It is important to remember that Kaveh's debt to Dori is his _own_ fault and not Dori's. Kaveh was the one to suggest his deal of providing Mora to rebuild the palace. Dori warned him as well but Kaveh accepted the dangers as he really wanted to complete the palace. In doing so, he eventually loaned money from Dori as he couldn't cover all the expenses. This is how he is indebted to Dori. Dori is not running a charity, plus she's a strict businesswoman - she thinks only in terms of Mora, profits and losses. This is not a wrong thing to do. Alhaitham too only thinks rationally and doesn't care what others think about his decisions. In this case Dori and Alhaitham are very similar. However, in this event Dori didn't inform Kaveh of her plans beforehand and expected him to do as she predicted. Since things didn't turn out as she expected, she's raising interest on Kaveh's loan. The issue here is that it was Dori who was wrong this time, _not_ Kaveh. She's punishing Kaveh due to her _own_ mistake of incorrectly predicting his actions.
considering kaveh's hangout and its ending is rumored to involve dori, i wanna see if that "raising interest" was indeed serious or just a comic relief reaction purpose.
i said it in reply of my own comment but dori funded 100% of the cost, lost that, got 70% back and now is holding kaveh in debt over the 30% with interest rate. every single mora that is interest and NOT going towards that 30% is extra money in her pocket. because the 70% has already been accounted for. she's making MORE MONEY than the palace has costed her, she's actively profiting off kaveh. she is treating kaveh as her insurance company. she got the palace for 70% cheaper and still getting BONUS MONEY from the interest. she's treating kaveh as an insurance company with her as some sort of bank. she is profiting directly from both getting the palace for cheaper AND getting more money do to kaveh's debt was it kaveh's mistake that he pushed through and signed this contract and got himself into his whole mess for his ideals? yes. absolutely is dori adding more to his suffering by taking advantage of the fact that even tho she gets her palace for 30% of the cost to still get even more money to line her own pockets with from him? yes. kaveh's mistake doesnt absolve her of her shady and manipulative practices
Dori is cruel, and kaveh is insanely stupid. Its a recipe for disaster. I hate both of these kind equally. Dori is for obvious reason, ultra capitalism are cruel like that, but kaveh is bloody special. He constantly making terrible life choices, and when the option to get out of the trenches came to him, legally too, he just throw it away just to feel morally superior over semantics difference. Holy hell, I'm impressed by hoyoverse writing. Its hard to make me hate fictional characters like this 😅
She's not a businesswoman, she's a greedy caricature. She runs the black market, sells overpriced crap (poor Laya suffered bc of her actions too) and now this...Yeah, Kaveh's debt is mostly his own fault, but that's not what this event is about. She's literally raising his interest rates for no actual reason which I think really isn't something she should legally be allowed. Her being an actual loan shark should not be justifed by sad backstory as well, just sayin. And hey, she kinda tricked us by not revealing the fact that the Diadem was dangerous (u know, to make sure no one gets hurt from it), like who cares abt other people's suffering when the only thing that matters is mora mora MORA, ME LIKE MORA *yikes * Well at least we finally got some evil rich capitalist representation in the game, but at what cost 😅
One interesting fact if anyone missed it: Wanderer actually pushes kaveh on the right direction during the final match so he can win. Otherwise Kaveh would fly on the opposite direction
This event's conclusion revolves around 3 conflicting philosophies: Idealism, Realism, and Nihilism. Coincidentally, there are 3 people in this event representing each of the 3 philosophies: Kaveh, Alhaitham and Sachin.
@@niernull9562 not only that but if he takes it to hear he has an infinite (presumably) life for the reparations for his actions, so he can act upon Sachin's work.
Surprise Wanderer was rather quiet when Layla was gushing about Mona's work on the Steambird. You would have thought he would be 'Mo-na' happy to either throw shade at Mona or give his 'The Sky is Fake' speech.
It's interesting to hear that Wanderer wrote papers to counter reports about Tatarasuna. Guess we can expect that behavior from him in that Cooking Club from his Birthday Letter. Imagine if someone were to butcher an Udon recipe, he would drop from the sky, saying 'Oh no, U-don'
It's nice to see Candace out of Aaru Village and the desert for once. Given this is pretty much a 'country girl visiting the city' scenario, it's great she have someone to provide some 'i-Dehya' about where to go and what to see in Sumeru City.
Small little thing players might have missed is that if you explored the interior of Alhaitham's house, he has a spatious office on the left facing the exit door. I didnt know ot was there during Alhaitham Story Quest.
Another funny thing that I noticed is that there are three doors in that house (putting aside the main entrance), two of those doors are from studies, and the other one is probably a bedroom; so there’s a small chance that Alhaitham and Kaveh share that room XD
At the end of the quest there was an office or a library you can't explore 'cause entering it trigger the dialog and send you back to the exit. I think is the same room you're talking about, in fact, I came back to finally explore this room in this event. But there wasn't anything really interesting that I remember. Maybe only some text about Alhaitham's books...
This is by far my most favorite event not only my favorite characters are involved but the story and interactions are very good and play with your emotions. That's why I bought the BP with the diadem namecard as remembrance.
I always like what hoyo do to the "antagonists" they released in sumeru. I think what they did to dori is similar to the formula they used when creating wanderer. They created great backstory for them so that we understand why they are the way they were, yet never shove our throat into liking them. Its more like "yeah i dislike those assholes, but hey things wouldn't be fun with menaces like them"
Dori’s obsession with Mora is explained, yes. Why she always scams people to get it is not justifiable. With her talents she could build a trade empire that doesn’t exploit other people
Except over time they're making Wanderer more likeable to us. He's practically Nahida Adopted son at this point. Even signed him up in the Academia as "Hat guy" and doesn't even object to that. Heck, even in the event he does care. From Tighnari and well, Layla in his own view. Honestly. Unlike Dori. Scara has redeeming qualities to him. Dori. Has none at ALL.
Thank you for writing off something that I've been wanting to say. I can't wait for a plot where dori and kaveh finally have a good friendship, and they both overcome things that they personally suffers from.
Dori scheming behind everyone's back is quite the dick move, though not exactly surprising, since she's been doing that in most of her appearances. I still think she's hilarious, though this is one of those many instances where I find it annoying that the story always assumes the Traveler to be low on cash, even when the actual amount goes into the multimillions - I wouldn't have thought twice about paying off Kaveh's debt, or at least getting an estimate of how much he owes Dori. Hell, that would be a hilarious alternative method to recruiting him.
Kaeya has done similar things along with Venti in terms of manipulating you onto a path. I like the idea of paying off his debt that would be kinda funny, though I guess Mihoyo has some plans later with it?
I'm running with the idea that one aspect of traveling with Paimon is fuzzing out your personal timeline: the good side is that you can effectively be wherever and whenever you need, the bad is that some of your inventory isn't stuff you really have just yet.
I feel so bad for Kaveh. He's such a good person and all he gets in return is misery. Also, with each time that Dori appears in a quest I hate her more and more. Truly one of the nastiest characters aside from the Fatui
Dude. That's saying something if she becomes worst than Ei or Wanderer. Because if she never changes than yes. She'll be hated more than Dongo Mommy and Nahida Adopted Son.
@@kison7715 nasty is prob not an accurate word to describe dori. Her action are not as bad as those two and yet she doesn't have a single redeeming quality about her. I guess she's somewhat between annoying and nasty.
@@arnowisp6244 Intention is a big part on how people judge the behaviour of characters. Ei, for all the problems and harm she caused, genuinely saught to do the best she could by the people of Inazuma. She was wrong and misguided about how she went about it but much was born out of her inheriting a role she wasn't really prepared for. She is completely devouted to the people of Inazuma, and willing to die to try and do right by them, even if it is trying to fix her mistakes. The Wanderer, apart from being an asshat, has a relateable reason for why he ended up the way he did and seems, under all his emo, to at least be somewhat remorseful for the evils he did now he knows the truth of his past. Dori's issue is while the things she has done aren't nearly as severe, her reasons from messing with others seem more born out of self interest and greed. Personally I don't hate any of those characters (though the Wanderer does annoy me with his emo). However I definately could see why some would hate Dori more.
Less people may have noticed this but during the last cutscene where Hat guy vs everyone he immediately took the diadem from Layla and held on to it not letting anyone touch it(before Kaveh and merak took it). He may have been observing the other contestant in who will get the diadem then taking it, knowing that it have side effects (which what happened to kaveh). This may the reason he actually joined the last challenge despite not interested on it. I was questioning why would Wanderer joined the last challenge despite not interested in the interdarshan itself (can be seen in the 1st and 2nd challenges) only to investigate matters. I was glad someone pointed this out in twitter cuzzz bruhh if there no reason for him to interfere mean that Wanderer only joined to sh*T with the other contestants
I’ll give Hoyo some credit for making VERY unlikable characters like Dori and Scott (HSR). They at least *try* to write someone like them, despite giving sad lore. I get that Hoyo tried to diverse playable characters that aren’t sweet/sleepy/wholesome UwU type, and I’m all for it (Hoping for playable Dottore) Edit: If Kaveh is in Honkai Star Rail, then his path is either Preservation or Destruction because of his ideology sacrificing himself for others and destroying his wallet lol
Scott is an NPC. Dori on the other hand. I wonder if this is meant to be comedic because the target is Kaveh aka Tragic Comic relief like Kobeni. Because Kaveh has been the butt of Comedic jokes at his expense.
@@mickysaif she was despised by her design too. she is everything that fandom hated makes her the most hated 4-star (arguably even all character) in genshin
Kaveh is the main character in this patch. Even Kaveh stole Baizhu spotlight and people said Kaveh Banner more than Baizhu Banner. This entire update is just for Kaveh. The first time hoyoverse treat 4 stars like a 5 stars, they must loved Kaveh so much. I love Kaveh too ❤
Both Sachin and Kaveh's das had tragic end because of one thing. They already regarded the research results as truth long before the research is completed. They tried to perfect the world by themselves. They sub-consciously believed that there are very few people like them who will dedicate themselves to helping others. They never tried the option of finding like-minded people to do things together and their lives ended in despair and loneliness.
they manage to make dori worse and worse every bit of story we get and that's honestly impressive; yeah her lore is depressing but my GOD the way she ended up. wild. insane. her lore does not excuse it
@KI SON kaveh choosing to still build her a palace with his own money is not a reason to torture his existence with the debt, like idk about you but if i was as rich as dori is and even after loosing money the dude building MY palace still comes up with 70% of the cost and i have full rights over it i would want the 30% back yes but i wouldnt charge fucking interest and keep bleeding him dry. because i got a PALACE out of it. he made a bad decision but dori is still 100% the asshole
The bad decision Kaveh made remind me a lot of the heroine in Lalaland. Sometimes, to pursue their dream, they have to trade off something very very big in order to move forward. However, Mia is the one whose sacrifice lead to success, unlike many others, sacrifice so much but receive nothing. Well not to say Kaveh receive nothing tho, he did successfully build the reowned palace of Alcazarzaray but unfortunately followed by debts. Hopefully, many scholars see the Palace and finally recognize the value of art in architecture just like Kaveh originally wanted. (Well, Alhaitham is already a hopeless case tho lol)
some correction about Dori and Kaveh tldr poor dude did his debt by himself dori didnt give him a ridiculous condition for her mansion project. in fact, she was actually pretty generous. giving kaveh a mansion construction project without limitations so that he could put his all into it. he wanted it to be grandiose and insisted to dori (even though she insisted it doesnt have to) to move the site to a cliff side cause that would provide the owner a beautiful view. dori paid 70% of the project so far and unfortunately was destroyed by the withering. she then decided to “cut loss” demanding kaveh to leave the project, or else she would have to pay more totaling of 170% of original cost. "he couldnt leave it unfinished." *he didnt want* to leave it unfinished. as this was his only chance to construct something that isn't artistically hindered by the akademiya people. kaveh didn't want to end his ideals there so he sold his house. this, plus the remaining funds, and some addition from Dori gave him enough funds to finish the project. as kaveh wanted to fulfill his once in a lifetime dream project, he offered to bear that 70% cost himself. dori took the deal, paid the rest 30% and got the palace with the price of original cost. the finishing even costed him to be in-debt to dori cause he wanted it to be perfect. in the end, his ideals costed him to be bankrupted. but at least, he stuck with it. scr. kaveh character story 4
gosh THANK YOU for bringing this up. people are out here forgetting that it was literally kaveh who scaled up the project from the quiet retreat dori initially was thinking of to the architectural landmark it is now, and wanted to push through with it for the sake of finishing his magnum opus. he made the decision to sell his house and go bankrupt and stuff for it. dori didn't force him into building that super extra palace. i love kaveh as much as the next person and he's a very nice guy, but he's also a guy that sticks to his ideals very stubbornly, even when it causes him so much anguish. we can feel bad for his predicament, but also acknowledge that he is literally putting himself in these situations. and i agree with everyone else that says dori's an antagonistic and shady character, but as one of the few dori enjoyers i have to see the record set straight about dori and kaveh at least.
The thing is Kaveh didin't keep the palace, Dori is. Kaveh basically paid 100% of the cost (yes, 30% is Dori's money, but Kaveh have to paid that 30% back, so it is Kaveh's money) and she still has the gall to put an interest on top of keeping the palace. The least she could do is not put an interest on it as Kaveh basically give Dori the palace for free (after the destruction) rather than paying double the cost for the palace.
When Cyno, Collei and Tighnari were having dinner at Lambda, Cyno attempted a joke with Tighnari. "Did you know that French fries isn't made in France? It is made in 'Grease'." Tighnari stared at him for a while, confused, before asking... "I don't get it. What is... 'France'?"
Sachin thought he was a good person but he was a villain :/ I mean... There's so many ways he could help people, he had so much money, he could at least give that money to people who need it, he could build a hospital, an orphanage and such things all around Teyvat and etc. Yeah, maybe that wouldn't solve all the problems, but as people say "if you want to change the world, then start with yourself" And if he wasn't a some depressed scientist, Kaveh's father would've been still alive
Sachin realized that no matter what he does, he cannot save the world, can't help everyone. Even if he donated all his wealth, it would be menaingless, as far as the big picture goes.
You pretty much missed the point of his character. Sachin realized how utterly meaningless his actions were. He was completely overcome with Nihilism at that point.
@@eeveeofalltrades4780 you're missing the point. Sachin had a Nihilistic view. You saying "even if it doesn't solve everyone's problems" is the cause of his depression. He wants to save everyone not only a select number of people and at the end of his life, he realises that not everyone can be saved and that a good chunk of problems inflicted on humanity are caused by humanity itself. So even if he does end up helping everyone with his wealth, eventually another will get greedy and do something that will fuck someone over, thus continuing the cycle. This is pretty much how the world works whether you like it or not, there will always be people who will exploit others for their gain, unless we become some sort of hivemind in the future, this won't be disappearing.
@@eeveeofalltrades4780 he dedicated 7 years of his life solidly to it, plus theres nothing saying he didn't spend money too. The point is its a black hole due to human nature. He basically gave up because he hit a wall and thought someone else with time or more wisdom might be able to do something he couldn't, he even left wealth and research for them, he gave anyone worthy the best tools but he broke their minds in turn.
Same. I thought only kids, and those with visions can see them, but this confirmed that Aranara are just careful to who they can show themselves to. And tbf, most adults who tried to know about them ended up being up to no good, so no wonder they're mostly wary about adults.
@@Elliellie If I'm not wrong it's more like they only appear to people with a childish side of wonder, similar to imaginary friends as told by venti in his quest or just dreams in general. Also I personally don't know if kaveh's dad even met arasy-something as an adult, he could very well have met the aranara during his childhood. Besides, the sumeru archon quest already gave us an example of an adult seeing the aranara, Haypasia, the green hair girl that was high of her rocker and sent us to irminsul. She saw the aranara after going to irminsul through her dreams, so she got her ability of wonder back.
I'm still wondering if that was really the entirety of Dori's interest. The timing seems off for her to have directly met Sachin, but we don't have details of just what experiments he carried out in the desert, or how long their results outlived his interest - or him, and so Dori may well be intimately familiar with his work. It seems more plausible to me her involvement came from that direction than the idea that she fixated on the Diadem as a shiny object, proceeded from there to research its history far more thoroughly than the Akademiya could be bothered to, decided that their response to being clued in to its being a dangerous object to expose to the public would be to sell it off (which doesn't seem to me to be a likely result), and proceeded with this plan (which actually makes sense at that point).
@@kison7715 Likely what they intended. Comic relief but made her more hated as a result. I know it's comic relief because her target was Kaveh aka Misfortune happens to me as a jole.
@@arnowisp6244 or rather they didnt consider how often simple minded the genshin fandom is, notably kaveh stan, gullibly as he is. resulting her to get hated even more. eh probably yours sound more reasonable
the diadem is described as a very beautiful object (kaveh's an aesthete and he liked it when he was younger) and it has a history of renown. dori seems to like having luxuries and treasures as much as she likes making money too, and the diadem sure as heck wasn't going to be put out for sale for a long time unless the akademiya found something sus about it. i actually thought she wanted to buy the diadem at a low price and then resell it to an interested customer.
I loved this event so much. The characters, the event and participation, the story and plot for Kaveh - which is why I especially like this eveny: it was practically a Kaveh story quest lol It was entertaining, fed my soul with plot, and gave me Kaveh 💚
As a Kaveh fan AND Dori fan, I can say Dori's wrong when increase the debt but again let me tell you, that's her only wrong between Kaveh and Dori Kaveh pay for rebuild is HIS f*cking responsibility and HIS decision, remember when 70% palace destroyed? Yeah, that's HIS responsibility, it's not his fault (50/50) but he HAS to pay for the material, salary,... for that destruction. That's cost a lot of money, but who's money? DORI's!!! She's the one pay for all of that and by Kaveh's decision, they're all gone for nothing so it's Kaveh's responsibility to pay it back. And guess what? Dori don't force him to do that but just ask him to leave the project or I can say: kick him out usually, when someone is one of the reason cause accident as big as this time, they won't allow to continue that project, so Kaveh. Kaveh ask Dori to let him rebuild but ofc she don't, Kaveh continue ask to do because he know that Dori's palace is his only chance to shine (normal client has lots of request and limit usable money that limit Kaveh's talent while Dori let Kaveh do anything he want with a lot of money). And just like the last time, Dori once again let Kaveh do what he want, but this time, Kaveh is the one who pay and he accept. Stop right here, Kaveh doesn't have to do that and no one force him to do that but he, Kaveh, decide it himself. Why would he do something like that? Again, cuz he know Dori is the only one who can give him a chance to shine. Just like Dori said, without Dori, there's no Kaveh of these days, the one who made well-known The Palace of Alcazarzaray Also, Dori usually treat Kaveh good enough as creditor(?): pay his drink when Al Haitham doesn't, allow him to delay the debt a lot of time,... My bad, she treat him too good as a creditor who doesn't have any relationship with Kaveh (friend, family, colleague,...). She can and allowed to treat him worse to force him pay the dept but she didn't. Also delay the debt is not Dori's responsibility but pay the debt on time is Kaveh's responsibility I can't defend her this time but some of you guys talk like she treat him sooo bad when it's not
@@aeroscantsee1665 Yes, Kaveh did all of this to himself but, let me ask you a question. If the palace is 100% paid by Kaveh (the 30% that Dori has to pay is being paid back by Kaveh, so yes, that 30% is also paid by Kaveh), why is the palace is being own by Dori?
Alhaitham once saw a man trying to eat a pocket watch. He commented, with the straight face that he has, 'That was rather time-consuming, and continue reading his book
Kaveh's gullible from how I see it. Sadly, he just had to come across Dori. He should have checked the background of his client first before agreeing or signing any contract or ya know discuss a contract like that with someone trustworthy? As for Dori, well, she's only got sights for mora or whatever it is she has sights on.. not surprising, but i dont care for her, she might as well be greed herself in this game.
It's okay i've been playing since 2.3 and I still miss stuff all the time even in this event. It's just a big game with limited time events and sometimes you're gonna miss stuff and one has to accept that. Just try to get as much as you can and have fun! Don't fret on what you missed because there's always gonna be more stuff, like at least 3-4 years of new stuff ^w^
They AREN'T doing anything nasty, if that's what you're thinking. (And apparently that's what others think, going by the comments I've spotted.) They are sitting NEXT to each other. You can go to Aaru Village and see them for yourself. There's a better view of them when Nahida and the Wanderer show up after talking to Alhaitham.
This event did somewhat show how materialistic and greedy Dori always is. However, it was already shown to us in the beginning when her character was introduced. We just didnt realize it cuz we made jokes on it and even related to her obsession with money. The issue also didnt lie in her but also at Kaveh. Kaveh needs to learn how to appreciate and for once put himself before others. At first I didnt like how AlHaitham was always just rude to Kaveh as well but this event made me realize why. AlHaitham simply cares for Kaveh as a friend, yet dissappointed at how much Kaveh tirelessly does things for the sake of other happiness. Living for the sake of others is tiring and you end up always devaluing yourself.
Well, guess ppl have more reasons to hate dori and loce kaveh. Tbh yeah dori's over doing it. Not a person to be loved even knowing her own saddening backstory
At this rate she'll be hated more than Ei. At least Ei has the excuse of a Horribly written archon quest and literally changing for the better going for Dongo mommy. Dori? Dori has nothing. Even Babygirl has more going for him. Even his adoptive Mommy is helping him as well.
Dori is the manifestation of an irl greedy but successful businessman/woman. You can hate her or love her but it's just the way they made her and they're successful in doing so.
Honestly kind of dissapointed that they weren't that much interaction between Cyno and Wanderer. I was looking forward to Wanderers reaction to Cyno's jokes 😂
Another thing when the Traveller meets up with Sachin’s son. The son’s henchmen were complaining about being ambushed by a flying brat and a kid in green. Could these two be be Wanderer and Tighnari?
My dori is still dead- i threw her off Jade Chamber. Goddamn I haven’t seen such an unlikable character in a while also she is kinda ungrateful af to the Traveler.
To put Dori in a better light: Her original plans would have not burdened Kaveh with debt, but Kaveh being the perfectionist he is increased the scope of the project to such a degree that it resulted in him trapped in his debt. He is gullible to such a degree that one does not even have to have malicious intentions of scamming him, he does it on his own
Interesting perspective, Kaveh is pretty self destructive and he leaps into situations impulsively and leads with his pride. He is his own downfall just like me :D
This is true if Kaveh got the palace, which doesn't happen. Dori here basically got the palace for free here as her contribution is reduced to zero because of the weathering and even the 30% she paid for the second round will be paid back by Kaveh.
It's a character I love to hate. And that's the same reason Dori is one of my favourites. They don't hold back on making her as despicable as possible. Her characterization is similar to Heimdall from Ragnarok.
Honestly how Twitter idiots reacted to her it made me like her more, I loved her design from the get go. But seeing these idiots get all upset over her even though she isn't real and there is more important stuff just makes me want to like her. Plus tbh shes a good representation of what I'd expect a true capitalist to be. The real ones are worse due to Late Capitalism though.
People dont seem to understand this but Dori is supposed to be half comic relief and half an actual business woman. The debt Kaveh received is HIS fault and her making her payments more punctual and interests higher is half a joke and half actually due to impulse for her plan not working out. She’s just out here trying to make money like anybody who runs a successful business. She was the commissioner of the Palace and paid for basically 100% of it while the 70% that got destroyed by the Withering was replaced by Kaveh’s own money and thats how he got into debt despite Dori’s warnings. She isnt his life coach and she cant control his life. Kaveh WILLINGLY made that decision to go into debt. I dont see how she’s anymore evil than any of the merchants in Sumeru. Hell, if we make a much better comparison, she’s basically Ninguang without the fancy Jade Chamber and Liyue Qixing position. People calling Dori one of the “worst poeple in Sumeru ever” is basically ignoring the dumb Sages who tortured potentially thousands of people, Dottore and Scaramouche who endangered/threatened the lives of people by making Gnosis powered mecha weapons, and all the other Merchants who literally want to bring back a dead corrupted god. But yeah, lets villainize the lady trying to do normal business.
The thing is Kaveh didn't keep the palace. Dori only paid 30% (130% including the withering destruction), charge an interest on Kaveh's debt, and still keep the fucking palace. If Kaveh either didn't got an interest on his debt (or hell Dori just waived the debt away because Dori only paid 130% of the cost rather than 200%) or Kaveh get the palace but have to pay the debt including interest, not a lot of people will mind it, but nope, she got the palace and a lot of money because of Kaveh's interest.
@@amirunsyafiq No no, thats not what happened. Dori COMMISSIONED Kaveh to build a palace for her of which she was going to pay for all the resources and he just had to make the plans, the details, the decorating etc. This type of thing is akin to a art commission where your effort is being paid for in money but you dont keep the artwork much less own it. The issue here is that Dori paid for the initial 70% that was built and then run over by the Withering Zone. She insisted on calling off the project because reinvesting money into it was not cheap. She was even the one that was convinced by Kaveh to build the palace so close to a Withering Zone in the first place. But Kaveh’s artistic vision and the fact that he felt he had nothing else to lose in his life, insisted on finishing the project of which Dori basically said she’s only paying for the remaining 30% that she wouldve paid anyway. The other 70% that was destroyed had to be paid by Kaveh and he went and sold his home and stuff and got himself in debt. She basically paid 100% of what she wouldve paid and told Kaveh to get the money for the destroyed 70%. In the end, this is still her palace because she paid for a majority of it and Kaveh was the one who willingly invested his own money in it.
dude thank god for explaining and summarizing the event story. expecting mroe of theese in the future so im not pressured to read every long ass dialogues
I swear if you enter my world and take my mourning flowers to make a profit while taking my bloom cores for hyperbloom while staring at me i'm gonna push you to an electro abyss mage and see how you'll heal yourself then.
Have you seen sometimes some actors or famous people or politician are invited in programs where they don't even suit, it's probably for similar thing. Nilou is probably invited since she is small idol level dancer/character and thus it will help to give event publicity
