LegendaryGamingChannel people under the age of 11 usually aren't able to feel cringe lol, just pay attention to her repeating the word rich... also your name is horrid
"Merits" do matter, but include far more things than a GPA. Schools look for those who stand out from other applicants. This includes things such as unique interests and many extracurriculars and achievements under their belt. Things that also count are interviews, SAT and other standardized test scores, the essay that is submitted, etc. Donations almost always give those who do not excel in the following criteria I just listed a "free pass."
e.p the begining ik the UK sysytem is pretty fare if your clever enough you can get into universities with the right grades like my brother got into Oxford even though he's from a low middle class family. the sad thing is now my parents always compare me to him 😭😭😭
Correction for columbia (just graduated from there): Our cost of attendance is about $84,000 per year, not $64,000. ACT scores 33-36, Old SAT above 2200 Many of my classmates are graduating into 6 figure salaries (some with bases of $250,000 plus bonus) even in this pandemic economy. Many of my classmates own their apartment in the city, although not the majority, and most stay in the dorms. Spending a couple of hundred for a night out is normal in most circles, and some friend groups even fly out for the weekend. However, for those on financial aid, the school feels very different socially
Nobody becomes a millionaire or a billionaire by working for others and depending on them. Good investment brings millions of dollars and consistency brings billions; the market is all about bitcoin at the moment.
Well, Investment without an adequate knowledge on whatever you're investing in, is a total wait of resources and time. One should first strive to gather enough knowledge in any field he or she chooses to invest in.
@@raymondjefferson9914 you're very right. A lack of the require skills and knowledge is disadvantageous to any kind of investment. It shouldn't just be about investing but making profit too.
Speaking of investing, forex trading is the best business in the world right now with the ever raising amount of bitcoin. I know a couple of friends who makes a lot of money weekly trading the financial market
In my opinion, it does not matter where you went to school, how much money you have, where you came from, or what society thinks of you, or what race you are or religion you believe in, but what does matter is that we all have the opportunity to make something big or small out of ourselves in this life and at the end what matters is if we lived a well-lived life so to anyone out there who doesn't go to an ivy league school like me be you and be proud of where you come from and do something you love with your life and everything will fall through and best of luck and much love friends.
Luis Martinez that’s true, but some of these schools put you in a better situation to succeed. For example, if Evan Spiegel never attended Stanford, Snapchat wouldn’t have existed.
Sandesh Khade hi sandesh if your talking bout st Xavier's and others ... they are good but not to be included in this list.. I hope u agree to it.. considering the fact that 90 percent of the Rich kids don't prefer studying in India... they prefer studying abroad ...
Claire Benitez , i'm a law student in university of mumbai and my yearly fee is just about 205$. In India most of the unversities managed by the govenment of india or the state government of india have very lower cost of education and in some cases next to nothing.
Pooja Verma Only those students study abroad who have to carry on their father's business legacy. However, the kids of celebrities or the celebrities themselves studied in mumbai universities. However, now some celebrity kids who value education more or are interested to study abroad go abroad. Others are not even bothered to attend college and if they do, they get admission into mumbai university just to get a degree. St. Xavier's, HR, Jai Hind etc have a lot of rich kids.
Brown may very well be loaded with the rich and famous and cost a truck load of cash to attend, but it's academic reputation is well deserved. I was the only student on campus who was not a National Merit Scholar. Sure, it's flush with fame and celebrity and wealth (as are all great universities) but it's academics are first rate. If you think getting into Brown was hard, try getting through 4 years of the most challenging academic (read: serious) course work you'll ever encounter. They don't fool around on College Hill. It is not a party school.
Me and my brother was studying at Oxford University. Our annual income is only $35,000. You doesn't have to be super rich... btw.. have you tried loans?

I got my acceptance letter to the University of Kentucky last week LOL. Now personally I think everyone should take their bets with college, skipping it and trying to start your own business is simply an unlucky move. Only a tiny percentage of people ever end up being successful that way.
I went to The City College of New York, a couple of blocks away from Columbia U. Students from Columbia would take our engineering classes and would not be able to keep up. Tuition at City College is about 6k for residents and 20k for non-residents. I now work for a top 10 Fortune 500 company and graduated debt free. Doesn't matter where you go. Just be at the top of your class. The true benefit of going to an expensive school is that they will cater to your every need.
I graduated from a high school that's not bad with 3.53 GPA. It could use some improvements so I wished for a prestigious high school. After that I'm currently attending UIC in Chicago.
I studied medicine at GMC Nagpur in India. One of my batchmates had a BMW 650i convertible and was the son of a cardiologist another one didn't even have a bicycle and was the son of a farm labourer. Both are brilliant doctors and had to learn medicine by examining patients belonging to very poor socioeconomic conditions. In India education from a government institute is equally prestigious for all socioeconomic strata and that somehow brings equity to the society.
DJ Michael Melice i can say list of top 10 bill gates steve jobs micheal dell mark zuckerberg jullian assange larry ellison jon kaum evan williams all are top billionaires
Luxury= The senseless waste of money for things you actually dont need. You so called "Aluxers" really seem to be the smartest people which walked on earth so far...
My aunt went to University of London, she owns one of the most successful salons in the Philippines. She is picking one of my cousins ( including myself ) to send there without having to pay tuition. I hope its me 👏🏻🙏🏻

d Valentine basically yes. If your parents are smart, you get their DNA and most like will be smart too. Smart people are more decayed and make more money, the cycle continues forever. That's why those top universities accepts students if their parents are alumni, they know the rules :)
@5MinuteMovies you make no sense my man. Rich people are usually smart because they have more opportunities than poor people. This has nothing to do with DNA, when you have money you can do everything.
Considering that both success in school and IQ directly correlate to wealth, I'd say it's a very logical statement. How many billionaires are not smart?
You have a better chance of becoming a millionaire if you are already rich and if you study economics. Economics can be studied in London without going to the L.S.E., but they are more likely to sell you a degree than the other colleges.
Schools broadens our perspectives by making us practically knowledgeable - some drop outs were fortunate to witness practical knowledge way before they went to school hence why success came to them earlier people who were less fortunate to witness practical knowledge later received success after graduating from collage. Hope I made some sense.
Because in the US most unis act as a business which are there to make as much profit as possible. But I would wish Americans to have cheaper universities. In Germany unis are paid mostly with taxes so fees are much lower. (exceptions to this of course are private institutions)
Ciro Ramirez Drums I wish but it is what it is you have to have money to get a good education in this world. I wish I lived in Cuba or Germany where it cost next to nothing..
My best friend from second grade graduated from Harvard college and went to medical school. Haven't been in touch with when for awhile, but she's most likely now a doctor. I'm a fucking nobody who wasn't able to complete my degree and probably never will. I can barely afford to feed myself or pay my bills. Unfortunate how a few differences in circumstances affect the rest of your life.
for the rich meaning... only rich people survive unless you're extremely smart.. loans & money allowance will destroy you if you enter plus considering the fact that you gotta socialize with rich kids
Dunno where you're from but from here you get a loan for college that you start paying off once you're fully emplyed, and its taken straight out of your salary so you ''don't really notice it'', its also taken out in very small ammounts, although if you choose to pay at such a slow pace it could take 20+ years to pay off the whole loan.
+Yoons Tube Except it's the parents of those kids that are rich, and they probably take away their allowance of $100,000 a week if they stop going to school. :-) I find it hard to believe that many of them made their own money, considering they are only around 20 years old.

University of Mumbai?! Really?!!? Almost every student in Mumbai gets their degree from that university. University of mumbai is nothing but a university that issues degrees. Nobody srudies in that university. The colleges are affiliated with mumbai university and MU will simply conduct an exam and provide a degree and thats it.
"Home of the rich" "Home of the wealthy" "Home of the rich and wealthy and smart" Why did you have to add those obnoxious slurs after every university? I cringed every single time.
The reason why rich kids go to Oxford University is because people KNOW that the college tuition is really high. And I guess some of the students were dropped out because they couldn't pay their college tuition
Levin Steiger thing is alux is shit and whilst those universities are great they are also not quite expensive (tho I can only say that for Zurich since I am probably gonna study there, don't know about Geneva or Monaco..)
price doesnt matter to wether rich people go to it or not. comes down to the demographics of the city, geneva zurich and monaco are all full of wealthy young people
In a nation where education is monitized, and the poor has virtually no chance of becoming wealthy, you can understand why there is so much drug use, suicide, and crime.
If your university gave you good degree and you enjoyed your college life ,if it was free of racism and you made few friends who are still with you that is the best university.
Lawrence Jones Yes, I have actually thought about it but it requires huge capital investment. I would like to know both major and minor capital investment opportunities.
To avoid this rabble, you can always go to one of the nerd counterparts (if you're truly brilliant, of course). MIT instead of Harvard Drexel instead of U of P Cal Tech instead of Stanford Georgia Tech instead of Duke, which usually makes these lists.
"If you want to participate socially, you need to spend thousands of dollars." That quote sums it up for all the "rich kids" schools. If you are merely middle class and want to have a pressure-free social life, go to a university with other middle class kids. Just because a university has rich kids, does not mean you will know them or be their friends! You need money to keep up with the luxury class. If you don't have money, you will go into debt trying to curry favor with these kids. And you won't be able to afford their exotic vacations. Read House of Mirth by Edith Wharton about what happens when you try to keep up with the rich.
Let me save your time 10. American University in Dubai 9. University of London 8. Stanford University 7. University of Oxford 6. University of Mumbai 5. University of Pennsylvania 4. Brown University 3. Yale University 2. Columbia University 1. Harvard University
_I am graduated from it._ The grammatically correct version of that sentence is either: 1) *I graduated from it.* OR 2) *I am a graduate of it.* Silly slumdogs really amuse me with their English.
"Most of the students attending Oxford are super rich". What absolute bollocks. It's made even worse by the fact they justify this assertion by given an example of one person. And furthermore, you absolutely don't need money to get into Oxford.
