Instead of the cell phone message tip, why not bring walkie talkies? We brought them to Bonnaroo and used them constantly. We even stumbled on other peoples' channels and had some really fun and interesting conversations with strangers. You can even use them if you have multiple cars roadtripping to the festival.
@@TheFestivalFinesser , we used our kids' walkie talkies and they worked great. I think they were about $20. You are right about the noise though. If you're up front getting crunk you aren't gonna hear it... the biggest plus for us is being able to communicate without relying on our cellphone, and even if the batteries go dead you can just pop 2 AA batteries in and they will work for days. They also have a "page" feature that let's the other one know you are trying to reach them, and morse code so you can flood them with beeps until they get somewhere they can hear... I think a cheap walkie talkie would be a nice addition to your backpack straps. Be right at home above that watch. Could even zip tie the clip for a more secure fit. 🤘
Great tips man will definitely be brining a fan to the forest this year and the watch I would have never thought of but I hate going into my bag to check my phone for the time.
vasilious The more you go on and out of your bag for your phone the more likely you are to lose it! Keep it in your bag or in a zippered pocket! Having a good sense of time is not stressed enough at festivals. If you have a schedule to keep having a watch is crucial!
The Festival Finesser bro I know I’ve had mine stolen twice I’ve been on the zipper pocket shorts for a while now and some shows I don’t even bring my phone and festivals I usually only bring my phone out when I’m not in the thick of the crowd but it’s always a pain in the ass to get to at the very bottom of my bag under my gum portable charger and gloves
If you're struggling to find athletic shorts with zippers look for boardshorts. Most of them have zipper or velcro pockets and are just as comfortable as basketball shorts.

Have you tried compression socks? They come up to your knees. If you have foot pain they are awesome. They keep your feet from swelling. They are a total game changer for me.
@@TheFestivalFinesser oh dang!! Yeah it's some nuts stuff for us PNW show goers. USC is the big local show promoter, they created Paradiso out at the Gorge. From what I have read they embezzled 1.2 mil from insomniac for Diso 2019 and insomniac still ended up paying out vendors and such. Its led to Diso and other festivals out here canceled.😭 Keep up the vids dood! Love the content!💜🖖🧙♂️
I use a big camel back (Ozark Trail) for bigger festivals (camping festivals, Electric forest, EDC etc.) and my Lunchbox bag for smaller festivals. I use a luggage lock with a combination code, not a key because most likely I’ll lose that key, with my Ozark Trail camel back to keep my stuff safe, and my Lunchbox bag is safe already :)
You know you can just get a fanny pack for your phone, keys, and wallet right? (THIS HAS HELPED ME BEFORE) Its also a good idea to bring your own food (check with organizers if your allowed to do so), plus bring toilet paper!
Instead of shopping at “champs” or any other Store go to your local Salvation Army or VOA or whatever (second hand store) and get your clothes and zipper pocket pants guys !!! There’s way too many perfectly good clothing articles at these places that will go to waste and plus your not contributing to consumerism which is the best part 🙃👍🏼
I bring a little spray bottle with water in it and 1 ice cube its refreshing as fuck when you spray it on ur face and helps you stay cool when its hot as hell deep in the crowd
Those hand sanitizers with the rubber loop thing are an essential to have danglin off my camelbak for me and one of those little packs of tissues just in case there’s no tp
The Festival Finesser i mean I give myself babywipe baths In my tent I don’t carry those around I do normally carry those two that I mentioned with me though tissues for extra tp and hand sanitizer .when you have both of them with you in a portapotty you’re able to sanitize the seat for yourself or someone else who isn’t tryna sit on some puke and piss when they’re tryna poop lol

Bboy Saint I could do that but it just helps with my sense of time. It’s nice to know when I got there, when I left, how long we stayed for. I don’t like relying on others. I like having my own system
I can only speak for myself but im sure most of us have beem that persom at one point in the night where you're not feeling saying anything to anyone and just vibing in your own world
