It's because that has been pretty common knowledge since "Fast Food Nation" hit the shelves. Not only that but after getting the pushed into their brains repeatedly at school, the younger generations have started considering it background noise. Ya know? Living in Taiwan, I can tell you that no one here call the tapioca pearls "boba". They are called 珍珠 (zhenzhu) from the name of the small pearls he mentionned. Then when the big ones arrived, they started to call them boba as it means in Chinese "big boobs" but now they are back to call them zhenzhu.

You can develop adhd. It’s a “disorder” which is inherently present in everyone. In short that study talks about how sugar drinks hype children up making them more restless because of the sugar itself being an activator. Personally I am a firm believer in what Russian system propagates and that is that adhd is not something you need to worry about unless it become extremely deprecating. When making boba, you shake your milk and tea together until frothy (I use re-purposed frappiccino bottles to shake it in, but a lot of people use a cocktail shaker) and the end result makes a nommie foam on top. You don't usually see it in places that use premade mixes because the milk protein is damaged during the process of making the mix, but in a "fresh" version, well go shake a jug of milk... HTH :D
