That photo you used of The Deck is at least five years old. Someone used the first image they found in their Google search and didn’t bother to do their homework. The restaurant has been extended and renovated and looks completely different.

Be careful where you park in Airlie Beach as car parking scams are rampant. There is a vacant block of land behind Woolworths where people park when the Woolworths car park is full. However the land is owned by Magnums and you will be fined if you park here. Very poor signage if any indicating that it's private land and many cars parked here. There's a large car park at Coral Sea Marina at Shingly Beach, we parked here and paid but we're fined $90. When we questioned the fine we were informed that there are actually two separate car parks and we had parked in the wrong one. There is no discernable difference in the car parks and it just looks like one big car park. Absolute scams and won't be back to Airlie Beach.
when we go to airlie on our cruise in march next year (our first ever time there), were doing a tuk tuk 1 hour tour :) and a 3 hour bus tour of airlie with driftwood tours :) really looking forward to it :)
