Love Matt Smith? Why not check out our list of the Top 10 Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) Moments! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4G1IlQRWfBY.html
I absolutely love Matt. I think he's always been a legend. He played the 11th Doctor perfectly, most people would say he carried Morbius singlehandedly, he always tries his best when he acts and he's a really nice man.
The scene from Vincent and The Doctor where they are in the national gallery in the present, always gets me in tears because Vincent didn't think anything would come of his paintings, until he saw just how much people loved them in the future. Even getting his own room dedicated to him and his paintings made realise that painting and using his passion and pain together, had created many wonderful paintings which people really enjoyed looking at. Bill Nighy was right; "There may never be anyone like Vincent Van Gough again."
I met Matt at a convention in 2019. He's my favourite Doctor and I was scared out of my mind that he was going to be one of those celebrity cases where they're an arse in real life. I was so happy to find that he was the kindest person you could meet. I took some fanart for him to sign - I'm a coloured pencil portrait artist and I'd drawn his Doctor. He was so complimentary towards my work and encouraged me to continue what I was doing, saying I had a talent for it. He wrote "Keep drawing" on it, with a heart. One of the loveliest people I've ever come across.
I met him at a con ages ago and goddamn, he’s charming. Still one of my favourite doctors. I think he did the best he could with some of the mess he was given.
I love Matt Smith. Seeing him in Doctor Who started it all. I've seen MORBIUS, LAST NIGHT IN SOHO, HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, TERMINATOR GENESYS, and some episodes of THE CROWN. He's amazing and so talented 😍 💖
@@extremchiller410 he's the one that grabbed John Conner as Kyle Reese was in the time travel machine. He's noticed briefly there. Where his image is noticed at the end when they're all in the building to blow it up. You see when the hologram image is aging that the last one is him. Sorry if my explanation doesn't make sense. He's Genesys.
I mean, honestly I think his "I'm the Doctor. Basically, run," speech from his first episode should have been included here because Tennant was always going to be a ridiculously hard act to follow, and Smith was *29.* He himself was a hard act to follow, but Capaldi was already a seasoned actor and relatively well-known. Smith had only been on TV for *four years* when he took over Doctor Who and he had all of 40 minutes to convince the audience that he was going to be at least as good as Tennant. And he nailed it.
Matt Smith is simply ICONIC! He was the only thing that made Morbius even REMOTELY watchable and his portrayal of The Duke of Edinburgh was spot on, especially compared to archive footage of the late Duke. Personally, I think he should have been cast in Good Omens instead of Michael Sheen. Matt Smith hamming it up with David Tenant would have been absolutely PRICELESS!!!
I love how Matt played against type in "Last Night in Soho." We think that his character Jack will be as likable as the Eleventh Doctor, only to get a shock later on when we see what he's REALLY like!
I love everything I've ever seen Matt do. He's absolutely brilliant in everything he does, and he's so funny and warm in his interviews. One of my favorites is him telling about getting drunk off his ass at James Corden's wedding. He's hilarious. P.S. I needed more of him dancing in Morbius
I think Matt Smith is going to reach Ian McKellen level once he grows old 🤌 He is that amazing and the fact that is so nonchalent about his fame is amazing
To me Matt smith was born to play the doctor cause he played the doctor masterfully he is beyond most of the younger actors out there today cause of his ability to understand roles he is given
I met Matt Smith at Comic-Con in 2018. Sweet guy. Got to hang out with him for a bit after our Photo-Op. Definitely one of those celebrities that leaves you with an awesome lasting memory. 😁
And yes I really do believe that Matt Smith do deserve a Oscar because you can just see the talent and the hard work and all the characters he play thank you for letting me have my opportunity to speak about it and I really do hope that that he would be able to be working on marvel a little bit more maybe not the same character but a different character or the same one but give him more scenes in it.
Doctor Who'da hem yaşlı hem genç bir adamı, hem aptalı hem zekiyi aynı anda başarılı bir şekilde canlandırmıştı. Saygıyı hak ediyor. Umarım ileriki yıllarda Doctor Who'da tekrar görürüz.
I still remember watching End of Time part 2; some Doctors need time to find their feet, that one scene we had with the 11th Doctor, and I knew we were in for a fun one.
I agree with this list but I would have added what he did in James Corden's wedding. If you don't know what I'm talking about look up for "Matt Smith got a little tipsy at James Corden's wedding" and watch his interview.
I have no problem admitting that I was one of those that was NOT thrilled about Matt Smith being cast as the Doctor. I hadn't seen much of him and he seemed too young. I was (still am) a huge David Tennent fan and I thought the show runner had cast pretty footballer Matt to just go after the tween demographic. I WAS SOOOOOOOOOO WRONG about Matt. So when non-Whovians started pitching a fit about him being cast as Daemon... I as a fan of both stories, told them how Matt had surprised me and that they should wait to judge because I knew he was going to wow them... and he did. He was even MORE amazing than I believed he was going to be. That silent fight scene on the Stepstones? PERFECTION... Another was the very final scene of the last episode of Season one of House of the Dragon. It's another silent scene where he leads Rhaenyra to the fireplace to tell her that her son has been killed. It wasn't supposed to go that way but Matt suggested it and it was SO much more powerful that way.
The first time I saw matt smith was in secret diary of a call girl with billie piper. (which was actually the first show I saw her in too) then my friend got me into doctor who eccleston and tennant are my favs, I didn't mind his doctor it was more of I didn't like the plots surrounding it. Everyone else I loved was gone, Rose, Martha, Jack, Donna, etc. Thought he was great on the Crown. When I heard he was going to play Daemon i was skeptical but he surprised me and he's my favorite character on the show.
If Matt Smith has ankylosing spondylitis, I'm surprised he can do anything a all requiring a lot of walking. Over time, the inflammation from it can cause several of the vertebrae to fuse together in the spine.
Who would win a fight between all the Doctors? None of them as it would be a draw. None of the Doctors would want to fight & that would be only as a last resort. All of the Doctors are wise & that only increases as he/she gets older. So I believe they would all win as they would avoid an epic battle my using their wisdom & compassion.
