YESSSS QUEEN RYAN!!!! 😂😂😂 Brittney these were great tips, especially the light in the plant trick. Brilliant and fun! I also totally agree with the curtain length. I was struggling with my weird window in my tiny apartment/studio/in-law. I have one small window in the bedroom/living area that is WIDE and short, so trying to figure out the curtain situation literally took me like 2 years. I did start with pushing the rod up higher (which is actually just a tension rod held up with command hooks and spray painted cuz I'm on a budget LOL) and it did help, but my curtains sat right at the bottom of the window. And they were red as my accent color. I finally went ahead and switched to some much longer neutral curtains and OMG does it OPEN up the window! Such a SIMPLE fix that makes a HUGE statement!

The rug size tip & the big empty wall tip are great. I have had a big wall that I've decorated but never have been happy with. it either looked disjointed or too small. I was at our local thrift store yesterday & found the perfect sized picture for that wall. I cantnwait to get it in place!
