Thank you! All points were spot on. I especially needed to hear the part about them being your kids and setting boundaries no matter who is watching them. I’ve been struggling with this since, like you said, our caregiver options are limited. Our kids deserve the best and we need to advocate for the best care for them. ❤

Thank you Courtney for these words. From a French twin mom of two daughters the same age as yours. Every part of it is so true and it makes me feel understood and not alone. My husband and I, we love our daughters so much, but we often wonder how it would be like to be singleton parents. The love is real, so is the challenge.

That last point 🤍 so much grief in being a ftm to twins. It’s so hard not to go bitter over it sometimes. Every point you shared I can resonate with 🤍 this **** is soooo hard. But also so rewarding!

Literally crying on your last point of can’t imagining a life with only one of them. It’s so so true but also We talk all the time like after changing one diaper like oh wow can you imagine if we had 1, we would be done now but I have to change another etc etc. I don’t know if it’s because we have identical twins but we always tell the story to our girls that our baby a , Frankie was lonely in there and knew she would want a friend so she said copy, paste and made Vanessa 🩷🩷🩷🩷 and I think I feel it most when I see babies at a brewery with just their mom, like I can’t handle them both out like that! But it’s the most special thing 🎀🎀

oh the diaper changing i think about all the time! when mothers say “yes my husband handled all the diapers at the beginning” im like oh did he that’s amazing 🥵🥵 not an option for us with two bums to clean! I love that story oh my goodness I may have to steal that for our girls, how precious 🥺
