1. Joenpa Legso (Welcome Dance): This song is played at the start of any big function or memorable occasion to greet all guests. It begins with best wishes for the successful completion of any programme as well as good luck for the day.
2. Zhungdra (Bhutanese Classical Song): Zhungdras are among our country's oldest classical songs. It is performed as an offering to gods and goddesses in dzongs and monasteries during religious festivals and rituals. These songs are deemed sacred because their lyrics are drawn from religious texts and situations.
3. Drametse Ngachham (Religious Mask Dance): One of the most prominent masked dances performed in Bhutan is a masked dance with the faces of different animals carrying a holy drum. It was founded in Drametse, Bhutan's eastern area, by a famous Tertoen (treasure revealer) named Pema Lingpa. As a result, the mask dance is known as "Drametse Ngacham."
4. Thrung Thrung (The Crane Dance): Thrung Thrugn is a traditional folk dance performed primarly during the black-necked crane festival since it is a rare species of bird that can be observed in some parts of Bhutan during the winter season. Bhutanese people cherish uncommon birds because they visit rare sites where they sing and dance in admiration.
5. Yak Chham with Nomadic Dancers: This dance is performed by the nomadic Merak-Sakteg people of Bhutan's eastern region. This dance is done in honour of the livestock god ThodaGali. Furthermore, it is conducted to demonstrate respect for the yak as the primary source of income for the community, demonstrating the close tie between yaks and nomads. As a result, this dance represents the link that those nomads and yak in their daily lives.
6. Bumtap Dance (Local dance from central Bhutan): This dance originated in Bumthang Valley, the centre of Bhutan, where the great master Guru Rinpochoe made his first visit to Bhutan. This song is mainly performed by the group of female dancers to express the happiness and joy they share among the people of their locality.
7. Azhang Gaway (Happy Uncle's Dance): Azhanggway is a unique danced performed by the people of small village known as Takchulocated under mongar district (eastern part of Bhutan). This song essentially recounts the activities that a 'uncle' (who was a highly revered Buddhist Lama of the area in the 1900s) performs using various body parts when he is in a very pleased mood. The Yangchen Lugar is performing this song to promote it and keep it alive for future generations because it is not very well-known in Bhutan.
8. Flute Dance: Flute is one of the instruments which is easily refine using bamboo. Flute due to its soothing sound used as offering for Lhamo Yangchenna (Goddess of music). Our grandparents used to say that one of decent cowboy was blessed with stupa of zambala (god of wealth) because with stupa of zambala (god of wealth) because he use worship and play it every trimebutines people believe that flute is one of the important musical instrument and use of keep in alter as part of offering.
9. Archery (National Game): Bhutan's national sport, archery, is only performed by men. This song describes traditional archery tournaments between two teams comprised of both men and women. Through songs and dances, the women distract the opposing team and boost their own. Finally, the women pour the players wine and dance blissfully together.
10. Tashi Tashi (Fare well dance): As the conclusion of the program, this dance is done, and everyone is required to join in and dance together while wishing to reunite at future events of the same kind.
