The Khanwa war between king of Chitaur Rana Sanga and Babur is not shown in the seeies... It is an important war that established Moughls Era.. This is even more important than Panipat war. Also Babur has ruled almost 4 years and died in 1530, but in the show it is shown he died just someday after Panipat War, and also Humayun's illness was not due to Panipat war.

Plz make a correction, as Umar Sheikh was son in law of Daulat Begam bcoz Babur was calling her NANI in whole series so by that relation Umar Sheikh was Son in law of Daulat Begam

Shabani Khan was died in battle of Marv but Babur has no part in it, probably after this battle Ismail shah sent khanzada to kabul on babur's request so by the time Babur was settled in Kabul. Even after he tried to capture Samarkand from successors of Shabani khan but lost in vain. Literally Babur has no part in it! So that part also fiction!

After the Fact vs Fiction video i watched the Empire series.. I liked it.. nicely shown about the honesty, loyalty, lust for throne, differences between family members can lead to misery. One thing i liked, though Babar spent most of his years in forest finally he conquered India with his will power. This shows that great determination can get you great things. Khanzaada role n her importance was also nicely shown. How she defeated Shybani Khan and got back. Though some of it was fictional

Great video. But, just a correction: Daulat Begum was not the mother of Umar Shaikh as you mention in the cliff hanger scene point. She was the mother of Qutlugh Begum, Babur's mother. Daulat was the daughter-in-law of Chengiz Khan and Qutlugh was her daughter , thus making her the granddaughter of Khan. Umar, on the other hand, is descended from Timur. And, that's how Babur is descended from both Timur and Chengiz Khan.

Why do u you quote it wrong . There is no misconception regarding babur life between historians . Babur wrote his own autobiography baburnama . And everything is crystal clear from there . and even during the time of akhbar there was a separate section of historian who wrote everything of that Mughal era .

Mughals spoke Turkik language in their homes and they used Persian as court language as during humayun's exile he sought refuge in persia and later used Persian bureaucrats to govern. People often forget that mughals were outsiders and not native to this country. Neither they looked like us nor they talked like us.
