I grew up in Norwood.. ask me anything.. I know every nook and cranny about that place..... I've partied in those over passes you showed, old tunnels.. also used to party in the now closed up subway tunnels under the old Zumbial Box plant right next to Water Works Park (Shea Stadium)... I know areas of that town that nobody knows about unless you're in your 80s and 90s.. the police and city council don't even know about these areas to this day... some are within the city limits and others are just right outside and very hidden.... I've spelunk the drainage tunnels and other tunnels over near Oakley.. I walked the drainage ditch/tunnels all the way up to Madeira and Milford to other spots to party off of Woosrer Pike..,... I know my grandparents spots to party when they were kids which are still there to this day.... very hidden areas but I keep those spots to myself.. was down there drinking a few beers just last summer by myself.. We were partying kids.. we liked to explore the little tiny city and look for new places to drink beer and have a good time and play some music..

We had a list of 33 items to choose from including the GM Plant and the Bicycle Paying Card factory. We chose not to use those two for this video as most people knew about those two sites. However, we do plan to shoot one if not two more similar videos in Norwood and plan to use both of those sites. Thanks for the suggestion!

My hometown. Loved the drone footage of The former Mount St. Mary’s Catholic Seminary which has been lovingly remodeled now called Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Conference Center. I am so glad someone stepped up to preserve something of such significant and serious historical value. I lived right around the corner as a child and it was always shrouded in mystery. I longed to go inside to see what was hidden there. I finally got my chance recently. It is open to the public for tours as its being used as a retreat and conference space. Fantastic architecture, artwork and gardens. A hidden gem in the middle of Norwood for sure.

Ah Norwood. So historic, so gentrified. Grandparents and great grandparents lived for over 50 years on Elsmere, cousin went to that Williams street elementary, mom went to Norwood high. Still remember when showcase cinemas was there off paddock, and Gold Circle was across from what used to be John Nolan Ford. I think one neat thing you missed on was the original home of the Bicycle Playing Card company there off Kenilworth and Beech. Parents were even married at the Immaculate Conception church!

Graffiti is vandalism. Vandalism is a felony. I wish more younger folks understood that. Vandals, especially those who deface historical artifacts including buildings, structures etc, should be dealt with harshly - financial restitution, community service and in some cases, incarceration. Once historical artifacts have been defaced, they can never regain their original patina. Sorry to be a wet blanket, but it's true, and I'm sure many will agree. Thanks for video. Fascinating.

There is a section of Norwood with some truly awesome old houses. Some of them are being brought back to life, but a lot are rental properties and losing their beauty (tis the case in most of Cincinnati). Come on billionaires! Spend some of that $ in Cincinnati and restore all of the structures that our people poured blood, sweat, and tears over in the area's hay day!
