What's a protection spell ???

I want so much to make myself an altar, I can do it in my Father's house, but not in my Mother's. 'cause I share a bedroom with my sister, and there isn' t any place to put anything on it.... Bruuuh . . . Update, I found the place anyway, and I can turn some candles on when my mother doesn't see me(since the bedroom is quite small, she doesn't want anything to burn out) but I'm allowed to use them to my father's.

Instead of a bell can I use a singing bowl?

Is it better to carve/make or buy a wand?

ok so can somebody answer my question: basically, a couple of weeks ago I was at my friend's house for a couple of days. I made the mistake of leaving my tarot deck on her desk, and when I was not in the room, she took it and started to play around with it. i don't like people touching my spiritual stuff, especially without my permission. then like last week my mom knocked my crystals over from their stand on my alter because she was mad at me, and i didn't like that either. i feel like i might be just overreacting or being selfish because i won't let people touch my spiritual items, but i don't know. can somebody tell me honestly?

I just want to note that non-Indiginous witches shouldn’t be using white, blue, or black sage, or palo santos as those are sacred for some tribes. It is appropriative if you are not in one of those communities to use those herbs. There are lots of alternatives available that anyone can use without appropriating cultures and practices that are closed. 💜

I live in Orlando Florida and just visited Avalon for the first time on Tuesday with my mom 😊❤️ I usually go to Spiral Circle down the street but I’ve heard such good things about the shop I had to check it out. I’m going back soon to add some herbs to my ‘arsenal’ and bring my friend to visit since they have a huge Selection for Hindu practices as well. Love and light!

I have two wands but neither r made from tree but I’m pretty sure they r both wood but one might be plastic. One was a gift that I like for protection spells and one I made from a dowel rode that I use for self love magick. Even though they rn’t real wands do they still work for my magick?

Ok. First ot all I stan a black witch. I know sometimes there things we have to overcome community wise to get to where we are,secondly because when we turn to magic it's usually as an answer to a life long sense of otherness that is finally acknowledged and addressed! And wouldntcha know it,its also super empowering. Generally when people are explaining the way they so crafts it's so unlike the way I do crafts but we seem to operate in a similar way. Maybe this is because I'm self taught,I just research and do what's nattural. Adapting where I need to. Haven't gotten into any issue yet. Except when I tried blood magic. That was scary. Anyway,I feel like I can actually comfortably learn from you and that's so exciting
