Dude was able to talk because it’s not evil magic. When Mal says “hey, I’m me again!” one of the other VKs says “Duh, evil magic doesn’t work here, kinda the point.” A truth gummy isn’t evil. I’d say that’s why Maleficent was still a lizard too, because it wasn’t evil magic.
SPOILER ALERT!!! if you paid attention,... hades says "nice show you put on back there" and she says "right back at you" they attacked each other so no one would figure out that they were father and daughter.
The first one, if you look in the books, Dizzy still needed to be accepted by one of them and they could only take four so that would leave Evie without someone to invite.

I believe Evie still has her powers, she just chooses not to use them. Maleficent was a fairy so her powers were natural while the Evil Queen used potions for her magic. The mirror was magic on its own, but was probably spelled to only work for the EQ which is why it only worked for Evie in Auradon, but besides that we do see Evies amazing chemistry abilities in D1 and D2 when she creates the smoke bombs for the pirates. This resembles the potion casting abilities her mother had in Snow White. Also it’s very noticable that Evie was excited to be in Auradon and as soon as she had the choice, she chose good remotely quickly. So along with giving up her mirror she probably used her powers for more practical reasons like chemistry
Some you missed: In D1 when Chad was writing the note to Evie he pulled out a highlighter, yet when Evie reads it it seems to be written in pen. In D2 even if they had brought the real wand to Uma and her pirates, it wouldn’t have worked anyways because magic doesn’t work on the Isle Of The Lost. Also Evie said to old hag Mal “Let’s get you into something fabulous” and that’s why she was wearing something else.
Hey! In Descendants 3, Celia says that EVIL spells don’t work on the isle. Maleficent turning into a lizard was a good spell, and the talking dog gummy magic wasn’t technically an evil spell. But Audrey cast an evil spell on Mal.
In the Aisle only bad magic gets blocked, so the grandma thing got taken down since Audrey did it for a bad reason, but the others were good magic so that kept existing.
There are a few more things: how did Audrey just get inside with not using her hands to open the gate? How did the security guard fall asleep a soon as Audrey came into the museum?
Did anyone else notice that when mal was into an elderly woman she looked a lot like Evie's mom did when she disguised her self as an elderly woman in Snow White and the Seven Drawfs
Similar to the apple continuity error, we see a similar problem when Audrey locks Chad in the closet. She picks up a bowl of pears, lets the pears fall on the table, and throws the bowl at Chad. But when the scene cuts back, there's less pears on the table. I guess Audrey just hates fruit that much.

No. He was not still under the sleeping spell from Mal, because after the alarm went off from Jay trying to steal the wand, the guard woke up and ran to investigate. He was probably tired and bored because on an island of all good people, a guard wouldn't see much action. It'd be a boring job.
The museum guard really was under a sleeping spell, but mal didn't cast the spell. Audrey cast that spell so she could steal the scepter and crown unnoticed.

The security thing always bugged me. Most powerful things in anywhere and they are literally so unprotected. It's only ever seen to have one security guard, when it should have WAY more. It's so easy to steal things, it's sorta unbelievable.

I think that since Celia has been on the isle her entire life, she thought that only the powers of evil doesn't work when in reality all magic doesn't work there but it makes no sense to me on how it reversed that spell but not the gummie that mal made for Carlos with a spell so that the dog can talk, and how come mal didn't turn back into the old hag when they left the isle

Oki the question about Mel's dad draining her powers is a good one my thought is he dose not like her mom and wants Mel to remain good not evil and sence her powers mostly come from her mom he thought it would be best to drain them but it dose not sussed so Mel's powers don't take a hit it actually gives me more respect for him thinking about it... He just wanted her to stay good
In Descendants 1 Mal and Ben had a date. He gave her a magic rock for apology. She could just wish that the barrier will break down. That would probably change the whole story. P. S. I still love descendants 😘😂
So in Descendants 2, one thing literally made no sense. Mal said that no spells worked in the isle of the Lost which was true as we saw but when Mal gave Uma the fake wand, it would obviously not work but even if she had given him the real wand it would probably not work there. There was no reason why Uma had to react like that... Makes sense to you??
In descendants 2, you see Mal returning back to the Isle of the lost.She gets her hair done with Dizzy. She puts the purple dye on Mal's hair but after sometime the hair became LIGHT PURPLE!!This doesn't make any sense.🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

First Mal used magic to cross the barrier. Second the first movie I think. It was a potion that made him talk because it said that it will all the time.
I found another one: Mal says she can't swim because she lived in the Isle with a barrier. However, Uma also says she's an excellent swimmer, but she also lived in the Isle with a barrier just like Mal.
I was confused why Uma thought The fairy godmother’s wand was going to work even if the wand with a fake copy, because that stick doesn’t work on the isle
one of my friends who watched Descendants 3 with me suggested a theory that seems to explained it she said that because he was using his ember in that scene and knowing that Mal was his child maybe he was transfering some of the power of the ember to her but because she was relatively unfamilar with that power it had a draining effect that made her feel drained when it actually was empowering her.and gifting her some of his powers to steal souls so that when he gave her the ember to save Auradon that it would capture the soul of the person attacking auradon and which then explains way audrey was put into a death like sleep after Mal had won the battle and why they needed hades to come to wake her up.
When Hades was "draining Mal's powers" he was just using powerful magic to weaken her powers temporally also he wanted to escape so that's why he tried to weaken her powers.
YA and also with the guard here the like that or if you see the music world that one scene where Audrey goes out like that famous see where she goes out and she says like I want what I deserve with a card here the glass shatter like when the lights turn off that doesn’t make any sense?!
Random thing when Disney characters sing it's like things HAVE TO work out for them Descendants 1: mal, Jay, carlos, and evie try to rob the museum and fail Descendants 3: audrey robs the museum WHILE SINGING and she just walks right in there turns of the security cameras and takes the crown and scepter

When they go to the isle in the 3rd movie and Mal turns into herself again from being a hag, the pirates steal and crash their bikes. They never show how they got back to Auradon. I mean they could’ve rode on dragon Mal or maybe wrapped around tentacle with Uma but it doesn’t show it
Well, In Descendants 3 in the end there was confetti falling from the sky out of nowhere 🤔 another thing about the ending is that when does confetti falls to the floor when does screen changes its not there anymore 🤔🤔🤔 and it in the ending part when they tell about the cast confetti was now on the ground which is very strange🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 but also there's a hint, at the end of descendants 3 I noticed that they did not put the part " you didn't think this was the end of the story did you" and that's normally what they do but maybe that means that's the end of the story and there will not be a descendants 4😐😔😔😣😣😥😢😭🤟
Okay this was an amazing movie, no doubt about that, but did no one question why Audrey was able to touch the Dragons Eye Scepter in the first place without being cursed? Just curious
Also, the person who touches the scepter gets cursed to sleep, and in D3, Audrey did touch the scepter, but she didn’t let go of it. I believe that this is why Audrey was okay up until she and mal had their fight, since she fell asleep the moment Mal knocked dragon eye from her hands
Plot hole I discovered that Celia looked like she would had a big role in the movie in her clip but then she only had a small role and Jane's birthday cake looked like it was barely eaten a couple of times and some green apples disappeared when Audrey abused Chad.
Dizzy knew she was going to get the invitation but the question was did the audience know because I do watch the end credits but some people may not! The other possibility is if it was just an excited reaction

Tala Rohrback my guess was the scepter drew her in because it sensed her anger so it allowed her to touch it. Otherwise according to the book she would have been cursed to sleep for a 100 years just for touching it.
Hades started draining mal’s powers because it was the only way to get out and later in the movie with the song ‘do what you gotta do’ He said the ember only works for hade’s. So his aims wasn’t to kill mal it was to make her defence against him useless
I believe that the lyrics in do what you gotta do is a symbol meaning that if Hades did have a phone he wouldn’t have rung Mal anyway. I should know my “dad” hasn’t called me since I was 7 and now I’m 33. He definitely has cell service and probably a land line to so what’s his excuse!!!

@@rylenrainbow2364 I get that but it clearly shows in the ending of the second movie her being sent an exclusive invitation to attend the school , and the movies barely have anything to do with the books anyway, so there’s no point in the third movie trying to include that last detail , causing a huge goof

In descendants 3 Harry said they crashed the motorcycles so there was no way across to Auredon but when we see Uma's gang and Mal's Gang in Auredon We wonder how they got across
In D2 at the beginning Evie is holding a plate of apples first her hand is on the pole next to her but then quickly moves to the plate. She didn’t have time to move from the pole to the plate though

I can explain most of these First of all Dizzy's first invitation wasn't permanent it was only for a year Dude talking was because good magic does work in the idle but bad magic doesn't Audrey turning evil was because the sceptre cast the spell and turned her evil after she was "magnetised" it drawn to it Evil has a magic mirror and it was old so it probably didn't work well
In descendants 2 mal and evie were singing space between and when they were singing their were wearing long sleeves and in the next scene they are we're wearing sort sleeves.
well i can answer your first question. at the end of descendents 2, Evie said that she would get Ben a list of kids who would love to come to Auoridon. four kids with that invitation would be picked and that scene at the end was just looking at Dizzy's invitation.
