Highly Considering moving to the DMV area. I currently live in Connecticut an I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Can't secure a career out here for anything. Smh
Work your network! Anyone in your circles here? Make sure the resume and LinkedIn is tight. Get some help there if needed. Do you have experience in the areas you’re applying to? Do your need to take a couple of certifications and pivot to tech? What do you want to do? What do your love to do? Lots to do. Think positive and move in your faith. Thanks for watching!
@@HeathandTracyTV Good day! Thanks for the reply! I'm looking to pursue a career in Law Enforcement or Government. My resume is pretty solid, I may have to make a few adjustments to my LinkedIn. I do have some relatives that live in the DMV area which is good. I haven't been to the DMV area in over 10 years an I know alot has changed. But looking to make that visit in the spring or early summer, then eventually relocating by the fall.
Hi Heath and Tracy!! Thanks for this video. I'm still downsizing my house and getting it ready to sell all while apartment hunting in the No. Va area. It's a lot, I will say that. 😖 When you mentioned permits for moving trucks and parking, can you explain that a bit more? I am considering using a moving container company but I'm not sure how that will work once I'm settled in to my new community. 🤷🏾♀️
When you find your community double check the parking situation for a container. Ask the real estate agent, or the community manager if you move into a building. Thanks for watching and good luck!
