During the mana section, you should add: To get a bunch of mana early game is to interact with the fountain in town (with the golden water) 1/week (so every sunday for like a +4 to +5 boost. There's also a wishing well going eastward up top (like going to the eastern forest) a snaccoon blocks the way. Apples, bananas, and green pepper flakes (all you can get in that area). Will give you another ~4 ish mana per week. 👍 TIP #4: As with seasonal pests, you can turn off seasonal hazards as well (should be the option right below it)
Omg the hoe trick, thank you!! Also, I completely agree the museum is annoying due to having to keep track of all the items individually. A good tip to share is where the peach tree is and beach and tree forging for explore points
As soon as you said "owlbear whistle" I knew I needed this game! I've played dungeons and dragons for years and my favorite monster is the owlbear. It is literally a combination of the best parts of both animals. Bear body, owl head, and VERY deadly!

Mana buildup: Eat your first foragables up to 5 times or so, including seaweed. There are diminishing returns, but it all helps. Unlock the Snacoon in the Eastern Forest asap for the well that gives you Mana once a week. I go to the fountain & well every Sunday which gives you 9 mana I do believe. Start cooking and eating Mana cooked foods asap. Go to the western forest often to look for Mana tombs.

8:58 there's a 2nd withergate mine... in the Town, there's a subway entrance near the Apartment (south of the theater/giantTV?). You pay in tickets instead of the key-system from Nel'Vari.
when i'm mining, i like to stay there until 11:50pm, exit and reload game to spawn in my house to go to sleep. for some reason that is the only instance where the time switches for me, i go from 11:50pm to 11:00pm every single time. does anyone know why that is?
If you log off the game after 11pm you’ll always come back exactly at 11 pm, if you didn’t realize it was almost midnight just log off and you’ll have some extra minutes minutes 🎉
Thanks for the tips Lindsey! Very useful. Just playing few hours only. One thing I'm not a fan about is time limited bulletin board quest because I don't want to rush it. I want to get those rewards so need to do it fast.😂Also I just turned off seasonal pests.

This is of course completely not relevant to the video.. and I know this is a year old but please don’t give your dogs antlers.. they can be really bad for their teeth and their stomachs shards can pierce their intestines if you didn’t know. So just be cautious!
i dont even have the game nor do i have a pc. BUT! i plan on getting a steam deck or ally later this year and this is the first game i am getting for it! saving this to rewatch later when i actually have the game :)
Of course! So there are a lot of different fruits and foods that when you hover them in your inventory, they will tell you if they add some mana permanently. Pay attention to that. And there are these little books called mana tomes that will add mana as well. You can find those in the forests and you can craft them as well at your anvil! Hope that helps!

I’ve been in the subway next to the apartment building. It reminded me a lot of the game Eastward, if you’ve ever played it! BUT I DIDNT KNOW IT WENT TO MINES. I will be checking that out immediately
@@everydaylindsey haha yeah, you have to buy a ticket and the most expensive one brings you to the biggest area to mine, it works similarly to Nel'Vari mines 😁
Just started playing today, so THANK YOU for all of this! I'm definitely going to turn off seasonal pests! (Now if I could just figure out how to move things from my backpack to my hotbar and vice versa without using a chest...!)
Omg. That has to be frustrating. You should be able to do that by opening your inventory. You can drag from there to the bar! I do wish the backpack was more like stardew where you can switch the bar without opening the backpack but I do like how you don’t have to upgrade the bag, ever
