Ellen Degeneres should've been on this list for making the infamous comment about "feeling like a prisoner" in her multi-million dollar mansion during the Covid Lock Downs. During the Lock Downs, many of us, including her own talk show staff, couldn't visit our families or go to work to pay the bills, yet she had the nerve to complain while she's sitting on millions of dollars. Other than the behind the scenes drama of her talk show, that was the moment when many people lost complete respect for Ellen.
None of us could visit our families Did you have someone die from COVID? Did you lose your business? Everyone did it hard during lock downs. Stop making it all about you.
If you’re talking humblest celebs. You have to mention Dave Grohl. Dude, just earlier this year spent like 16 hours grilling BBQ for homeless people in LA.
As the wife of someone who had a way better life growing up than I did but occasionally tries to downplay it just to look cool 🙄, I appreciate David taking his wife down a few pegs. I use to feel guilty when I called it out but it’s like listening to a classmate brag about getting the same good grade you did on an exam when you studied but they bought the damn answer key.
I don't think Ramsay's story was tonedeaf or entitled; it's the listeners' fault for misunderstanding and not watching the entire interview. Ramsay was a young, self-made, successful Chef...why wouldn't he have a nice car before he has his own home? Most young successful persons buy a car before they buy a house. His wife's family is rich, his was not. Not entitled at all.
Actually that was her stupid idiot older sis Kim. Boy she was so freaking stupid for that "interview" when her and the other fools went for that photoshoot
@@amiel1703 It's a pretty loose definition of "celebrity," first of all, and second, most current GOP pols are sure acting like they're celebrities instead of legislators. Looking at you, Boebert and Tr*mp.
Keanu Reeves, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Pratt are definitely the most humbling men. Helen Mirren, Letitia Wright, Emma Watson, Geena Davis, Sandra Bullock, Amy Pohler, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johanson Julia Andrews and Maggie Smith are no doubt the most humbling ladies around. Edit: Sorry about that, everyone. Just thought I would make some decent update into this comment right here
I’d replace Chris Pratt with Mark Cuban. You’d be surprised to know that he doesn’t flash his money around like most Business Executives & Owners, and that he’d rather wear Normal Clothes & Eat Simple Meals at Restaurants than your Typical Celebrities. Those people are a lot more Humble & Respectful than others.
@l-wolverine2211 What about Hugh Jackman? I heard that this actor is very humble, too. Especially when he admits his own faults or flaws that even he may have to deal with.
Things that seem so middle class oriented are becoming a luxury these days, such as week long vacations and traveling, owning a cottage or getaway home, owning brand new good furniture and dining ware, having a savings/retirement account with money in them, even owning a home period. If your in your 30s or 40s and have these things your doing better then most.
I haven't left my state in 17yrs. My mom somehow flies to Vegas every month for 4 days still. We used to go on vacation every year hitting the south. My vacation is a night in the big city or a night in the mountains.
@@safahmie same here. I haven’t been on a really trip in 16 years. I’ve been saving money over the last decade and I’ve decided to delay any vacations a little longer so I can open my own business and make some real money. I’ve had enough being a wage earner.
I think the truly unforgivable thing about the "Imagine" stunt was that for some reason no one could stay in in the same goddamn key as the last person...
Dave Ghrol is probably one of the most most humble people in Hollywoo.... To be honest I think he just likes making music. The money is just a nice asset
I personally believed that the Gal Gadot should not be on here for a few reasons, 1 John Lennon sang it and no one said anything about it like they did with this, and 2 they was trying to do something good during the pandemic.
Because she's sitting in a mansion, surrounded by wealth and opulence, singing a song that decries materialistic possessions. Y'all are plain ignorant if you don't understand why that whole shtick was disrespectful.
I agree, also this one is a little different. Sure it was a Porsche but it wasn't like the others. He wasn't making excuses or trying to be above other's. He knew he had to sell the car to get what was needed.
As a chef myself I cannot stand watching him. No Chef should ever treat staff like that. We always had decorum and respect for everyone in the kitchen.
Celebrities can't imagine having no "possessions" because they're used to being rich. If they lost everything, struggling would be a new thing to them. Enough said.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 9:03 I didn't know Victoria's family was really rich, up until I watched that video. I thought her nickname 'Posh Spice' name was given only because she looked like someone who came from a rich family. 🤣
Here are my picks for most humble celebs. 1. Johnny Depp 2. Keanu Reeves 3. David Beckham 4. Hugh Jackman 5. Aaron Paul 6. Tom Hanks 7. Michael J. Fox 8. Chris Evans 9. Emma Stone 10. Mark Hamill
People upset about a bunch of rich people singing "imagine", but had no problem getting the intent from Lennon who was worth tens of millions in the 70s when he sang it.
I know, right?! I didn't get that one either, except that it wasn't a very good version of the song. There was another going around of "What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love" that was way better.
my dad had a Mercedes-Benz, traveled a lot and owned luxury watches during the 70s to early 90s, but growing up still had part time jobs and work at the same time. having a Rolls Royce in the 80s doesnt mean she wasnt a working class at one point. people think im rich when i tell them my dad's past.. people reacting too much again..
What does "entitled" mean nowadays anyway? When I was growing up, "entitled" means something we deserved like we were "entitled" to better pay because we worked hard or "entitled" to a reward for winning a contest or something. Now, it seems like "entitled " means something different. Something negative.
That comment also made me realize that Victoria was "Posh Spice" way before joining The Spice Girls. By the way, when I was a kid, my dad's car was a Toyota Camry😆😆!
You know who else had a lot of possessions? John Lennon 🙄 Sometimes people just look for any excuse. Also, how do you know those celebrities didn’t donate in addition to putting together that song?
Most humble celebrity, I'd say Carol Alt. I've interviewed her twice in my career as a journalist and both times she was so down to earth, I felt like I was talking to a friend not conducting an interview. She also asked me questions about my life too, which was very nice. Yvonne Elliman was the same way. ... Oh, and Eric Roberts is super too!
Keanu obviously, and the celebs mentioned above-- I would think then also Jeff Bridges, Danielle Radcliff, Ke Huy Quan, Macaulay Culkin, John Waters (based on what I've heard).
I think a lot of these are simply evidence that people don't think anymore. People take everything so literally and act as if they don't have the capacity to look beyond the words that are being said to comprehend the true meaning behind them. For example, Justin Timberlake's statement was obviously his way of saying that parenting with absolutely no breaks is freaking hard. It's true, so what's wrong with expressing it? He didn't say that he wants to check out as a dad from 10pm to 7am, but people sure act as if he did. His only mistake was not dumbing the statement down more.
One of the most humble celebrities? Keith Flint. He was a true gentleman. And i am so pleased to have met him Just seen the David Beckham clip.... David you deserve a high five
Someone told a story about Corden being on a plane next to a woman with a baby sitting next to him. He went to sleep and ignored the crying and when they got off the plane he didn't help the woman with anything and they saw it was his wife and child who he had been ignoring and not helping at all. What a catch ladies.
Who cares what these people do with their time, money and fame? I don't worship the ground they walk on and my quality of life isn't compromised by their decision making.
Keanu Reeves is by far one the humblest and kindest souls - you can have all the fancy yachts and house with a million rooms it doesn't make you better than everyone else or a decent person it makes you more disconnected from what's actually going on the hypocrisy is staggering 🌏
I think those qualified to be amongst the humblest celebrities: Keanu Reeves Henry Winkler Mark Hamill Al Pacino Serena Williams Wayne Gretzky Michael J Fox
NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!! It doesn’t matter if you’re rich as Trump, at the height of his business mogul career, or you’re the most influential person on Social Media. No one gets special privileges!
They do actually. The law in this country was designed for rich people. An example of this is speeding tickets. A speeding ticket can RUIN a lot for people for a month or two. While my buddies ultra wealth dad wipes his ass with tickets for going 50+ over.
Both of my parents came from old money and still do my mom's side of the family grew up at the affluent side of Spain. My dad's grew up at the affluent side of Mexico city the massive difference between my dad and his brothers and sister. Is that he actually worked hard to have real estate business and 6 Mexican restaurants. My mom side of the family are lawyers, accountants, and doctors and they are humble people but I don't know about my cousins. My parents only wanted whats best for us and didn't force us to do something we didn't want to do. I wanted to do construction and my dad was worried about me mostly when I was a kid I got sick all the time and he didn't want push myself to hard.
Humblest, well at the most honest of this bunch is David Beckham. I was very pleasantly surprised to see a man being a real man and being like Babe keep it real. That takes a lot. Especially married. And ESPECIALLY married to a rich self proclaimed Posh chick. Whom I still love dearly, bless her heart. Lol
There's a few humble celebrities. One of my top picks, is Jon Bernthal. He knows where he comes from, and the struggles he had to get through in life, and he has still remained down to earth. I have met him twice, and he has always been humble.
well if you have enough food and water, you'll need toilet paper 🤣 but I think its because is not a basic need, so if you need to cut production of something that's one of the things you cut, you cant stop producing food
