Love all you guys do! For #5, I lean toward the 12h 5m timing for two reasons: 1) Pooh's dream can only be achieved in REM sleep, which takes more than 5 minutes to achieve, and 2) During the birthday party, looking out the window, you can see green grass and blue sky (day time). Therefore, even though Owl was awake (great precept, BTW), I have to lean toward the noon party.
my mother and father used to work for DCA, and my dad was temp stationed as maintenance for Tower of Terror (back in those good old golden days...) and did something very similar for the cage display on the stairwell after the waiting room scene that you pointed out on Pixar Pier elevator. he drew a hidden mickey in the dust and it remained untouched until the Mission Breakout overlay. Thank you also for all the positivity and the support and the love, guys! I'm heading down on the 26th and staying until the 3rd, I hope to see yall and if not, I'll keep my eyes extra peeled for all the tips and trivia you've shared with us over the years!
Thank you for the kind words - single mom to a disabled child and Educator here - I needed to hear that! I love your videos because they are so well done, so positive and upbeat, and I always feel happy after watching!
Your sharing this video today was exactly what I needed today. I asked you to share some really deep unknown Disney secrets just a few weeks ago right before my son died. I had a really rough day today. Your encouraging words were really needed. In my overwhelming grief, I accidentally hurt my wife's feelings this morning and we cried half the morning. I spent the day with my kids at home grieving over the loss of their brother and tried to encourage one of my daughter's this evening who has been apparently so overwhelmed, she's been talking about hurting herself. Today...sucked. I love Disney and absolutely love adore you and your wife. You may not know or realize it, but your video was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for all that you do and your caring. I felt your care and it went right to my heart. Signed...a loving dad, I'll be visiting Disneyland in December to honor my son' s memory and will be remembering your kind caring words.
Darren. All the hugs to you. The loss of a child is a pain that never really leaves. My best advice is try to honor your son by having a good life with your family. I am so so sorry for your loss. 💙💚 it’s okay to grieve. Allow your body and mind the time it takes to process this. Much love to you. 💙💚
Number 5. Yes, Owl is awake. But in the cartoons and in the book, he's often awake during the day (as we see when he loses his house and moves into Piglet's house instead). All of this other friends are there, too - and I don't see Rabbit being awake at midnight. They would have also needed time to decorate, which they didn't do at his house in 5 minutes. Pooh also doesn't likely enter REM sleep where he actually dreams immediately; he needs some alpha sleep first. (I know children often enter REM sleep earlier than adults - but then again, Pooh is exactly 100 years old! Seriously - his birthday is August 21, 1921.) So I'll say he went to sleep at 11:55 at night, slept in (as bears are oft known to do), and was woken up at noon by his friends in time for his party. ALSO - Postcard! Woohoo! And I noticed you started out with a red tie. 😉
@@provostparkpass I think Chris might be right about Pooh only being asleep for 5 minutes. If you look at the weights underneath each clock they are in almost the exact same position on both clocks. If 12 hours had passed while Pooh was sleeping then the weights should be a lot lower on the second clock.
Owl has been awake and active during day time many many times through the shows and movies. So I'm not sure. Plus it looks a little like day time through the window in the birthday scene, but it's hard to tell. But good theory, Chris.
@@provostparkpass You got me there. But I do know at the very least that the 100 Acre Wood was originally based off of Ashdown Forest in Sussex, England. I'd have to look further into the lore and throughout the series for evidence that says otherwise, just not right now. Plus I somehow really doubt the clarity of Pooh canon, LOL.
omg i cried at the one minute point; im a senior in high school and i struggle with many mental health issues (especially with self-esteem) and the message you gave really hit me hard. y'all at provost park pass are amazing too, keep up the good work!
I thought - try me Chris!!! I know all the Disney deep cuts… or so I thought 🤣 you got me!!! Amazing! You’re sooooo knowledgeable and I appreciate all your hard work to deliver this to us! Also, thanks for being a positive, the world needs more provost and less of… whatever the heck is happening ❤️
Thank you Chris and Amanda for bringing a little bit of magic and positivity into all of our homes! I haven't been to Disneyland in years and your videos bring back all the happy memories. 💜
Chris, I am at the end of getting my Bachelor of Education to become an elementary teacher. It has been a very long and difficult 6 year process. The message at the beginning of your video brought me to tears. Thank you
Are you not in the US? Getting a Bachelor's in Education is for Administrators not teachers. We get a regular Bachelor's and then if it doesn't work out you have something else to fall back on lol. Student teaching is really rough and your first year you will pull your hair out. Good luck but it's a really hard profession at this point.
He slept for 12 hours and 5 min. He starts out going to sleep in the dark But when he is at his party it’s daylight Outside. Also Owl is not your typical owl. He is awake during the day. Even though the cake is above the 12 it is noon not midnight. 😁 Love all your top 10 videos. You give us all a lot of new information. I thought I would know these but I only knew of 2! Aaahhh!! Haha! Keep it up Amanda and Chris!
🧡 Chris, you need to hear that YOU, sir, are AWESOME! Thanks for being a positive influence in this crazy world. PS I applaud you for picking up after yourself from that Tigger Tail 🥳 Hope to bump into you at the parks on day!
Professor Andrew’s puns, sully shoes, chocolate fascination and amazing positivity as always from Chris Provost himself. This video is just what I needed thank you! Postcard!
I’m in law school and I’m really feeling the pressure right now and this almost made me cry! Thanks for being so kind and supportive of everyone 🤍🤍 really needed that today
Postcard! Thank you for your videos. I'm a parent and a teacher. You're right. The worls sometimes feels like it's falling apart and it's hard in education right now. My seeing your videos will remind me that I'm a mom and wife first and to enjoy spending quality time with them 💕
Wow! I loved all these cameos! Always good to see professor Andrew, even if he kind of looks like a movie villain behind the desk holding the country bears and petting them 🤣🤣 also, thank you for the positivity Chris! So kind and sweet and lovely and just so happy. Thank you for the videos!
I agree with professor Andrew...I loved County Bears and miss it.. Pooh belongs over in Fantasy Land.. where the Theater by Small World is ...or wher the motor boats used to be....bring back Country Bears!
@@provostparkpass tell him I'm an old guy with nerve damage as my disability...he makes me look like a whimp and I gain so much from people like him that just DONOT give up
I agree with you Chris, it's 5 minutes! My reasoning, Pooh has his nightcap on, so he is obviously ready for bed at 11:55 pm. The next clock shows his birthday has begun, which is 12:00 am. The elapsed time is 5 minutes. Plus, they had to wake him up. You don't need to be awoken if you've slept for 12:05 minutes.
Thank you for your positivity and light! I needed to hear those words today. You, Amanda, and Miles are amazing. Thank you for sharing your lives with us🤍
Thanks Chris for another great video. Pohh slept thru the night. Went to sleep at 11:55pm and his birthday party was at 12 noon hence the bright sunlight thru the window at the party.
Awww thank you Chris! It’s so great to hear this specially being a new mom, not to one but to twin girls. I have no idea at times what I’m doing but they are growing they are healthy and very happy babies
Postcard! Been going to Disney World for almost 40 years, taking my first trip to Disneyland in two weeks with my family. Been watching all your videos to prepare and I must say I LOVE your content. Thank you!
We just went to D-land last weekend and you need to be prepared. The ticket stalls are really slow because they have to take your picture which NO ONE has mentioned. Make sure you make your dining reservations ASAP or you won't be able to eat anywhere (we did not know this and were starving). All the big rides are full up pretty quick so choose which ones you must go on and get there right when it opens and go on those. I was really surprised but Fantasyland wasn't busy at all throughout the whole day. Everyone is just sitting around waiting for their reservations which in 40 years I have never seen Fantasyland empty lol Galaxy's Edge there isn't much to do except the 2 rides. Everyone is really rude I hope that when you go you have a better time.
I was NOT expecting that Cameo from your friend about the bears AAAHHAHAH OOMGG he is hulariouss!! That is the best part of this video i am dyyinnggg 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I met you while you were making this video . I was by the lockers (camara shy redhead). You are just as kind and PUNNY 🤣 as you are in the videos ! You were my highlight of the trip ! After this comment, I'm upgrading my subscription, you guys are SO worth it ! Thank you for all you do ! 👏👏👏
Chris, I didn’t realize Sherlock Holmes was a special guest on this video… absolutely agree with your thought about Pooh’s 5 minute slumber! And postcard
A POSTCARD would be the ultimate souvenir from Disney as I did not get a chance to get your autograph this past weekend with my daughter. Love the new video cant wait for more.
Wow, ok. I didn't know I was going to cry today from all these positive messages, but I guess I needed to hear it. Hands down the best Disney RU-vid channel. 🙌 💖
These were new ones! I loved learning something new. So many Disneyland secrets videos have the usual "secrets". Thanks for taking the time to find new ones! You always have fabulous content. Professor Andrews Pooh jokes made me laugh. I'm with him. Country Bears are better than Pooh.
Postcards! I agree with many others that Pooh Bear slept for 12 hours and 5 minutes because the view through the windows shows lighter blue skies and hills. At the beginning, it started as a blustery day that turned into a blustery night (straight out of the movie).
Chris, Thank you for an awesome video and for making us feel good too. I am a single student and you are right, the way the world is right now we all could use some encouragement. This is a first for me usually in your secret reveals video I know most of the facts but this time I only knew about Goofys intercom being upsidedown and Winnie the Pooh in the Balloon /Country Bears (Best Attraction Ever). I have also seen all of your Aulani vacation videos and it looks like you had a great time. I am glad you and your family were able to visit thereafter your trib around the world got canceled. The best part of the vaction seemed to be the snorkaling and fish feeding because I love fish. I would love a postcard from your family with Donald Duck exspecialy since Donald and I share the same Birthday lol. Stay safe and keep doing what your doing we all apriciate it. -Travis POSTCARD
It's 12 hours and 5 minutes. When Pooh goes to sleep it is obviously night out the window. But when they wake him it is daylight. Don't use Owl as a reference, look at his eye's, he's caffeinated to stay awake. You are awesome, too, Mr. Provost. Your positivity is infectious.
It's the reason why I love Disney! I just started working in DCA and once I'm done with probation, I get 100% tuition free school, books and everything
It would be really nice that receive a personalized post card from the Provost family. I agree with Professor Andrew about the Country Bears and that Pooh bear is number 2. A point for your theory about Pooh sleeping, if you look at the windows behind the party it is showing blue skies like it is daytime. This is Pooh's clock we are talking about so it could be off. This was a really amazing video.
I think it’s 12hours and 5mins BECAUSE that’s a very deep sleep Pooh had in just 5 minutes to be dreaming, I think he nodded off at lunchtime and they woke him up for his birthday at midnight!
You just got back from vacay and you make a video, season it with positivity, and still get a pun or two in. Thanks for your dedication and the positive affirmations, it really does help.
Love y’all so much. Thank you for the personal stories every now and again. The reach outs to those struggling, the Single parent shout out, the Compassionate Friends segment, it helps more than y’all know sometimes. I’d love a postcard, but I’m just happy that I get to see your videos.
Postcard. Thanks so much for posting these videos. We are planning a trip Disneyland next week and I can hardly wait to impress my nieces and nephew with all that I have learned from you. I just hope that I can remember them all. You, Amanda and Myles are also awesome!!
Postcard! Thank you for the kind words! It has been a rough week and I really needed to hear the kind and positive words. I love watching your videos and getting to see your beautiful family.....the Disney stuff is a bonus!
Postcard! We think it’s daytime based on the blue skies and green hills out the window during the party and while owls are nocturnal, I think owl looks a little tired in his rocking chair like someone woke him up 😉 thanks for the fun video!! Now I want some popcorn.
Postcard! This video was amazing Chris! I def learned a few things from it. Also, as a parent who is also a doc. student, I really needed that message in the beginning of the video. THANK YOU for all you do! ♥️
Postcard! This video was wonderful, thank you for the encouragement. You and your family (both personal and professional families) are delightful and amazingly positive. Thank you for all you do 💚
Thank you for your constant positivity. I know it's hard to keep a smile when you have pain in yourself. You and Amanda are a gift to so many with that very smile. Love and gratitude 🙏 ❤ 🤗
Your videos are so refreshing. It’s delightful to see your love of Disney and humanity in general just spill out of you. And yes, I’d love to receive a POSTCARD from your family - what a sweet gesture! 💙💚
Postcard! The popcorn 🍿 cart prop propeller, love that! Always fun to share your cool information with my friends when we visit. Thank you for all you do. YOU are amazing.
Grew up going to DW but taking our 2yo to Disneyland for the first time and for my birthday, next weekend. Been devouring your channel as research. We plan to send ourselves some postcards from the park as a souvenir. Would love to get a postcard from your sweet family 😊 Cheers and Mickey Ears.
thanks for your videos and positivity! i think pooh has been asleep for 12 hours and 5 minutes because it looks light outside. also, owl is sometimes up during the day in the movies and his other friends are not nocturnal, so they would be asleep at midnight. also, pooh is a lazy bear who needs his rest. 😄
@@provostparkpass also….Pooh’s birthday is August 21. the majority of the rainfall totals in socal is between Nov and April. the math adds up! his sleep was really a hibernation!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful message at the beginning of the video. It moved me to tears. You are so positive and that is what makes me love your family and your channel. POSTCARD!
Ahh I broke my arm a couple days ago and I was really upset because my trip is in a couple of weeks, but you kindness in this video really made me feel better. And I’ve also realized that Disneyland is Disneyland and I am gonna have fun either way
Chris, you know sarsparilla is another form of Root Bear. I do like that trail @ DCA. 5 mins on hold to order food ToGo seems like an "eternity!" I knew Figaro was up there, but did NOT know about the poster. Elevator Mickey was PRICELESS. Right back at YA Chris. You, Amanda & Miles make us ALL smile. Thank YOU for your fun journeys!!! Michael T.
This was the beeeesssstttttt!!! And that #5 is a conspiracy and I'm here for all of it!!!!! 🧐🤯🕵🏻♀️👏🏽 Thankful for the positive message Chris! ❤ Proffesor Andrew straight mic dropped 😆
I don't know why, but I just love this guy's energy so much! I'm totally on his wavelength. And we ran into him day before yesterday when coming out of Pirates of the Caribbean I think it was. I was thrilled to recognize him and interrupted a conversation he was having to thank him for all the info I got from his videos before visiting the parks for the first time in 10 years. I told my daughter, that's the first time I've met an internet personality! It was just a really fun experience. Keep doing your thing dude, you are really good at it.
Chris you and Amanda are amazing and you make the world a better place. Thank you for all the kindness you gave. Your videos really help when we are not able to go the Disneyland. You gave us that escape from the real world with a little Disneyland. Thank you. #Postcard
Have you ever noticed the bits of broken up runway trailing off into the bushes behind the airplane in #1 in DCA? It's just one of those magical little details.
Chris, To deduce Winnie the Pooh timeline I say take a look at the window behind Pooh at his party. You will see blue sky and green grass. These colors would only appear if there was sunlight outside. If night the sky would be dark and the grass would have no color. Therefore 12 hours and 5 minutes.
POSTCARD!!! Thank you so much for the encouragement that your channel provides!! You guys are my favorites and my family and I look forward to watching every video of yours!!
Just for the sake of argument and a little banter for you Chris. When you look at the window when they are celebrating Pooh's birthday you can see the hills but it looks a little Grey. That being said I feel that it would also be safe to assume that he slept for 12 hours and 5 minutes. But I feel that both of us could easily argue both sides to this. so there is that. LOL Additionally, I would like to thank you Chris for those words of encouragement in the beginning going to college in my 30's is no easy task. But people like you are what is keeping me going through the toughest parts of it.
Postcard..... Andrew with the cameo appearance. Great argument. Oh and Chris, the spark plugs are cheaper per each than 6 for $6. Gotta watch those unit prices. Awesome video and I love the propeller fact. Popcorn 🍿 cart for the win!
POSTCARD!! Another wonderful volg. Loved all the positive vibes you sent to everyone! AND, I think through Prof. Andrew commentary needs to be a weekly addition to your vlogs. Pooh - Solid number two!! Bwahahahaha!!!!!
It's 12h5m BECAUSE...you can't enter REM sleep and dream after only 5 minutes. Unless you're tripping [pooh stix] on some bad hunny...(which would help explain the hefalumps an woozles scene) P.S. Thanks for the positive vibes!!
