I've been really surprised about how truly awful Bissouma looked this season. His play in the match Brentford might have been the very worst performance I have ever seen by a midfielder. Everytime he touched the ball he might have just walked away and started getting back in defensive position because he was an absolute turnover machine. On attack it seemed like Spurs were always a man down because Bissouma was invisible. I cant even remember a time he was ever in a position to do anything. I was psyched when they got him in the beginning of the season as I thought he played wonderfully when I saw him over the last 2 seasons. Its like he was completely replaced with a clone who looks like him but simply never played football before.
@@walterdavies2984 to be fair he did play really well over the last two seasons before coming to Spurs. I was excited to see what he brought to the table in London and couldn't figure out why he wasn't getting minutes under Conte
Koulibaly was in the top 5 for best defenders in the world a couple seasons ago, it's a shame he's being treated like this now. I think if he played in a back 4 like all his career, he would perform miles better
He was never ever in the top 5 of defenders. He was decent at Napoli, but had the propensity for silly positional mistakes and also usually disappointed in big matches. I noticed that there is almost like a myth Koulibaly outside of Italy compared to the one that was in serie a. He is much much better than this current Chelsea team, but he was not world class.
@@recruitmentch you telling me serie A best defender is decent haha. He's surrounded by clown like kepa, azpi, jorginho. How is he going to shine? Put him next to varane and casemiro and you'll see
@@pisko2119 he was never the best defender in serie a! Same way as bremer being voted best defender last season for defending in a side that barely attacked whilst kalulu' introduction to Milan's defense won a title! I agree HES better than this Chelsea team though!
Kessie has been okay. Barca have a crowded midfield. Busquets has quietly taken his legend to new heights in recent years still performing at a high level. I feel blessed to still watch him play for the blaugrana.
Koulibaly has not flopped! Chelsea as a whole have been disappointing! Hard to perform at your best when those around you haven’t been up to par! I guarantee you that once Chelsea get passed this slump you’ll see Koulibaly at his best!
The worst one eventually will be Antony, he just doesn't have much to his game, can't beat man, incredibly one footed, physically not very special, lacks vision. Its Garnacho that looks like the potential superstar winger
Simply not true at all he hasn't been great since the restart but before then Antony was electric he was one of the most fun players to watch in the league I reckon he'll have another good spell before the end of the season and next season he will be class
I don’t think nunez is a flop I’m sorry! He is contributing It’s his first season and we will get more We have high expectations for him because of a price tag that’s not his fault That’s not a club faults that’s football fault that time has changed that people that are so young go for so high prices So his not a flop people should stop thinking so And also his not as good as we thought But his a good footballer If that makes sense
What people outside of Italy seemed to not understand is that Koulibaly was a very good defender at Napoli, but never world class. He was decent, but always had mistakes in him and also flopped in big matches. BUT. He is playing in a woeful Chelsea side with virtually a non existent midfield, and absolutely duds like Chalobah and Lewis Hall. I watched Chelsea again tonight, and I can't help but feel sorry for him. Chalobah was hopeless. Chelsea were being exposed on the right and left wings and a simple 1-2 would bypass their entire central midfield. Not even Thiago Silva looks reliable in such a shambolic setup. Also. The keeper behind him is woeful. Money-wise I'm sure he doesn't regret the move, but Chelsea are miles away from where they need to be. Mount? Havertz? Absolutely woeful footballers.
Speaks volumes about how great Thiago Silva is being at such a clownshow of a club and being 38 yet still being their best player and more often than not can be praised regardless of Chelsea's result.
@@zorenwhite7886 with a straight face, can you compare or liken kepa to the keepers who have kept goal for chelsea over the past twenty five years? He isnt even on the level of de goey or cudicini! It isnt so much that he's bad! It is that he would struggle to standout even if he played for aston villa or southampton! Not a top keeper for a club like chelsea!
Hall is not a dud at all. He's an 18 year old that has less than 8 professional games and is a midfielder filling in at left back. If you watch Chelsea, he's actually one of the better players, especially considering his age.
That & there isn't much reasoning behind Chelsea's tranfer policy. Rather than building on their core of academy or English talent. They're throwing money at teams to sign players to see if they fit. A policy I'm all too familiar with as a Barça fan, that's only mitigated by the club establishing an identity of promoting academy players.
I love Richarlison & Bissouma. Richarlison has been playing out of position but for 60m he should be doing more in my opinion, I do believe he should start over Son to improve the price tag. Bissouma has been poor but I do believe playing with Hojbjerg/Skipp i'm not surprised, he needs to play with Bentancur/Sarr to look better in a 2 but in a 3 I love him. I think Bissouma x Bentancur is way better then Hojbjerg x Bissouma. I need to see more from Richarlison & Bissouma sadly but they definitely aren't our worst players.
I really wouldn't say Bissouma has flopped. I'm a spurs fan and I just don't think the style suits him. He was great at Brighton because of how they played and while it was a great feeling signing him early on, it just irks me that he hasn't been as good as he can be. It just hurts that it's another product of Spurs
What!?!? From joining Barca for $150m to joining Aston villa for $20m, saying his downfall is huge is absolutely an understatement. He should've never left Liverpool on his peak.
the kessie shout is rubbish man, he is getting more game time in recent weeks. he was poor against atleti but it was a big plus to see him start taking risks, when busquets is phased out and we switch from the double pivot franck will likely thrive.
Holy crap! Didn't realise they spent that much on him. Prob value is around a quarter of that, he didn't play much for wolves either. Yeah, I knew Forest signed lots of players but the idea they blew 40mil on a fringe wolves player is mindblowing. How much have they spent overall this season?
He needs to rotate with them plus Gavi but the problem with Barca is they like their old guys. No one will get Busquets out of that lineup until he decides to go. I'm a Barca fan and that is really frustrating how they're politically oriented towards spanish and catalan players. Kessie is miles better than Busquets rn but Xavi still frustratingly picks Busi over Kessie...
Personally the transfer that already flopped and is worst transfer of this season of any top 7 european league is Jeremiah St Juste only played three games for Sporting this season where he was good, bad and decent and hasnt played since then way worser transfer than Coutinho, Koulibaly and Bissouma combined up there Djed Spence although Spence never got injured
‘Dennis hasn’t been bad’. Yes, yes he has. I’m under 400 minutes he’s made more mistakes leading to goals than anyone else in the squad. As a 9. Guys you need to actually review more stats than goals scored when you make this stuff.
@@mastilozdravljedamjanovic it doesn't mate, he didn't decide his price tag it was board's fault. He is still work in progress and he has scored 5 goals since not bad for a 22 year old who have just moved into the club
@@mastilozdravljedamjanovic i dont think its fair to judge a player based on an arbitary fee.If you put the fee aside,he has been playing well.Transfer fee is just a means to acquire a player, not their real value.
