My best friend just started playing genshin. She's the one who doesn't know how to teleport. When I taught her how she kept on shouting at me saying that I should have told her than just sprinting all over Teyvat.

My sister started during Kokomi's banner and got her on her first ever pull, she then asked me "is she good? " i told her that she's a very good healer. Some days later i pulled on her account and suddenly a C1 Kokomi was showing at my screen while i was still searching for my C0 Kokonuts. Safe to say that my sister never used Barbara and kinda made Kokomi her Sub-DPS

Funny story: when I first started playing, I didn't know I had to click on the teleport waypoint at the beach, so I just explored everything, killed some hilichurls, went inside the city and even gathered a lot of fruits and chests, it was until the next day that I figured out what to do

When I first unlocked Mondstadt, the first thing I tried to do was climb the Venti statue. It was hard with such little stamina, but I made it to the top before falling off and dying. I spent about half an hour panicking and wondering if I would have to solo the game with Amber before I figured out that you could revive characters by feeding them fried eggs.

At the start where you follow Paimon. I ended up falling to my death because I forgot you could take fall damage 🤩

this just brought me a ton of nostalgia i remember crying over the first ascension domain because i can't do it, ruin guards i can't kill, the ruin hunter and grader being my nightmares and now, everything's just gone.

The speedrunner casually gets the Menace of the Mansion achievement immediately; it took me so many months to stumble over that guy...

I played on version 1.0, next to end of venti's banner. I was (and still am) obssesed with dragons and all, but I just started this game because I saw lumine punching the first slime on the game and thought it was fun. But when I saw dvalin for the first time, I was thinking only two things: 1 - No, I'll not kill that shit. Goodbye 2 - Oh god, his design is so... beautiful. I don't want to kill him... Now, Dvalin is my favorite character (Lore, ofc. They wouldn't make an Dragon character playable lmao) Edit: That use a full dragon body

My game crashed right before the prologue cutscene start, in patch 1.0. It took me a few retries restarting the game, waiting for MC picking screen show up. Luckily Mihoyo fixed this bug in patch 1.1 so low Intel graphic card players like me don't suffer it anymore

1:27 fun fact- I didn't know you could hold the shoot button, so i only did single aimed shots, took me 45 mins of pure adrenaline until i finally got it. i was sooo close to write an app store review for genshin that they should make boss fights easier

I started on venti's rerun but stopped on venti's rerun(lmao) bc of my studies and came back again in klee's rerun and stopped again on klee's rerun bc of the same reason, and came back on ayaka's banner.

I originally started playing on Ayakas banner, I was trying to be a high level like other people but I wasn’t the speedrunner, i ended up making many accounts because I kept loosing them because I didn’t make a EMAIL with the account, I also got Mona on one of the accounts, I didnt even know she was a 5star I was like "It’s so easy to get good characters in this game" like srsly I didn’t even know artifacts mattered and 4stars were also good, then on my main account (now) I became non-F2P because of baal and I got Mona. help pls

I started playing because I saw an ad of Genshin here in RU-vid and it was so pretty. Everything is pretty. And because I have trust issues with mobile games' ads vs actual graphics, I downloaded just to see if the the environment looks the same. It does, to my surprise and I did not stop playing since though I take breaks. I remember starting not knowing anything about the game. I just walked around, exploring - which I still do up to now. 😅

ah yes, 1:32, I still vividly remember it took me till ar18 to use teleport waypoints. The first time I learned how to use teleport waypoint is when I was going to fight dvalin the second time🤣

i remember on my first account, i got yae miko on 2.5 update but i didn’t know how to build her. after a month, i made a brand new account just when 2.6 came out. it’s been a year and only now i have logged back into the yae miko account and tried to fix it.

At the start I didn't know I had to follow Paimon. Wandered around and reached Monstadt, got to AR4 and only got the game started about an hour later. Even lit up Windrise on the map before Starfell Lake.

Lmao i remember when i first started playing i didn't use the teleport waypoints at all. I thought they used up resin and also thought that if i ran out of resin i would no longer be able to teleport.

those falling down & not knowing to teleport is so relatable . back then i didn't know how to unlock the map so i would just run & often died from fall damage . i started way back in 1.1 but dropped it for a few months because my old mobile was terrible

5th point for those who have devices with low specifications like me even though the graphics settings are the lowest, like me. 1. When you first enter the game, the game lags for a while, including when entering a new area. 2. The first time I enter a domain, it is always kicked out of the domain. 3. when teleporting, sometimes loading is 2x (repeat loading) 4. When playing together for the first time, sometimes the game lags when friends take their ultis. 5. Can't play hide and seek events, because the loading takes too long, even more than the waiting time before the event starts, so when it's finished loading... I've been caught. thats all xD

I started a new account last week, so I want to share my experience I knew there was a chest on that one rock where we started so I went to get that first, I got the chest then I realized I had to swim back with my default stamina because I didn't unlock the waypoint first. I literally spent 2 hours trying to get back to shore after drowning multiple times

I’ve done the starters quest so many times that I started never missing when hitting Dvalin

My story: When I was new, i didn't knew that u have to unlock the teleport to move the story and I skipped it and went to the main city and started doing the exploration and idk why but I climbed the boundary of the city's back and just fell down from it and died!! I still think about that what I was thinking back then 😭

I used to watch bwaap before actually playing the game so I basically knew what to do....except building my characters. I remember reaching almost AR40 while still using artifacts from chests and adventure rank rewards.

when i was new i got noelle on beginner banner and saw the six ascension stars and thought i somehow got so lucky that i got a 6 star character 💀

i remember the time when i was around ar 20 and completed the monstadt quest i had to go to liyue but didn’t know the way so i just walked the entirety of dragonspine until i got into liyue harbor. not until my friend told me that there was a road to liyue that i could’ve walked instead, i felt so dumb 🥲

Then there was me, neither did missions,explore, just the daily commissions ones...and my friends always trying to get me to explore lol and basically carrying

Here are things I used to do as a new player. (At least what I remember) -Used to feed my characters because I thought it gave them some kinda boost in stats. (Didn't read the food effect) -used to use primos for the standard banner. (And maybe resin) -bump into bosses when my team is not even level 10. (They're lvl 20-30 I believe) got one shot. -used to pick random stuff laying around. (I still do but not as often) -used a weapon because it looked cool. (Lvl.70 cool steel on kaeya) Results of these ... Moments now- 1- I don't waste my food and actually read the effects. 2- _Why would you do that ?_ *WHY DID I DO THAT??* 3- I actually know what I'm doing compared to getting laser'd by the cryo regisvine. 4-i have 1000 berries now ... And 1000 chicken burgers. 5- actually using stronger weapons. So ... Yeah Kinda annoyed for spending my primos on the standard banner. ಠ_ಠ (Started at launch)

Killing timmie pigeons is my go to when i wannna get a huge load of fowls so i just use diluc ultimate and position myself then when the phoenix fly it will kill everything

Newbies today will never know the struggle of accidentally falling into the Cryo Regisvine hole while innocently exploring.

I don't really remember when I started playing... been a couple of months already. But I sure as hell pulled Ningguang and Noelle with my first pull xD I remember exploring good portion of the map before even doing a quest with Dvalin in Monstadt and after eventually completing this quest I went on an adventure (without Gandalf tho) xD But yesterday I decided to 'come back' and do small portion of the story/archon quest before taking off for another adventure~ Oh, I also remember how frustrated I was at the very beginning when I couldn't find 'settings' button to adjust the game to my liking (mainly to change voice over) and gave up after good half an hour of searching to go on with the quest. I felt so dumb when I got access to the game settings soon after that..

Me: *drowns in water just a few seconds after meeting Paimon and controlling the traveller*

In my case, I was a bit of every type shown in the video, so the question isn't what type of player I am, rahter what stage of playing Genshin I am at. I had bugged the Monstadt animation, because I thought that it would be sus to go through the main gate, especially when I did not know who I am and also had no documents, so instead of trying to pass the guards I climbed the wall on the left side, of the city (only there I had enough stamina). The animation wasn't trigger until I passed the main gate for the first time and it was just sound and pitch black. Then I was stacking my exp and didnt level up my AR and when I did, the mobs were too strong because I leveled up the world level like 4 times in an instant, obviously didn't know you can lower your world level so even killing a slime was deadly challenge not mentioning that it was a minut or two of swinging the sword kill it. I also did not realise that there is the wish mechanic and did not wish until the first ganyu banner, and even when I got her I didn't change the starter team until I reached 50 AR level and my team was too bad to take part in every time based challenge during events. Also do remember that on the second day of playing I ventured too the distant land of liyue just to have the map cleared and after having prayed to all of the statues and all the tp points I thought to myself that I am ready to begin doing the quest in monstadt, so i walked back instead of teleporting because it was so much fun exploring the world. Playing from the 1.0 version btw ;)

Player 7 is me for the first couple of days until a friend of mine told me I could just transport myself from place to place : ')
