Ronaldinho changed his name to "little Ronaldo" in respect for Ronaldo. Zamorano gave up his #9 shirt and took 1+8 in respect for Ronaldo. So loved by the commentators they called him Ronnie. On Playstation FIFA 98 he was called Calcio (Football). Most people refer to him as Fenomeno or R9 and some Original Ronaldo. CRAZY that he already had ALL of this prestigious glory but even More CRAZY. He was only 22 years old. At 17, Messi started his first match in La Liga, Ronaldo already a World Cup Champion. At 19, Mbbappe started to rise up in Champion League. Ronaldo already named FIFA World Player of The Year. At 21, C. Ronaldo still grieved over World Cup defeat. Ronaldo already held high the Ballon d'Or. Ronaldo switching 4 clubs, in 4 different leagues, in every year. And when he arrived, he dominated that league. The last league he played before the injuries, the Italian Series A, he's made Captain at such a young age. Ronaldo O Truly Fenomeno. "CRAZY. CRAZY. CRAZY. AMAZING. CRAZY. AMAZING..." ~ José Mourinho
5:03 Ronaldo was known as “Ronaldinho” for a long time in Brazil… That’s why R10 is Ronaldinho _Gaucho_ , because, at the time, it was a way to differentiate between the 2
In the 94 World Cup there was older Ronaldo who was in the squad. Therefore, Ronaldo Nazario de Lima was called "Ronaldinho" meaning "Little Ronaldo." The same rule applies to Ronaldinho Gaucho whose birth name is Ronaldo De Assis Moreira from Rio Grand Sul, Porto Alegre.
@@malakyahmalla8009 that’s not accurate. Ronaldo was called _Ronaldinho_ before even joining the national team, while playing for Cruzeiro. Also, the player in the Brazilian squad that you are talking about was known as _Ronaldão_ - hence, no need to distinguish between these two Ronaldos
@@malakyahmalla8009 I don’t have to continue this discussion. My points were clear. I am Brazilian, and I saw Ronaldo Fenômeno rising at Cruzeiro and retiring from football while at Corinthians, with my own eyes. So, just swallow the accurate information I shared here and move one with your life
Most of the young generation probably have no idea how good and clean Paolo Maldini was as a defender and how much he valued fair play and sportsmanship. He, even at 41 years old, when finally decided to retire, was still considered as one of the best, if not the best defender in the world. You know someone is just built different if that Maldini, among all defenders, ends up looking like your footballer from next door, loses his cool completely and eventually proceeds to bare hug a forward to try and stop him because all of his other skills have been proven completely useless.
With 19 years Messi was a project,Ronaldo the phenomeno was a reality, world cup winner, ballon dor and 43 goals in 46 games on his first season with Barcelona 😂 ,u can laugh now kid
