"fall damage is random" is probably the most accurate phrase possible. I've fallen hundreds of blocks from sky height on accident trying to get the achievement, only to miss and break my ankles while also only losing a single heart. Then jump up a single block and die immediately.
Funny coincidence that I started building a spawn area in my world the other day. I decided to build the old TU36 battle lobby as the spawn area, with a way to open the gate from the outside so I can let people into my world!

My friend wanted to build an upsidedown island with moss blocks and I wanted to make a high-rise. So we made an upsidedown island with an upsidedown high rise coming down from it.
What I like about this style of videos from toycat especially is that it isn’t as linear and regimented. After each idea we get to see toycat blow up the last thing he built, which is better than cutting away from the area to see something already built somewhere else.

I feel lucky to have a spawn point near 0,0 in my long term survival world. Accidentally I made it where people can start on top of a tower with no way down, if they're unlucky. Sorry!
I actually have a long term survival world from console edition in which I used one of the ideas from the 2017 Xbox one/PS4 spawn ideas video. Even your small videos go a long way :)
Basicly what i always do when creating a new multiplayer world is make the spawn as a Market place where everytime anyone wants to trade items they just go to spawn

I have had the same survival world for a long time. Before I knew a lot of what I know now about MInecraft. My base is like 600 blocks away from spawn, I had an existential crisis when I realized this might not be good for hosting visitors. Then I realized I don't play with anyone and likely no one will ever visit my base... it's just mine to enjoy and develop for myself. No outsiders allowed lol
People always want to call it bugrock but it's current programming and design isn't as old or worked on as javas so of course it's more iffy. Given time and proper management it could be mostly bug free. But as toycat has said before... Microsoft gives absolutely 0 f**** about managing anything except the marketplace....
And this isn't me hating Microsoft. Sure they aren't my favorite company, but like 99% of businesses that size have huge internal problems and they end up regretting when those issues cause lose of millions but they never f***ing change regardless
the thing i do is play on 1.12.2 which is the last version from mojang, altho you need a pc. i wont support microsoft because of what they did to a masterpiece
I made my world spawn area into a hotel with a small spawn area inside a massive atrium (inspired by the Gaylord National in Maryland for those who are curious) and built a laboratory and some offices underneath.
I had this minecraft world where I play with my friends and there were always randoms who joined so we made the spawn a giant cage full of torture mechanics it was hilarious
Just be careful of the increase in world file size, for some reason on BE, 4 copies of each map are made whenever one is generated which really inflates stuff
Hello ibxtoycat! Does Bedrock have proximity voice chat? I love playing with my friend but using two different app (Minecraft and Discor) are worst when my phone can't handle because sometimes it gets lag, I wish they add mods for voice chat. Thanks and keep safe!

I legit thought Toycat was calling the server spawn that was built for him a trans spawn until I read the subtitles Except the subtitles were RU-vid's auto-generated subtitles, so maybe he *did* call it a trans spawn
