You wanna know how much of an impression Link appearing as a fighter in Soulcalibur II left? Soulcalibur VI has a modding tool called Vodkalibur, and a couple of the most popular mods on it are mods that add Link's outfit and the Master Sword and Hylian Shield to the game so that you can at least somewhat reintroduce him to the roster; pretty cool huh?
I did really like the fact that in fable 3 one of the grave stones says “it’s dangerous to go alone, take this” and you can dig up a wooden sword from the grave

Fable 3 - Written on a tombstone in morning wood it reads it's dangerous to go alone. Super Mario 2/Usa/Doki Doki - The sound birdo makes is the same sound as the wond in Zelda 1 Mario Golf 64 - Shiek is in the ranking high-score list at 27 Paper Mario - Theres a Goomba in Dry Dry Desert that goes by Sheek
Link was the only reason I bought soulcalibur 2 I hadn't even heard of soulcalibur before that and I'm glad I did get it I still go back and play and my main character is link
In Fable 3, after the mission of defending the fort and recruiting Major Swift to your army, you come across a graveyard. At the far end is a tombstone that reads "It's dangerous to go alone, take this." You dog companion will start to bark to alert you that a "dig spot" is near by. You dog starts to dig at said grave, which indicates that you can dig something up. As cool as it would have been to get a powerful sword, you get a toy sword. Edit: In the game "it takes two" after you get the powers of time manipulation and cloning, there is a building you can go into it. Upon entering you find yourself in a room that looks like the guard house in "Ocarina of time" and to complete it the pots you can break and get green rupees from them.
If you scan the link amibo in either the 3ds or Nintendo switch version of Miitopia, you’ll get the link costume and the master sword as a weapon for the Warrior Job.
Super Mario Maker 2 had the Master Sword as a powerup for the 8-bit levels, which turns you into Link. You can use his sword, bow, bombs, and shield iirc.
for Bayonetta, no you can still dodge and also parry if she wears Link's costume. it's better since you have one more space for an accessory, because you can't normally parry unless you equip the Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa
Someday, I'd personally love to see a Zelda DLC in a Fire Emblem game, now that they've gone in the route of parallel universes and being able to traverse through time and space, I see no reason how they couldn't make it work, especially considering dimension hopping or banishment is also common in Zelda. There's a lot if potential there, for sure, maybe taking control of and aiding Link in returning back to Hyrule after being thrown into another dimension by Ganon, maybe fight some cool unique enemies like Stalfos, Dark Nuts and a notable boss like Phantom Ganon or Dark Link or something cool. The reward could be anything, though I'm not sure what would be the most fitting and satisfying.
I remember seeing a post on tumblr once where this artist made Zelda characters pixel art in a Fire Emblem Awakening style with animations and everything and it looked like the real deal
@@OreganoParsley it's true. You could get it by either scanning a legend of Zelda amiibo, or climbing the mountain where Paarthunax is. There's a leveled set in a chest just round the corner from him...the outfit is BotW though, not Links classic green :'(
If they some how beyond all hope make a Switch port of any of the Fallout games it would be pretty dope to dress up as Zelda characters in the post apocalyptic landscape those games take placed in. Maybe a mutated two headed Epona perhaps?
Interesting fact about Bayonetta's Link costume: It originally had an undershirt to hide her cleavage, but Nintendo's execs basically said "Get rid of it."
What about Kirby with sword power when he first was able to copy powers he just had a sword and at some point they gave him a link like green hat when he gets the sword power
Another one I like to think is Undertale when muffet is selling you things one of the items is a orange crossiant which when examined says that it looks like some sort of power bracelet
That's unfitting, besides, SMT gets plenty of high quality crossover content. Zelda crossed with mario would be better. Both in a platformer and in an rpg mario game. either one would work. Link could also work exceptionally well as a unit in fire emblem.
I can't believe I had a Wii U and I had Sonic Lost world deadly six bonus edition on it and I downloaded Yoshi's Island DLC and Hyrule DLC, but stubbornly for some reason felt like I shouldn't play those zones until I completed the game and then it turns out I actually never bothered to finish the game for some reason so I ended up missing out on playing what looks like a really awesome Zelda recreation in Sonic. I am however really happy that I had the GameCube version of soul Calibur 2 so I can play as link. I mean Rafael was the best character in the game in my opinion, but link was so much fun to play as

Link did make a appearance in a Game called Airoheart mid way in the campaign you can literally see him waving his hand to you moment later he vanishes away
You totally missed the Master Sword update in Super Mario Maker 2. This update introduced the Master Sword power-up to the original Super Mario style levels, a power-up which turns Mario into Link and grants him the use of the Master Sword, the Hylian Shield, bombs and a bow and arrows this changed not only how you can play these levels but also how you can design levels to incorporate this new mechanic.
In the PS4 remake of Ratchet & Clank you can go into the settings and change the currency to Rupees. I’m not sure if this was exclusive to the remake or not, but I just thought I’d share.
also the fact that the voice actor for link in OOT reprised the role for soul calibur 2, which was easy because he already plays another character in that series since the first soul calibur game

Sonic didn’t just getting dlc that was Zelda. Sonic was accused by some crazy people online off line of plagiarizing twice sonic an the black knight was seen as sonic plagiarizing the whole series. Sonic unleashed was considered to have been plagiarizing legend of Zelda twilight Princess. What a bunch of nonsense.
