Your skin color and shiny black hair is SOOOO gorgeous it’s distracting. I’m just staring! I got to the end of the video and realized that didn’t hear anything you were saying 😅
Yes Ma,am, you are so right about the ponytail bands or wraps for your hair I used them for three months for updos and notice my hair wrapped in with small amounts of breakage, until my length and ends became short. To much friction and tension and combing it upward each time damage my ends and this is on my natural color treated hair. Now after being natural 10 yrs, I back wearing relax hair and I love how it feels and easy to manage. I will take better care of it this time, after wearing natural hair for so long and seeing hair break off because of certain hair style I wanted to wear. Now I can achieve the looks I like easier and less time ok. Thanks for the good tips, I needed them for my new relax hair just two days old, feels like soft baby hair all over again. Hope I can keep it this way. PEACE & LOVE and Hair GREASE with GROWTH
My favorite protective style is a ponytail or bun. I like fabric hair ties; also I take it down at night and wrap it. I don't recommend leaving it pulled back at night. Water, vitamins and a good natural oil definitely work. Thank you.
Missed seeing you update but sorry to hear about your grandmother. I am sure that spending time with your family helped. My hair was shedding a lot but I realized it was an issue with my health. I really thought I was doing great with diet but it seemed that I had to make more changes. Now my hair is shedding much less and it didn't take hair vitamins. I agree with you. Women especially young women should beware of some of these hair supplements on the market!
I also suggest EmiJay hair ties because they don't dent my hair like a normal hair tie. And I have a Swissco tortoise seamless rake comb. It's hand polished and beautiful. It runs anywhere from $8 to $11. You may like it. Great tips. I run often, and I think I need to reduce my heat use as well.
I just stumbled across your video I'm about moisturizing and sealing and taking care of the hair which I currently started doing again due to iron deficiency i had excessive sheeding a year-and-a-half ago but now my hair is growing to almost waist-length again. You are beautiful and have a beautiful soul thanks for coming on and sharing your hair tips happy Easter to you and yours
Yasmin Williams Lol! I’m sorry! I actually have a friend who suffers from the same phobia. She freaked out when she saw an ant hill that looked similar. Lol. So sorry!
Style Domination I was so excited to see that you posted a video, I commented before watching. I'm deeply saddened to hear the news, my heart goes out to you and yours.
Thank You so much for this video, Right on time. My hair has been doing some shedding lately. Hopefully these tips will help me. I have missed you filming , and so glad you're back. I'm sorry for your loss & know being around those who love you very much is important right now.
Thanks for the awesome hair tips. I'm now a new subbie. Sorry for the loss of your grandmother. I too suffered the tragic loss of my dear big brother in May to incurable cancer. So I get how you need time to deal with things and your family and everything as I'm still grieving. But it's nice in my spare time to view nice and helpful videos like yours as I have always been into hair. So I look forward to checking out more of your videos as you appear to be a lovely and well spoken person.
Hi Dominique, I'm new to your channel and love it. I'm currently natural and have decided to go back to a relaxer but not sure which one to use. I previously used whatever was available but I want to be very deliberate and thoughtful in what products I use this time around. What relaxer do you use or would you recommend?
I've been following you for a couple years now though I've been texlaxed. I just fully relaxed my hair this week because I got tired of tangles. But means I put relaxer on already relaxed hair - it was underprocessed. This concerns me. I had to watch this video coz I'm afraid my hair may break off. I'll take all precautions. But all sounds like what I already do. Thanks.
I love your videos but I couldn’t watch this one because of your decor in the background 🤣🤣 I have a slight touch of ty phobia thankfully it’s not paralyzing but it still affects me.🤪
I just came across your channel & sub! Can you make a suggestion on what I should do to help my hair now that I have relaxed it after 3 years of natural, I'm a little disappointed because my hair processed wonderfully but it's so thin & too straight, what can I do to thicken the look of it or @ the least bring some life back to it! I use to have thick hair but now it seems so different after this "natural" look! Thank You In Advance, Your Input Is Much Appreciated!!!
I have a patch of hair on the side of my head that I always sleep on. (I use satin pillowcases) It is extremely short and never properly processes when I relax it. It never grows and I don't know what to do with it. The other side of my head grows just fine and it's definitely not heat damage because I usually only straighten my hair once every 2-3 months and I never blow dry. Help!
I have really bad split ends , because I never got em cut and now im going though the process for getting it all gone because I don't want to cut alot off can I do it like that or do I have to cut alot off ? ,and will it still get healthy?
I am just now finding your channel. Sorry you lost your grandmother last year.I attempted to buy René Furterer Nourishing Leave-In Cream from the link you provided but it is not available. I was able to buy the last bottle from ebay. Do you know who else sells it?
I have relax hair and coloring but its getting dry and brittle and I am doing the rice water and I just really starting please give suggestions on everything shampoo conditioner the rice water the jbco cause my hair is thin from the micro braids its short my hair ends been cut please reply thank you
What is the rice water? This is new to me! From what I hear, relaxing AND colouring is super harsh on your hair. And I would stay away from microbraids entirely. Get a trim and start deep conditioning with some natural oils. Maybe invest in a steam cap to really deep condition. Maybe give your hair a break from either the relaxing or the colouring, but first of all, go see a hairstylist you trust who can assess your hair and give you tips based on what she sees and her expertise.
Natasha Barton try something lighter like Haitian black castor oil or avocado oil. Stay far far away from that company lol there’s tons of videos on here about why.
Love your chanel and this video! Being natural, it’s so hard to put moisture/water back in my hair without reversion when I straighten my hair😭. I do not like to wear my natural 4c hair because it tangled and matts like crazy and I don’t do fancy braids and styles like most natural you tubers because I think it looks childish. I’m experiencing so much breakage because my natural hair is so dry, I moisturize and seal once a week and I hardly manipulate my hair because I wear wigs religiously. My natural hair is so much work and I get no joy out of wearing it which is so sad :/. I’m definitely thinking about relaxing my hair if things don’t improve by the end of the year. Thanks for making this video, hopefully these tips will improve my current situation.
