@@josephparker5312 , One of the things not to say to a girl, you just did. Learn and be careful. Melannie is a great teacher and coach for friendships and relationships!
I once told my girlfriend " you sound like my father " . Since I was refering to some of the things she said that were just observations , nothing negative , she took it as a positive remark. You have to look at the context , comparing someone to a family member is not automatically negative .
Oh my goodness Melannie...watching that, I was cringing, laughing, and at points, just totally shocked [that a guy would even think to say that]! Your facial expressions and side comments were...absolutely hilarious! 🤣 I’ve got my notes!
Yes! Please make more videos about what to say and not to say. I’d also recommend addressing the tone used so that it matches what you’re trying to say.
I call my friend Sweet Lila and she is fine with that as her friends called her that. That is my pet name and it worked for me but other women may not like that. I end with conversation at nites with sweet dreams and Love and light. I have told several girl friends that I love her green eyes as my dad had green eyes and that is endeavoring to me. None have taken that as an insult and they liked it. I am just being real and sweet and all these things were appreaciated . My ex used Belittling terms and I never say anything that is a put down to any women. I did say that to a friend of mine that she reminded me of my ex but the friend already told me she had no interest in being more than friends with me. I would never say that to someone I want have a relationship with.
My wife hates even when another female uses terms like honey and sweety to her . So she really doesn't like when another man says that . I have noticed women are guilty of this also . Many times waitresses will use this and nurses also . It bothers my wife when a waitress or nurse or another woman says it to me also . It happens a lot . Together we both have experienced this from our waitress when out to eat . I told my wife don't feel special they talk this way to all their customers .
Yes! You know, some of these are pretty obvious to me; however, I have to say that I have heard many guys talk like this to woman...a LOT, and every time I hear them talk like that it makes me cringe. It's good to have my own understanding about this validated though.
Hello Melannie, Yes, I want to see and hear other videos on what to say to women. You may have more information on what not to say to women also. Thank you very much for sharing. God bless you and have an amazing day! In Christ, Jonathan S. 😄

I would always ask my ex how her day was, and it was always so depressing, i literally stopped caring, because i couldn’t understand why she kept putting up with the BS..AITA?
Yes! I have known this lady for a lot of years. I was a boss yesterday. It was a very hot day in Texas yesterday. The temperature was around 100 degrees. But it did not stop me. I wore khaki pants and a dark shirt. After the date she ask me why I dress up. I told her that I wanted to dress to impress. I did of what you have been talking about in your You Tube videos. My glasses are very sharp with the transistant lenses. I also bought a citizen eco drive watch. There will be another date with this lady. Thank you Melannie for all you do. God bless you and family. Stay well and safe. Have a great evening.
What about if she is clearly a bit nervous and self conscious about eating on the date. Is it ok to try and help her relax a little and just be herself? ❤️ your channel btw.
Hi Coach Melannie!! YES!! more videos like this. Sometimes we do more harm than good with our words. Very impressive how you said all the 10 things in a pretty and tactfully way. You earn 5 of 5 brownie points for each thing you said, 50 BROWNIE POINTS, PERFECT SCORE!!!
Something a woman shouldn't do (but most do anyways): Playing 'hard to get' and acting as if she doesn't care about a guy who's crushing on her. I don't know if they realize this.but it's also hurtful to the guy.....
Now I understand why my wife of 40 years seems to hate me half the time. NOBODY!! Taught this stuff in rural Ohio to me. I guess violated about 60% of her no-no's, even these days!
Thank you Melanie for your illuminating video. I have to admit to committing your point 2 error. That of asking /telling a woman whom I wanted to see, by giving out my phone number /email address, then wondering why they never took up my offer! I now understand your reasoning and will in future ask for their number!
I was about to call the girl that is my friend a sweetheart. Thanks for telling me I would of made a terrible mistake I also made the second mistake by comparinga girl to my ex. I dont know her that well I'm glad you told me not to say that. Wow your really helpful thanks my friend! 👍
Melanie when you were growing up you said that you had curly hair you didn't know what to do with it and some people were unkind to you about it the real truth was they knew that you had an interview today about yourself that you were so courageous and beautiful with inside that you didn't even care on the outside it really doesn't matter at this point because you've grown up to be a swan absolutely gorgeous beautiful young woman with a lot about herself and a big heart willing to share her experiences with others in my book you are an amazing young woman stay sweet stay safe and thank you for educating all of us😎😎😄🤗💖
Ooops...... I've said the last one to women several times 😵 I said it for two reasons:- it was true, and to make them feel better about themselves. Oh well.... I'll know for next time!
Wow! Thank you for this video Coach Melanie! I committed the sin(no pun) of saying "I will leave my # vs. asking you for yours. No pressure! You can call me if and when you like" since I saw it as a form of reverse psychology: Women might view asking them for their # as a form of not respecting her privacy. But...thank you for informing me!
"Never underestimate a woman...." Unless you're talking about her weight or her age. 😁 I once embarrassed myself complimenting a Hollywood actress about her talents. 🤣

@@CoachMelannie okay I will coach Melanie.... you've taught me a lot already you're a godsend... toxic girls which are easy to pick up at do absolutely nothing for you in the long run they can't I get along with themselves.... it's just a lot of good information you've given that certainly helps me and many others as well
Don’t mention what she’s eating??? Idk I catch her shovel food in her mouth , I gotta say something, that’s unnecessary she’s not even barely chewing it ! But thanks for ur videos, I like them
I made the "Why are you worried about (what someone else said or did)"? She kept coming to me with a beef list, and I always tried to give a Tell them this, response. She eventually was ticked; "I'm just dumping my (uglies) to get it off my chest" "I don't *need* advice, Sheesh".
My fellow NCO friend, whom I've spoken of before, recently told me she feels like I'm the only guy who really sees HER. She's very attractive, so it doesn't surprise me that all the young guys can't get past her looks to see what really makes her an awesome person. So it really is quite important to see her as a whole person and not just eye candy.
Although I agree with most you say there is one exception in this video . It seems to me that the use of “‘pet names” tends to depend on certain areas of the country . For example , I have never been called sweetie , honey , darling , sugar etc. so much until moving to the south . Not have I used those so much before . If I had called a woman sweetie where I used to live I could probably expect a slap for talking down to her. Where as here it’s a normal part of life and to my mind a devaluation of the terms .
She constantly says she is fat and she is. I compliment her body still. I did ask one time how much weight have you lost. So I noticed she lost weight. I dont think that is wrong.
