I personally do not recommend engine tune ups. It might have adverse effects in the engine life and the resale value of your car will go down... Even a minor mistake during the tune up process might result in the failure of Engine Management system. It is an expensive repair which will cost above 1 lakh. However if you still want more power, you can do it under your own risk.
Nice car Dilip, I am a Polo owner too. I have the GT Blue which has a 1.4 TSI ACT engine. Im very happy with it and the balance between power and economy. If this car is available in India, you should consider looking at it. Ride comfort could be an issue for you on Indian roads. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼

I recommend to replace oil in the VW service centre during the first service. You can trust the service centre. Next year onwards, you can do it in aftermarket or service centre as per your wish.
Hi, I'm wondering if there is any burglar alarm system installed in polo & on what conditions do they trigger? I have a highline model & I'm doing all sorts of things like locking with the remote and unlocking with the key and few other stuffs but the alarm is not triggering. I'm wondering if it's faulty or under what conditions do they trigger?
Hi dilip, there is myth that, the registration place has hedge over the resale value, eg TN37, TN30, TN33, TN38 TN66 and TN99 have a higher resale value. ie IOT vehicles registered in and around Coimbatore ferch more value. Is it true.

+rinku sandhuz Polo TDI engine will be slightly noisier when compared to the Elite i20 CRDI engine. The CRDI engine is more refined and has linear power delivery... But the power flattens as it reaches 4000 RPM. In the other hand, TDI is more fun to drive... If you want a silent cabin with more rear seat space then go for the Elite i20. If you want a car with solid build quality and a precise steering, then go with the Polo TDI.

yes ... but fuel bills will burn a big hole in our pocket broh ! GT TSI however, VW INDIA hasnt included paddle shifters and shock absorbers are set on comfort side which makes it a bit lower than TDIs in terms of handling, especially cornering. I wish TSI should have a manual and more beefed up dynamics with 110 PS stock stage ...what do you think dileep uncle??? wanna know your thoughts ??? :)
+Cyril Matthew I actually love to buy a Polo GTI. But I don't have 20 lakhs budget... GT TSI would not give good mileage compared to the GT TDI. But not a big deal to me as I drive my car less than 1000 km in a month. The suspension set-up is different in both as you said... What I will miss the most is the Manual Gearbox being a driving enthusiast... In DSG the gear shifts are instantaneous and it is also fun... Of course it would have been great if it had paddle shifters... Hope I would be able to upgrade to the Polo GTI directly... 192 Ps of power with 250 Nm of Torque... 7 speed DSG with Paddle shifters... We can simply rock in the road...
dilip sukumar But uncle VW has done serious coat cutting in GTI. 7 spd dsg instead of latest 7 spd dsg +. If u take a closer look, u can see all Vw cars using dsg 6s peak tórque limited to 250 nm like octavia, superb 1.8 TSI ..My questionsl is y don't the put a manual gearbox so that torque can be 320 instead of 250. . Suspension is again compromised in the name of "making it suitable for indian roads" But if i have the budget of 20 lakhs, i will fo for civic ivtec ... Jetta is yet to come but reliability is an issue with vws here

Your Volkswagen is amazing. Never sell it. No car in India other than Skoda and other luxury brands like BMW, AUDI, Porsche, Jaguar, etc come close to Volkswagen standards. Bought my GT TDI (drove 20000 km) and loving it since then... Have previously owned a Chevrolet Cruise, Honda Civic , and even went on a road trip on my friend's Maruti Baleno ( drove around 300km) Nothing comes close to the refinement of Volkswagen. What do you do for a living other than RU-vid?

Dhinkchak Pooja Audi and Porsche cannot compete as they are also the brands of VW and also Lamborghini.... Bugatti are also brands of VW......... VW has about 340 + subsidies...... That are global brands
