Dope vid man, love seeing 7 minute vids rather than 10 minutes all the time.. I like that idea of filling letter by letter after sketching.. Also think its a really good point to not stress the finer details too much
@Soul I’m sure almost all vandals are faster than a conductor who sits in a train all day. Just keep an eye out for workers. Keep your head on a swivel and look under the trains to see if anyone’s walking up.
Very essential and useful tips!! Especially the one about memorize your sketches. Another very important thing in my opinion is SHAKE WELL, wear gloves and turn your clothes (especially for big paints) you will see the difference shaking...less time, better coverage etc...
Good tip is to time yourself on each letter. Challenge yourself to spend 15 Seconds for each letter filling. 15 seconds will eventually turn to 10 seconds. Also if your letters are big you can cut them into small portions that way you won't have to do a big stretch. Use a calligraphy cap to fill in straight letters.
good tip, buy a powerful lazer(burning lazer), look for cameras that may have an angle on you, point it at the lens to destroy color sensors effectively destroying the camera
7 & 8 were the best tips for me. Really sound advice because I am a perfectionist and a harsh self critic. But I know 100% you're giving sound advice due to the advice given about small imperfections or mistakes not showing up on a camera. I actually did a piece today with a cartoon character in the background. I went back over and fixed most imperfections but there were still a lot. I decided not to fuck with it any more because of 2 reasons. 1 was that the further back I stood, the less those imperfections were noticeable and 2 being that when I took a digital photo after I finished, no imperfections showed and it just looked fresh and crisp. But there is one thing I really have to thank GraffitiBloq for and it was a tip I picked up in a previous video and a tip that I was both skeptical of yet intrigued about. It was your tip on how to turn HP cans into LP cans. I tried it and fuck me it works... and works well, So much easier to control . Plus my can control and skill level has increased dramatically since then as I now practice a lot more.
Another tip: shake three cans at once (you hold the three cans in both of your hands) this saves a lot of time... and of course shake them before you go out if you don’t travel there too long
