Don’t switch off the fridge. It’s first of all too much work to empty n clean before u are travelling n second it’s totally unnecessary. I keep milk , yogurt n some food specially for my return in freezer. Can put dry fruits n flours n daals n spices in the fridge to keep safe for long. It’s a useful place. Plus switching off invites mould.
@@dianahussain5066 it stays well in freezer for a couple of months. I also keep tetra packs. The point being.. no need to empty n clean the whole fridge. Clear obvious food that will rot. Keep ur pantry stuff there to preserve . U can freeze fruit n vegetables too
I say switch too…Iv 2 refrigerators. One was all emptied other had sauces/frozen stuff..for some reason freeze broke down n had mould in the freezer food..I was out on 2 months…came back n had to clean /sanitize the freezer n fridge…though this doesn’t always happen..my other refrigerator was off n I was asked to leave it open n leave baking soda..it was fine. We did all of this and turned OFF the gas connection. Had TIMER lights in living rooms..
Yes i also consume all foods which can't keep long and clean the fridge..now a days milk curd and all basic things get easily so i don't keep...I follow same way and it is really help us after coming home

Please do not turn the refrigerator off.. its goin to breakdown.. our very well working refrigerator broke down as we had kept it off for months while travelling.. do not switch it off, this was advised by the refrigerator service guy..
Btw please don't mind, the way ur home was so clean and organized with 2 kids, a question came to my mind. Do you have OCD? I can understand you make videos which also takes so much of your stay at home mum time. So really it remains clean like this all time or only on videos.
This doesn’t seem to me as prepping for vacation but instead prepping for come back from vacation. For me as a working woman, vacation is a stress buster, just leave and go for a break. Watching this video itself is making me stressed out, it’s overwhelming for me, am sure if I do all this I would definitely be recovering from all the tiredness in first half of my vacation rather than enjoying. We can always catch up with all these when we are back anyways.
It's too much really. Seriously deep cleaning hovers?? Do you really follow all these steps when u go for a vacation or it was just for the video. i am going to India for a month in few weeks and am being a working mom of 2 small kids it's impossible. Few things are understandable like cleaning the bins but I will always keep my freezer on. After coming back there should be something to eat before going to a big grocery shopping .
