10 Tips for Planting and Growing Okra Seeds Successfully 

Thank you so much for your wonderful okra growing tips! Although I've grown okra all of my life, I am trying a new variety for the second year, Baby Bubba, and really wanted to know more about spacing as I try to decide whether to plant them in-ground or in containers. I only grew five or six plants because it was a new variety for me and I wasn't real sure about its growth habits. I grew them inside the holes in my cinder blocks that surround my raised bed. They actually surprised me and grew very well! I did, however develop a problem with fire ants constantly crawling on them and I guess chewing or sucking on them, causing them to become malformed and stubby. I fought the ants for as long as I could, but eventually gave up. I was fighting a losing battle. But I have since found a solution to the ant problem and, hopefully, my stubby, chewed up and deformed okra pods. I was actually targeting another pest, Pill Bugs, but to my surprise, ALL of the ants were belly up, dead the next morning as well! After literally, YEARS, of trying to kill ants in my garden, I finally discovered an organic treatment to kill them. "Sluggo Plus" wiped out all the colonies around ourÿ whole yard and gardens! We were ABSOLUTELY THRILLED! Because we had SO MANY in each colony that extended deeply underground, we had to treat them again in about 2 months as they started to reappear. But they have come back fewer and fewer each time, and it's taking less and less of the "Sluggo Plus." So, we're almost ant-free! We're still dealing with the Pill Bugs, too, but we had a MASSIVE INFESTATION of them, too, that is almost completely eradicated. Praise the Lord! Thank you again for the okra tips. Music annoying can't hear well

The music is disturbing the listening to the comments. You shouldn't put the music while the video is going on.. Terrible.

14:17 Let's get real. What's with the CHRISTMAS MUSIC?????? Not only is it annoyingly LOUD, it's the middle of summer. Christmas music?? I thought you said we were going to get real? Then there's the annoying repetition.. Every time it got to the end of "Oh Come All ye Faithful", and you could hear it winding down, you think, "Good, maybe the next song won't be Christmas," not only was it Christmas, it was The Same Song!". Every Single Time. I really wanted to watch the whole thing to see if she had any tips I hadn't heard yet, she hadn't so far, but i just couldn't. Dare I check out any more videos from this site? Nah, don't think so. Btw, I'm not usually so critical. This is the first I've ever posted that could in any way be less than supportive. ps... After reading all the other reviews i guess i could have saved my breath. Everybody else seems to agree with me. Good luck in your RU-vid future.❤
