The best mechanical pencil for deawing,is Pentel Graphgear 500 (0.5mm). The best for school,is Pentel Twist erase III. The best for writing and everyday use,is the Pentel Kerry .
Try to use better quality water,like those spring water in bottles we can find everywere. Home water contains chemicals and dirt, I wouldn't even call it water! Both watercolours and you,will work better if you use better water.
