So much has changed since you made this video. You can get a lot more information before signing up for a client, called an opportunity. I hope that you will either update this, or make a note that things have changed.
This is the best most descriptive video regarding live ops I've seen your pov was different direct upfront and organized thank you for taking the opportunity to share with us !!!
I just signed up for the background check. I appreciate your 10 tips. That is crazy about the 10th one that if you quit, you cannot apply for LiveOps again. Hopefully I will get started soon!
Thanks for watching! Just to clarify you can continue to work with Liveops but if you quit from one of their clients you may not be able to work with that specific client again. At least that's what I remember when I left BBW. However, they may have updated the policy by now.
Hi Im Deva and I start with Victoria Secret Monday. I have to complete a lot of elearning. Thanks for helping me along this journey. You answered a lot of my questions.
@@Lovely_iza me to I'm waiting on the next steps my back ground check clear I'm waiting on my laptop 💻 to come. and the paper work does any know how long does open force to complete and clear they saying 72 hours I did it Thursday I'm unsure about it I set up direct deposit and everything else?
I wish I had known networking and social media were key elements for success with this platform, I'm good with customers and relaying information to educate not making collogues so much. Like the phrases building relationships and work feel so awkward.
This was an awesome video and I truly appreciate the help because this gave me a lot more understanding of what Liveops is and does for customers, the Liveops program does not really explain that well. You have a really good day and thank you again.
I was going to apply with Liveops. The healthcare assistant for life packs. But I don’t want to go spend a ton of money for dual monitors, headphones with great mic etc if it’s a scam. I am very concerned doing a w9. They can get away with not paying right because I would be “independent”.
I am starting again with Liveops very soon, but I worked with them way back in the day when they first started. Things have change since I first worked with them. I'm still friends with my study buddy from back then. I started with John Sokoloff taking calls from people who want more information about getting their money when they need it lol. The other thing that has changed is each campaign pays different. and I can't find anything on that. I'm excited about working with them again I just hope the campaign is a good one, I'm curious what companies they service now a days. I hope that it will be fun. Thanks for such a detailed video.
Hi Teacher Daesha, I am in a bad rut right now, so I truly apprecaite your help and kindness of these videos. i hope it works out for me.You're truly a blessing. I just wanted to know, do we have to be on camera face to face during training or do we have to voice chat with others and if so, for how long? I have anxiety! :(
Hi! Thank you so much for your kindness in this comment and I am so sorry for my delay in responding. Most companies do not require you to be on video. Only one company has asked me to be camera ready and that was TurrboTax. You do have to talk on the phone. Most of my conversations lasted about 10 minutes.
Thank you for this video. Recently started with Liveops but still havnt started with a company. Im waiting for other options. In the meantime, im looking up different experiences people had and it seems pretty stable.
Thank you for watching! I hope you are able to start soon. It has been stable for some if you work it right. A friend of mine has worked with Liveops for years. So it's definitely has the potential to be stable!
For those who are here to find out if u can live abroad and work them. She said she doesn’t think you can but you totally can. When working for liveOps you are hired as an independent contractor. That means you have to be registered as a business owner in your country of residence (US) you are responsible for filing your own taxes, equipment ect ect. You work on your own time too. U can totally be abroad and work from that country without any issues. If u were to be hired as an employee then you would need your company’s consent to work abroad. Not as a private contractor.
@@PacmanJedstarz I work for another company that didn’t allow me to go overseas but I fixed that problem by getting a VPN external router and mask my location. Make u install a VPN on ur computer and don’t mention it. They dont need to know where u gonna be
@@PacmanJedstarz too much information my man. If u wanna work abroad without your company knowing do a lot of research. Most companies will give u a laptop and hiding its location can be tricky. It took me months and a lot of research to be able to hide my location
Thank you for all the great information. When I signed up for Liveops there were only two jobs. I did not know I could wait on a just fit job. I ended up with Turbo tax. Can you explain the cam? I thought it meant having a computer camera. Can I quit TurboTax and wait for another fit? Should I keep the commitment and get use to working and then pick up something else later? Please help.
can you please tell me where to go and get that tips and tricks for newbies that you spoke about at the end of your video. thanks for all the good info to know
Thank you for this video! At least now I know I’m too poor to apply for Liveops! I was hoping to find something at home since I don’t have an automobile. It is almost impossible to find a job without a car! Please please anyone have any suggestions for something more affordable??
Hi, I feel your pain. I don't have a car at this time either. Used to have to drive 30 miles each way to work so this pandemic actually improved my ability to work. I intend to get a car as soon as possible though. There are other staffing agencies that advertise online. If you go to Rat Race Rebellion, you can find only work from home jobs (remote jobs some of them are called) and that's where I have found most of my jobs in the three years since the pandemic began. Most of the jobs are listed with the pay and most of the pay is anywhere from $10 per hour to $15 per hour. They investigate their listings so that no fake jobs slip through. Try it. And yes, Daesha is awesome. And my mouth began to water when she showed the Seoulbox. Yummy and since I am a vegetarian, as soon as I get some extra money together, I will order. Anyway, luck and blessings with your job hunt.
Hey Girl!!! I’m so happy you did this video I subscribed to your Chanel. With Liveops do you get to choose the company you want to work for and do you get to choose how many hrs?? Also can this job be done late in the evening or at nighttime??? Thanks girl so much for all your help and information. God bless!!❤️
Heyyy!!! Thanks for watching and subscribing! Yes you can choose the company and you can choose what hours you work (both early and late) but with most companies you do have a specific amount of hours you need to work per month. Thanks again for your support ❤
I am so glad to see this video. I am a seasoned Independent Business Owner and have been applying to LIVEOPS for months and with no success. It mostly states that they will contact you and receive only one email of aknowledgment. How long is the turnaround? I would appreciate your assistance.
Thank you for watching the video and for leaving a comment! I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with the Liveops application process. The turnaround time for hearing back from Liveops can vary, but it's generally best to reach out to them directly for an update on your application status. You can contact their support team through their website, and they'll be able to provide more information on the status of your application and any next steps you may need to take. I hope that you are successful in your application and that you find the right opportunity☺
Hello, new subbie here. After watching your video, I completed the LiveOPS application, and immediately received a message from them that at this time, they have received a high-volume of applications and are not excepting any at this time. Did you experience this ?
I'm kinda scared of starting since you mentioned some questionable things especially not being paid for training, i've had 2 jobs previously where i didnt understand what i was doing
Hi, Thanks so much for this information. Just applied with them. Are you able to work with Liveops and another work from home company? If they don't have enough calls available would like to be able to make income through another company as well if allowed. Thanks again!!!
LiveOps has NOT PAID me for work I did April 8 to 21st on their Turbotax program. They do not respond to my support ticket and do not answer their phone at the corporate office. Has anyone else had trouble getting paid from LiveOps??
Thanks for the video. I am a licensed social worker. What do you know about the healthcare positions at Liveops? I just submitted an application, and I am really excited about this opportunity.
Hi Dawn! I haven't seen many healthcare company opportunities on LiveOps. One agent did mention one before so I would say, having that on your resume is definitely a great bonus. However there might not be a lot of positions for you to use it in.
Thanks! It is a group session where we are split into breakout rooms of about 50 agents and 1 trainer. And your camera does not need to be on at all. In fact, they don't allow you to turn on your camera during the sessions.
Just curious about the split screen, every company I have worked for had a place on the call record for notes, so why do you need a split screen? Can you elaborate on this?
Liveops is a total scam. I had a terrible experience. The client I joined claimed to pay 25 cents per minute. I later found out I was only getting 20 cents per minute. I committed to work 20 hours per week and my checks were only 70 to 80 dollars every two weeks! Such a waste of time.
Wow! I'm so sorry to hear that. I actually worked with LiveOps and my experience was the complete opposite. My client was Bath and Body Works. They paid the correct amount and on time and gave me the bonuses as advertised. Again I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with the client you serviced.
No ..you just cant read at all 😂 and applied its PER TALK TIME . So if you worked 5 hours and only been on the phone with actual people for 2 mins that is all you getting . You should read you sign up for .
I tried to sign up but couldn’t figure it out. I filled out everything (paperwork) and sent it in but they sent it back to me within a week🤷♀️ nothing against them I guess I was just new & didn’t know what to do.
Hello I literally just applied for Liveops YESTERDAY, my application and background check went through successfully. I have a full time job already, and I am just looking for part time extra income. What are my next steps from this point ? I received another email for signing some type of contract, and wasn’t sure if I would be fully committing myself if sign that contract. as I am still doing my research, to make sure this is what I want to do. Is there a time frame that I am on, to complete everything ?
Hi Kimberli! Sorry if this is too late of advice 😅. When working with Liveops you need to sign two contracts. One with Liveops (has to be renewed in about 6 months or so) and one with the opportunity/company you decide to join. When you sign the one with LiveOps you aren't obligated to take calls yet. You don't start calling until the contract/scope of work, with the company. I hope this helps and CONGRATULATIONS!
@@TeacherDaesha in time to help me out 😉 thank you. Need to pass a test in next 2 weeks, so i have a much better idea of the time commitment for LO now.
Hi! I am seriously considering applying to Liveops but I'm a little confused...do I have to get an EIN number or can I just use my social security number? What do you recommend? Also, do you need to pay quarterly employment taxes?
Hi, I have been an Independent Contractor for over 10 years with a company. You do have to pay quarterly taxes. Contact the IRS and they will tell you all about that. Also, you don't need an EIN number unless you will be running your own business and hiring people to work for you. Otherwise, you can be an LLC and use your SS number.
I have a full time job 8 am to 5pm eastern, are there any training classes set up for evenings? I want to have extra income coming in, but there's no training classes for evenings there all morning training classes.
My resume was 'considered' by Liveops and I am not sure if I should try it considering that it will get me more experienced with my medical administrative, plus I'm in need of another job
I just signed up for and got accepted. I hear alot about working with Bath & Body Works, what are the peak hours for them?? I don’t see them listed. Thank you!
so i have done the application background check direct deposit and have received confirmation everything has been varified now im starting the erollment process but its asking me for a verfication code to get started whre do i get the verification code can you please direct me in the right direction please thanks
I'm currently with Liveops and enjoy it for the most part. I was wondering, since I might be moving my office, do I absolutely really need that darn ethernet cable? Are there any opportunities that do not require having the cable with office set-up?
Iv done customer service from home for years and let me give you a pro tip - majority of companies don’t even know you aren’t using an Ethernet cord. Actually I have NEVER used one for work. My internet has the same stability wether it’s hard wired or not, and changes nothing (for ME) though. I use a cheap $50 a month T-Mobile internet box too 😅. I don’t have an Ethernet plug anyway because I use a laptop, I don’t have a desktop unless the company I’m working for gives me one, other than that nope nope. I love to work in the bed with my Netflix on in the background. BUT for “technical checks “ at the beginning or something I just have a friend sign in for me who’s hardwired.
@@laserkeyboardpro4239 thank you! I can't begin to tell you how frequently my husband and I argue about the cord. He says I don't need it (and I think he's right), but I live in fear that I will be booted off if discovered by the company. I'm afraid I'll lose the income and I need to work from home.
@@laserkeyboardpro4239 I am trying to just apply and it says I need to turn off my VPN. I have done that and it still won't let me thru. Someone said it probably is MY TMOBILE internet.. So you are saying YOU are doing LIVOPS with TMOBILE?.... I get great speeds.. so ..
@@laserkeyboardpro4239 see, this is confusing... I have TMOBILE 5G Gateway home internet. IT is not broadband. I am not getting clear information on this requirement for "wired" connection. If I just plug my computer into the TMOBILE Device does that 'suffice" I get required speeds.. etc.. just confused.
@@caelidhg6261 wired connection literally just means you plugging the Ethernet cord in your computer so it’s “connected” dear. So YES it is suffice cause what you explained is exactly what it means lol it means using the wires and plugging it in
So is the pay per minute while on a call, and if so, how much? Or do you get paid a specific amount per call regardless of length of call, and if so how much? Thank you!!!!!
I have a question.....do u ever speak to anyone that actually works at Liveops? Did u have to sign up for Open force and did they charge you for direct deposit?
I haven't spoken to anyone that works at Liveops recently. The information in this video was based off of my own personal experience. In my experience with Liveops I do not remember being charged a fee for Openforce but I did have to sign up for direct deposit.
Hi is there a background check fee for liveops. I have completed the app and was transferred to a site called sterling; which is suppose to conduct a background check for an 25 dollar fee. Someone let me know if its legit or not.
Someone has contacted me saying they work for live ops but their asking for my social and access to my ID me I don’t feel comfortable giving this information through text is this their normal process?
I want to know why they seem to be so secretive with what companies you can work for and what their requirements are before you even go through the application process. Like you said, if you knew that specific company had blah blah requirements like the being on cam and wearing the shirt, etc., you wouldn't have applied. I wouldn't have either because one of perks of working from home is not having to look presentable on a daily basis! LOL They're just wasting their time and ours doing this. Just let people know!
They may have an NDA (nondisclosure agreement) with their clients and they don't want just anyone being able to see those companies and giving out client specific info. A lot of call centers and 1099 contact centers do this.
they do tell you about the company and the requirements.. THe problem I HAVE is that LIVE OPS really rushes you through to pick a client and the client slots fill up fast and the client "disappears" from your options... I am like OH NO and I chose BBW.. but then a week or so later it comes around again. I didn't know that and new clients come around.. so if you do wait, you can see clients and if your choice goes away it probably will be back up. They have these Signing schedules and so there are Groups that sign up for say ONBOARDING (training) on October 31 and then another group starting 11/7... etc..
did i get myself into trouble i havent heard from liveops since having to change my name at ss and inform them of my married name not matching my openforce
Thank you for the great IWIK tips, I have a question. I completed all my intro and am ready to select a client, however opportunities has been empty the entire time, How do I know the opportunities will show up as well as how often do they show up so I can choose a customer?
Hi Corry! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately my only piece of advice is to keep checking. One of the reasons I've shyed away from Liveops is that they don't have many options available and the ones they do I prefer not to work with. In the meantime feel free to check out similar companies such as Arise. I've also had a friend find successful WFH gig on indeed. Hope this was somewhat helpful 😊
In my experience, it depends on the company you sign up with. When I was with Bath and Body Works I could pretty much work whenever I wanted. But with TurboTax I could hardly find work. That's why I haven't been back to Liveops yet.
@@meyonmastermind7497 Not at the moment. The last company I was with. I could barely get any hours. So I decided to stop since I didn't have much time to spend on them anyway 🙃
Hi Mary! You could schedule more. However, I would not personally recommend that, so you can give other agents an opportunity to work. Also, I think it's a best practice to allow yourself some wiggle room in the case of any illness or family emergencies you may have to tend to.
