Can you please talk about your process of how the clients choose the colours and such. Do you give them ideas to choose from or do you have backdrop photos online for people to choose from? The few I’ve done recently I more so style the shoot, but just kinda wondering what your process looks like because sometimes you say things like “they requested this and this” and I’m just like.. how!! Lol ! Do you let parents dress their own kids? What if they wear obnoxious patters or something that doesn’t look right with the backdrop the parents want etc. Thankyouu
I am looking to start doing cake smash photography and I ran into your great videos! Thanks! What a pity I lived in The Netherlands for 2 years but now moved to Switzerland, otherwise I would have loved to take a workshop or course with you.... In the meantime, I will look at your other videos as well. Thanks a lot for sharing them!

FENNA! You're amazing! I'm restarting my life in Switzerland and just started working as a photographer. I'm trying to figure the thing out to be a good one, because I'm already passionate about it. Would like to know about newborn courses (if you can please send me recommendation) and what soap you use in the bathtub session. Thanks a lot and keep going with this kindness and professionalism! You really inspire me!
Absolutely love your videos! I've been binge watching all day. Could you do a video on your favorite place to get backdrops? I'm starting to spruce up my studio and would love recommendations on backdrop venders! Thank you for your videos.
Thank you for watching even though you don't understand all my English. I will ask my husband to maybe add subtitles in Spanish in some of my new videos. It seems like quite a lot of work to add subtitles though. Or is there an easier way to add subtitles?
Love all your videos. I am learning so much from you. Is there any way you can list the names of your backdrops or where you got them from? Thank you, Love it :-)
You are amazing... I am from India, loved your video. Its very informative and your attention to the detail is spot on. Thank you for the overview, it's been great help
Hello from Canada! Love this video! I am trying to start doing photography and I want to do a cake smash for my daughters first birthday next month! What size are your backdrops? Where do you buy your plain coloured backdrops (do you know of any websites to look at in USA/Canada?
My backdrops are usually 2 meters wide and about 3 meters long. I have some which are 2 meters long, but I prefer them to be a bit longer. I order mine from a Dutch website (www.fotoachtergronden.nl), but they only ship to the Netherlands and Belgium. I'm hopefully reviewing some backdrops soon from a well-known backdrop vendor who ships worldwide. It'll be a separate video!
Hi Fenna, just recently started doing newborn photography and found your videos! Love your content! Where do you get your banners for your cake smashes from? Thank you, Danielle
Hello! Quick question, what do you do to your paper white backdrop after the cake smash? I really like the white backdrop but just don't really know what to do.
And??? What's wrong with parents celebrating a baby they take care of 🙄 its actually sad if you have no birthdays growing up because you won't have pictures of it later and your parents won't have memories with you
@@Latte-girly90 I have tons of videos and pictures celebrating birthdays, but they involve eating the cake, not smashing it. A baby will always get a little cake on their face, which is cute, but why portray them acting like an animal? A baby is not a little puppy dog.
@@JohnJones-qy5ko but wasn't your birthday still for your parents since you don't remember it? and someone probably did make money off it because it cost money to throw a party. Even if you just buy cheap stuff
@@Latte-girly90 The difference is that with this type of party, the child is encouraged to behave like an animal and everyone laughs at them. Sure, adults do this too, like at a wedding where the bride and groom may smash wedding cake in each other's face, which takes away from the dignity of the celebration. People laugh at all of these things in the same way they laugh at a person slipping on a banana peel. Not funny.
