That's the year I started playing this game! I still have my original copy and I use the CD to play the game with the original settings from way back in the day. I like the patches, but that way I feel like I'm back in the mid to late 2000s. Hahaha.
Dude this game is fantastic. Got it too back then on Xbox 360. Put PC is way more handy. Wish they’d release a part 3 or like fully recovered version to today’s visuals.
11 tip : teach your kid bfme so that there will a future Shanks. I always divide my army with control and a number. For example control 1 for infantry and 2 for cavarly. You can easily creep a troll if you get an outpost with heroic statue and archers or with the 2 cavarly trick use one to lure troll out and the second on the lair
You've genuinely inspired me to make content around this game, I've beaten both campaigns at least five times each. It is still one of my all time favorite RTS games ever. Now I just need to figure out how the hell to make the sequel work on a modern pc LOL
5:26 I can't imagine how hilarious it must have felt to load up a game specifically for the purpose of having Saruman blow himself up by casting Fireball on an explosive mine in an empty field.
One piece of feedback I have (said with love and appreciation), you may want to consider speaking just a little bit slower. You're providing wonderfully useful information but I felt that I needed to play at 0.75 speed to really take it all in. While playing at a slower speed helps, it then sounds off and unnatural. Great video overall and I subscribed to your channel : )

I always queue units especially in campaign mode & the reason for this is you can quite easily go over the command limit which gives you an advantage as your unit reaches level 2 they can spawn over time either using the heal or the well or just naturally but whilst healing your new units will be coming out of your building then if you have reinforcements coming ie helms deep or osgiliath then you'll have more numbers
Shanks you never use attack move just push A like I been hearing a lot how in bfme 1 dont have aggressive stance but if you just use attack move and micro from there yoh wont have units sitting there doing nothing
I played this game snice i was 8. I never knew that leadership is so important for this game until 3 yrsago when i saw what level 10 units are capable to do
