Thsnks for your video but you made very complicated in some points while it is not anyway, Im working as an uber driver and i meet a lot of tourists and the are enjoying their time here in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 You are all welcome to visit our beautiful country ❤️
I would love to visit Saudi Arabia. It's sad that somehow various groups of people have demonized Saudi Arabia. From what I've seen and read, it seems like a beautiful place with people as eager to learn about us as we're eager to learn about them.
Things i have questions about- "Don't take pictures of women" why only women ? You shouldn't take pictures of ANYONE without permission. "Don't clap on the but" - This should not be okay anywhere not only in Saudi Arabia.
@@jordanmartinez8287 is not appropriate even in western country to take picture of random strangers 😂. But I thought he was referring to people that are in the picture not on purpose, maybe you are taking a photo of a square and the are people around, that will end in your picture 😅. But maybe I'm wrong...
He is referring to a couple slapping each other on the butt, not random people. That would be considered sexual harassment in most civilized countries.
because pics taken of women are usually for creepy reasosn and there's a culture of it in every country as well as sxual abuse etc. it shouldn't have to be spelled out.
As a Saudi thank you so much for your visit and here are some points that you may have found too restrict when they are not: First, holding hands actually you can hold your wifes hand only, women are too restrict with Islam so most of them are all covered and some dont cover their face and in islam you are only allowed to stay with your wife if not a girl from your family, sometimes and ok to stay in a meeting with a girl talking about business or some kind of work relationships and no girlfriends at all, doing drugs or drinking alcohol is very forbidden is saudi arabia like it can get you to atleast 5 years in prison + a very big fine, also another point is stealing in Saudi Arabia if you steal something the government will cut your hand 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for your video! Just getting boarded to go there! Going there with an open minded and for sure common sense and respect. The basics things in my opinion to enjoy travelling
I have lived in Saudi for many years. Only some restaurants close and depending on your nationality you can drink if you want as its available legally. The benefits of working in Saudi are not imaginable to most westers as its Epic brilliant. Being free from crime and politics is under rated. Women are respected and safe unlike in Europe. Saudis and all Gulf nationals are amazing. But there is a class system and being American or British does get you ahead in life.
Am living in Saudi Arabia for 2years and most of the rules are removed like shop closed when they pray or restaurant not anymore now for woman if you don't what to wear adaya you don't have to
Well, the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (Arabic: هيئة الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر) aka the Mutawa who, when I was there in the 80s ,used to walk around and not be at all coy about whipping people on the spot, might or might not want you to show some proof of it. And still not be happy with you doing it. My main 'don't' recommendation for the bloody country is 'don't visit it in the first place'. Where's the fun in visiting a place with so many prohibitions?
This rule is only enforced if you break into someone’s house and steal something extremely valuable, petty theft or shoplifting doesn’t warrant that punishment
No smoking, alcohol or drugs, to some that might be a deal breaker but to someone who loathes all those things n has experienced knowing people who do those things that’s like a blessing 😂…at least it is to me , who says you need any of those to have a good time ?
as a saudi i"ll say that the 9th point isn't soooo true, that could make the gest imparisd if he didnt have mony to bring something. so yes it's not a good thing to make it a rule.
Hello! In flying to Saudi Arabia very soon, and I am bringing e-liquids with me (6 bottles) will I be in trouble in customs? There is no helpful information on the internet…
I like Saudi Arabia but like by the time I get there, I would be already arrested by the I even touched the soil 😂 I would be confused easily and forgetful
Dont hold hands when you are with your male friend. Dont stare at the womans face covering even if it looks like a sheetmetal moustache. Yeah they have such things there.

Caught with possession of captagon, which is an illegal substance in Saudi Arabia--prepare to be arrested, jailed, and get flogged! Yes! Just like they do in Singapore, a flogging, but not with the rattan cane on your buttocks, but instead, with a cat-o-nine tail on your back. But it will HURT when you get lashed in the Kingdom. So don't import captagon!
If you travel there during the month of Ramadan, don’t eat or drink anything in public during the fast. Not only is it disrespectful, but it can land you with a big fine and possible jail time.
This applies to your country and the West. They claim personal freedom, and when they see an Arab Muslim wearing modest clothing, they harass him. When they come to Arab countries, they demand their personal freedom in clothing, and the truth is that the Arabs grant them Watch Cristino
The other point is that some of this video is not true. The couple can hold hands on the topic of women staring. Our religion, Islam, prohibits a man from following his instinct like an animal, forgetting his mind, and engaging in adultery, which leads to the breakup of families and diseases. But also, when you stare at someone, it's normal for them to feel nervous about you. Some people feel threatened or harassed, or that he will do something! Is this something innate in humans? Where is the prison for this? Drugs and alcohol, do you think it's prison too? That's funny. Previous scientific studies of religion have proven that it causes diseases in the body. Thank Saudi Arabia for preserving your body. It also causes the disintegration of families and increased crimes! If you are in the habit of doing this, we don't want problems in our country. Personal freedom, such as what you demand in your freedom. Finally, Mecca Point is inherently sacred to Muslims, like any other religion. It has its own sanctities. Christians do the same thing. They have their own church. No Muslim may enter. All religions work on the same topic? Tell me where there is a prison, but Saudi Arabia is not a prison. There are more than 10 million foreigners who come often! I hope you learn from Saudi morals
As for the issue of women, you also have no right over men to photograph them. Sometimes a person is photographed in order to laugh at someone or bully him, or publish pictures of this person with the intention of laughing at him or exposing him, and for this there is a law! I see these are human rights, so why does that bother you?
The same applies to the West. The Arab does not go there, or the Muslim calls on the West for personal freedom, and when the Arab goes, they harass him because of women’s modest clothing, while the Arabs who know freedom do not demand modest clothing from the West.
The issue of alcohol and drugs is scientifically harmful to the body through family separation. Thank Saudi Arabia for preserving your health, and also ask for your freedom. This is the personal freedom of the country. Look at his beloved Cristiano, how do you live?
It is permissible for spouses to intertwine What is strange about Mecca? It is specific to Muslims, like other religions, which have special sanctuaries and churches that Muslims do not enter. It's funny that you are surprised that every country has its own customs
let ppl go wherever they want.. plus this country is amazing yall americans js used to alcohol and drugs, genuinely sad that yall cant live like normal humans💀
The same applies to your country, and the West has arrived. It claims personal freedom, and when it sees a Muslim it is racist against it on the occasion of the West. They often feel comfortable in Arab countries, so they are not forced to wear modest clothing or anything else?
1- it’s ok to eat with your left hand, it’s up to you, no one will force you 2- holding hands is ok! 3- some places close when it’s time to pray, and some don’t 4- bringing a gift when you visit someone is a good thing but not necessary.
But don't show your soles of the feet to anybody. The feet's soles are the dirtiest part of a person. And of course, all women there MUST WEAR A HIJAB, even if you are not in a mosque (or "masjid"). If you don't, the Mutawwa will harass you physically until you comply. You could even be arrested. The prohibition of going to Mecca and Medina if you are not a Muslim or a Muslim-Pilgrim (especially in times where the Kingdom hosts the famous "Hajj") had been there in the Kingdom for years. The reason for this prohibition is to help prevent religious conversion to some other religion other than Islam (which is known as proselytization, which is illegal there).
Its really a must for someone to learn a country's dos and donts before visiting that country. Not only knowing its cultures and traditions, but also respect them. You will be welcome wherever you go if you behave appropriately ❤
Respect is two way street. How can you respect a theocratic country run by a absolute monarch that still executes people for questioning their religious myths?
Things aren't always so simple. Using that rationale one could argue if we visited Nazi Germany in the 30s we should all shut up and respect their local culture rather than call out the bad behaviour when we see it.. In reality, Saudi Arabia is a totalitarian state. it is a theocracy, not a democracy. It's monarchy is inherited. It's rulers steal their own country's wealth to buy themselves exotic car collections. And if any Saudi criticizes them too much, the royal family kills them. So just shut up to fit in? Or maybe push back a little so people living there might have future hope for a better life.
@@mydogsbutlerperfectly legitimate and agreeable points. We shouldn't ignore anything we deem backwards - how anyone can support women's rights and gay rights, and then ignore their plights in another country is horrible. The same goes for Dubai
hello i would like to correct about some thing like you can holdhand if you are a husbend and wife or friends , also don't bring gift when someone is inviting you you can gift him by answring his invite and come to his how saudis love dhiafa or hospitality becuse it's used to be a thing arabs world that when we invite someone the guest most feel comfort and happy and the host most make him a coffee tea and a meal mostly diner meal , my point is don't bring a gift you are the gift if you came when someone is invite's you
This is a longer explanation and possible corrections of these 10 things 1 - This should apply to every islamic country and every muglim woman, You should NOT even stare at women if your a guy, You should abstain from looking at them unnecessarily, Quick looks shouldnt be a problem however do make sure you dont look at inappropriate parts, And same goes with unnecessarily and innapropriately talking. (KEEP IN MIND THIS ONLY APPLIES TO GUYS) 2- MOST places are closed temporarily during prayer time, No its not disrespectful or something rather they dont want to lock you in the place so they ask you to leave, They close the shop to basically say "We arent available at the moment" 3 and 4- Yes, Drugs and alcohol is STRICTLY against the law of saudi arabia, This would lead you to very dangerous consequences including a death penalty 5- Mecca is simply not allowed for nonmuslims, Dont try to sneak in there because it would be very disrespectful and very silly/goofy of you, and once again this will lead to consequences 6- Yes, No showing public relationship love, Holding hands (not illega) i would say is rare but i wouldnt say people were to mind. But i recommend still abstaining from doing so 7- Yes, In islam its a sin to eat with your left hand and plus, eating with your right hand shouldnt be a unusual thing so please do eat with your right hand, No this isnt illegal nor really disrespectful but its something you should learn regardless if your muslim or not, in saudi or not 8 is already explained 9- This once again should be applied to your regular life, Gifts really make us feel happy! ESPECIALLY By tourists! 10- This goes with all muslims and all countries. Both the government and the people are extremely nice, sadly tho Western media feeds many people false propaganda. Our government has done amazing things to help tourists and our own people Extra note: please dont get too worried or feel too restricted when visiting saudi, I believe you should already know by now that most of this should be basic morality and do know that even if you do something a bit culturally unusual or disrespectful, Us saudis will most likely not feel offended as we can tell you are tourists and visitors, If you have saudi friends they will also probably kindly correct you.
1) true for both men and women we value our privacy and our laws and regulations reflect that although most men won't mind it but if someone asks you to delete the footage after you filmed them even if it was in public you must comply 2) kind of true there is no laws that prohibit it but you are in a muslim country so the owner and workers of the shop are most likely muslims which means they most likely will close shop for 20-30m to go pray and come back but some shops don't close during prayer time and you can ask the workers before hand if they will close and if you can stay inside if they close during prayer 3 + 4) true and think of it as a chance drop this bad habits since both are bad for you body and mental health 5) true mecca is visited by millions of muslims every year for religious stuff so we can't let non muslims in since it's already crowded 6) holding hands is ok but remember you are visiting a modest conservative religious country so be mindful. 7) you can use Cutlery (silverware) but if you will use your hand then you need to wash them and use your right hand 8) it's ok if you are with your homies but generally butting your feet at someone's face is not polite 9) it depends on the occasion some times you bring nothing some times you bring some sweats but in general it's not a big deal since in our traditions the host is the one who is obligated to bring the food / coffee etc. 10) truuuuuuuuuuue I hope you will visit saudi arabia and see it's beauty from historical and traditional areas like the southern regions and many other historical areas to the modern cities like Riyadh and Jeddah and sorry if there any linguistic mistakes I'm still learning English
Ur over but the important is to not photograph women , alkouhoul ,going makah and ur not muslim the rest of them its ok like comee on its not a big deal to feel unrespected from the way he's sitting
