You can’t make up the rules… the TRUTH along with FACTS makes up the rules. A hypebeats is simply a cornball. They aren’t even really into sneakers. They are into whatever they think conjures HYPE. A hype beast will wear doodoo draws if enough hype surrounded it and others made him/her think it was cool. They are the reason behind spiked prices and resell inflation. They are simply a weasel that does or buys anything based around the “hype” hints the word “hype” beast. And it’s nothing positive about being one. Are you guys hype beast ?🤔🤔🤔. I don’t know about others but I buy what I like, and that’s how the sneaker culture started to those of us who remember. I don’t unlike something based off of me waiting to see if the resell value is high up on it. That’s pure cornball stuff.
UA's saved a lot of sneakerheads hard earned money. We even lost track of what's coming in and what not. If we want something and we missed a drop or entered a raffle and took an L? No worries, UA's got em. 🤷🏻♂️
The resell culture made me fall out of love with buying sneakers and stressing out over releases made me just want to buy converse 70 and buy without raffle chaos.

nah, I can tell johnnys a good guy. I think he’s just saying freedom of speech or something, like not letting Tate and his opinions bother you. like when someone’s being toxic in a video game, u usually just mute and or block them. but sometimes if we want change in the world, we gotta fight back and stick up to those kind of people and try to teach or provide them with a diff perspective. whether ur a girl, learn how to stick up for yourself. or ur a guy friend or family, to also learn how to stick up for them if they can’t for themselves.

Ya it was a big L by Johnny. He’s saying “let him speak his own words and opinion” but earlier in the video he said that if anyone called him a hypebeast he would fight them (although it was back in high school), contradicting statements. It kinda sucks because I really look up to these guys and love the content they bring out. Just disappointing.

Retail or UA sneakerhead. F them resell prices. Finally a solution to the reselling chaos. Them resellers can do what they want but a big chunk of the community is going for UA's now than go through all the hassle in getting what you want for crazy resell prices.

I've learned that I resonate with Johnny's mentality for shoes. Retail or nothing, if I hit or not, cool. There's always gonna be another pair of nice shoes in the future. On occasion, I'll pay for resell here and there, but very rare.
That was the worst take on Andrew Tate. No one is saying he can’t speak his word but with that comes consequences. Social media companies don’t want him on their platforms because he’s violating terms of services. But social media companies are very biased and inconsistent with bans so not every “Andrew Tate” clone will be banned. I also don’t understand how Jonny is saying “you don’t have to respect his (Andrew) opinion just let it go.” Saying misogynistic is not okay and sets us back as a society. Jonny saying respect and let his misogynistic ideas slide is essentially siding with him. You’re either against or with him. I know Johnny isn’t misogynistic in any way but defending Andrew Tate is not a good idea.
Been watching these guys since this show started. This 3 have great chemsitry and they talk a lot of sense whether about the sneaker game in general or just random life advices. They are setting a good example, especially for the kids that are watching this channel. More power to you guys! Peace! 👊
Everyone hatin on johnny bout the andrew tate thing, I’ve only ever heard him tell men to respect themselves and they’re women and to be the best person you possibky can for the people you love, if his delivery too rough for you than you just too stupid to see the message.
2 more to add to the list: The "Fake Sneakerheads"... I hate to see a lot of people in my country, speacially broke ass highschoolers and girls, who keep buying fake hype sneakers which have proliferated on-line, just because of the hype. There are also the "GR Sneakerheads", which I am consider myself one of those. Most of the sneakers in my collection are some rare GR/DS meaning releases that are no longer purchasable outside of the resale market, some of them not even available to cop. I have some in my rotation, and some BNIB
when peoples mood board is already Hidden NY, JJJound, Modernnotoriety, ALD or any hidden Japanese gems and you call them "Pretentious"...that means that you are stil 16 trying to impress each other with vintage rap tees in shorts shorts with your yeezy or Jordans calling each other dude and bro. 9:07 , I’m not a huge sneaker head anymore moved from shoes to vintage t shirts a few years ago, basically just wear vans shoes now, old Skool, sk8 hi, era, authentics etc etc. but I agree I used to thrift everyday all day, just driving and going to stores hunting down pieces, and I found a ton of good ones, like a lot. But now I just cop off of my other reseller friends, and go to vintage shops. I pay a lot more now rather than like 3$ for a piece. But I’m paying for the convenience of them already having a wide selection to chose from and paying for who did the running and sourcing for that shirt to be in the shop or the person who is selling the piece and the work they did. I used to refuse to pay the resell price for t shirts, but now it’s worth it to me. Also, if I was to go back to hype shoes like some Travis 1s I would wear them with some No show socks lol. I can’t wear tall socks, literally make my legs get all rashy and itchy lol
Let's talk about reselling and how it ruins the culture for the next generation. Most sneakers are not sustainable like a piece of art work or a house. so you can purchase a hype shoe and sit on for 5 or 10 years and hope there's still a market looking for that shoe. It's also moving a portion of a upcoming generation to buy Replica's. Lemonade stands are a thing of the 70's> People are getting beat and worse killed for shoes because the supply and demand is so limited and outrageous. Hate the game and people who lean back and give 2 shits about a Kid who's probably not old enough to work or from a broken home to buy that pair because all the 25 and 30 and 40 year olds are stock piling them. BS
definitely a crossover/retail here - i do like some sneakers, like i'd love to get my hands on some travis scott but i'd be happy with some j1 mocha... but i'm still not gonna pay resell price for that, i can live without it, i might end up spending a ton in one shot but i'd get like 4 pairs of some not-hot colors and models instead

The way their trying so hard to defend resellers and diss but then go double and triple back to defend it so it won't mess with their business is astounding lol their all Hypebeast except Johnny they just see the trends in Store reselling and diving into that market resellers affect the ones who truly love collecting shoes who love the shoes for the wear and style but the culture or trend shift going on now, resellers do better with new to the game people who are interested in shoes and a very obvious young child audience little kids see off whites AJ1s and pandas they want it to, girls/guy who got no knowledge or just don't fuck with shoes like that see pandas and whatever comes up as cool and trendy every one is a trend sneakerbandwagon now and days
There’s a difference between a shop and a reseller, sum resseller go to some shop and buy like all shoes and keep them so when the price go up we have to pay crazy price when we could’ve pay them at the time it was cheaper, and also shop depending of them have deals from the factory so they pay less, like when i was working at ssense sum t-shirt we was paying the coast of the factory made and not the selling price
I only buy shoes I like and wear amd fuk what ever one else thinks I don’t care long as I like it sometimes I’ll try to get hyped up shoes that I don’t like just to trade for stuff I want but I don’t try to rip peoples heads and shit
