Some people don’t appreciate at first outsiders’ view of their country but they gradually come to realize they’re too close to it and can’t always see things with detachment. 11:00 On Sundays truck drivers are also not allowed to drive according to "Sonntagsfahrverbot". It's a mixture of work and traffic saftey behind that rule. So, driving in the Autobahn on Sundays there might be lots of people in cars for a day trip but it's almost truck-free.

I'm a fellow Moroccan from Rabat who moved to Hamburg almost 10 years ago (after some years in France though) and I recognized myself in your video when I first arrived without any notion of German back then. I never left HH since then, except for a year which I spent in Berlin for work. Also, funnily enough I cannot stand being in Munich haha. It's super safe indeed but it lacks that "urban touch" which the other big three (B, HH, F) have. To be fair though, after years here in the North in a liberal harbor city, I think I became biased towards Bavaria somehow :-) I wish you good luck in your journey!

I had no courage to use U- and S-Bahn. Citues r like slums with some make up. By far Munich s a rich city. Many poor immigrants esp. In Frankfurt and Berlin. Go to Switzerland! Richer and nicer ...

Public Transportation is realy good in Munich today. I saw how the S-Bahn and U-Bahn was bild beginning of the 70's for the Olympic Games. In this time traffic was an absolute Chaos in Munich. Today it is great. But it is not like this in other county areas. Depends on where you live. But nevertheless; nice Video.
Never really thought about it till you said it. Think about what a crazy concept it is to live in western society and having to plan when you leave a party just to get home safe.
You speak Arab, French, good English, hardly any German and live in Munich. You are into English literature. You are muslima, so one of the modern kind. You are a more than attractive (very important for abos) western, modern woman, that stands on her own feet. Now you are checking, if a RU-vid career with the typical Germany in the titel can be a thing for you. Would be nice to discover more from you, since it is still uncommon for an Maroccan female to do so much her own thing. yasser saifi Hello! I actually only have an A2 level in German so not at all professional proficiency. Still, in Munich there are many global companies and start-ups that will take you as an English speaker. I know it is different from one city to another, of course. It was a bit hard at the beginning to find my first job, but once the dices rolled, I could get different offers throughout time and different opportunities. It’s always hardest at the beginning and all the rejections can be a bit frustrating, but you have to keep pushing trough because once you are in, it becomes easier. Germany is much more than munich region or even bavaria. You should travel all around germany to experience much more of it as public transportation is so easy as you already mentioned. Nice video. just try to speak slower ;-) Go on with the good work! take care and stay safe!

Interesting to get a different perspective, 'cause honestly, I fucking hate it here. Everything is expensive af, especially the rent and electricity. Not to mention the absurd amounts of taxes imo. Hell, I have to pay for shit I don't even use in the first place and that doesn't benefit me at all (Runfunkbeitrag). And maybe it's just me, but I feel like everything people do here is BBQ and drinking beer. I too live in an "Universitätsstadt" (Jena, Thüringen) and I can't wait to leave it all behind me.
It is allowed for things which have to be done on a Sunday, like working in restaurants, hotels and so on. Factories are only allowed to work with a special permit.

@@sofiaabid6239 Not at all! As I was 19 I would like to study after school at a public university, but I didn't even get Bafög, because my parents earned at this time 50 € over limit. So instead I did my trainee and since then I'm working.... But my brother did have the same problem, so he worked for his education!
@@Kessina1989 interesting! Because I personally study for free with no scholarship (at least none that I am aware of) and it's the case for every other student I know going to a public university in Germany. But maybe there are special cases I guess.
@@Kessina1989 Bafäg is just support for students whose parents don't have the money to support them. You cound have insisted on your parents giving you the support they are supposed to provide (if you hadn't lived at home at this point, at the very least you would have gotten the Kindergeld in full). Also, there is nothing which would have hindered you to visit university after finishing your trainee. That is even recommended, to first get some basic practical experience and then do an additional degree.
You don't pay for university, except a nominal administration fee, which was around €100 per year when I studied, which was quite a while ago. Bafög is not money you give to the university; Bafög is money you get, from the government, while you're studying, and which is intended to cover your cost of living - food, housing, clothing, that kind of thing. Yes, you have to pay that back. But it is not like in the US, where you need to pay 1000s of dollars to the university in addition to your normal cost of living.
