Just to be clear, *THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE A "HATE VIDEO"* - I really enjoy playing The Crew Motorfest, but I wanted to shed light on some great features from TC2 which were unfortunately left behind. The lack of these features does NOT make me dislike Motorfest whatsoever, but it would've been INCREDIBLE if they included them in the game 😍 motorfest is still a great game ok :)
I can agree. the game has been really fun, but those small details they left out were quite unfortunate. no pedestrians made the world feel a bit more empty, though the map looks more detailed. i do hope they consider adding back housing, though i didnt use it much in tc2, it was cool to be able to display your favorite cars at the same time.
Removing the house was the biggest disappointment. I loved putting my cars on display and looking at them. It's something that set this game apart. Now everything is done through a menu. Like every other game. Baffling.
The Crew Motorfest is a good game. I like it. But I really prefer the USA Map. Going coast to coast was fun. Speeding along the highways in supercars or just from airport to airport in a plane or helicopter. I feel Ubisoft should keep updating The Crew 2 and giving us more content not letting go of the USA map.
another thing I noticed is when your character is wearing a hoodie for example and you drive a bike fast, the hoodie began wiggling or wanting to fly away now in motorfest it is a solid block like not moving at all even you are driving 200km/h+ on a bike
Also with the npcs they could have done such a good job with making big crowds and things like that on the sidewalks. The state capitol and other tourist locations don't seem right being so empty
I miss the houses, it would be awesome if there was a selection of houses like you can buy in forza 4-5. The helicopter was a important bit in crew2 you could use it for percussion, im finding that collecting collectibles ontop of the skyscrapers are really difficult, Personally im gutted when it comes to designing liverys , trying to do it in here is so mu h more complicated because you cant select anything you save in the local bit, more fonts wouldve been good
They should at Playlists that let you unlock houses around the map like mansions or regular ones. Or being able to own and apartment in the main city would be cool too
Yeah it's inevitable that some features we love probably won't be seen in Solar Crown - Hopefully the new features would make up for any missing ones 🤞
I wanted to get the game but I'm not really too sure about it anymore with how the entire singlepllayer gameplay is just doing races with cars that you don't own until you beat them, only 2 PvP gamemodes and so many things worse than or missing from tc2. Maybe they'll just fix most of these things in like 5 years of updates hopefully
Yup I’m on the same boat. I played the testing/ beta thing and that’s all I needed. Might but it in a few years when it’s on sale for $10. I will preorder test drive unlimited solar crown. Very excited for that one. Looks very promising too.
Actually there are backfires, you can even change the sound of it to make it sound like what they sounds in TC2. The visual however is just bugged and show nothing, I think this will be fixed in the enxt update
@@SXMP_FXR_7SXLO Yeah, there was a reward in an old summit by just simply doing the events that gave you the "rumble and tumble" audio signature. I invite you to search that name on youtube to listen to it, it's not exactly the same but it's VERY similar. Sadly you can't obtain it now :(
Btw there is the backfire bangs in the motorfest but there isn’t no flames that come out the exhausts, they haven’t removed the bangs just visual bug they haven’t fixed, there still there, but the visual side isn’t, just like the white wall tires are an ugly untextured colored mess it’s a visual bug they haven’t fixed and it’s really annoying I personally think they’d look amazing in this game
This has become a trend for game creators in general, they take features in their previous game and removes them instead of improving on them or keep them as they was at the least.
Maybe we are judging so fast a Game that realeased the last Moth but Motorfest is so dead, i mean, you don't have any more things that motivates you to continue playing the game after end all the Playlist and Play some Races on the Grand Race and Demolition Royale. Revisit is ok but i want to play the normal versión of the race with a Same Category Car, want to modify more details on the personalized races like Traffic for example, i want kore diferent activies, Something that motivates me to participate in the Custom Show, and more stuff.
Crew 3 would have been better the crew2 with this kind of details and a few extra s in game! crew2 was just more fun! Drift was drift not race vs drift, random people doing random stuff with each other the things you discribe, etc and the reward system was a lot better! And if you had youre car tuned it drove better than these in the crew M!I liked the race hyper drift drag more than the playlists! but still its a good game my hopes were a bit to high
Bring back license plates from TC1 bring back houses & map from TC2 Yes i said license plates ! License plates added the final touch to ya car Driving around with motorfest and the crew 2 on ya car is fuckin annoying
I don't know. I bought a month of the ubisoft sub because I wanted to play this but......after playing for about a week, it's kinda meh. Been looking for another alternative to FH5 but this isn't it.
