My fav is wearing boots. They make me feel special and I associate them with going back to school , learning , opening doors , accepting the change of season and coziness .
That's easy...A NiceTrench or Coat & a scarf. I don't care what you wear underneath...a nice coat/trench paired with a nice scarf elevates everything. Not mentioned would be a nice clean leather bag.🥰
I love how you incorporate different ethnicities/races in the examples you provide. Elegance is typically portrayed by the media as one look only but you prove that a lady can be elegant no matter her natural hair texture or colour.
Ana's cultural competence, sensitivity and inclusiveness are the main reasons I follow her and value her advice as more than just another "talking head". Her content is superb, but her multi-ethnic approach is the icing on the cake! @AnaBey
@@Sexxxyism However you like. I'm of average height but I have the world's ugliest legs. Therefore until I get the spider veins taken care of, I have to wear long skirts and pants. 😐😞
Anna, I would LOVE to see a "What I wore this week" style of video from you where you show us your outfits every day and explain why you choose to wear those pieces. Thank you for another great video!
I got so many compliments this summer, I have upgraded to linens and silk, elegant and feminine clothes. I have not changed my fashion sense, just put more effort in expressing it, just by putting in some thought and time. It lifts my mood and makes me feel better and more confident, therefore I am in a better mood. Thank you Anna🥰
Hi Anna.. i'm Rudy, a single dad. I just want you to know I'm learning a lot from you. I have a lovely 8 year old daughter and I'm doing some research on how to raise her properly . I just wish that someday she'll be able to carry herself elegantly. Once again, thanks Anna.
That's clever planning on your part! I only wish that I'd been taught about smart clothing choices much earlier. That knowledge would've prevented my youthful purchase of celery-green eyeshadow, for example. 🤢 Once she's educated about which colours and styles suit her, shopping becomes 'way faster. Also less expensive because illogical items don't get a second glance. Please also consider consignment and thrift stores. Good on ya, good luck and have fun with her!
Can you make a video about trousers? Different materials, styles, how it’s supposed to be tailored, etc? I’d love to learn about this piece and how to use it without looking too “formal” on a daily basis. Thank you!
Anna, I was picking an outfit for an important job interview and I wanna say I’m so grateful for your guidance! All your elegance tips make me feel really confident today ♥️
Those are true lifesavers dear Anna! Fall fashion can sometimes be confused with winter fashion, but you broke it down so well, I am looking forward to styling new outfits using these autumn touches!
Yesterday, I wore a silk scarf, with a simple linen dress, for the first time since May (California summers are too hot). It felt so great. I’ve always worn them, and until recently I’m usually the only one around who does. I just can’t resist their softness, femininity and soft colors, and they make simple outfits so much more interesting. I’m glad they are back “in style”, I never thought they were really out.
I admire how you changed your life, please could you do a video on outfit fits for curvy ladies. I love light colours and riding boots, but I have heavy thighs that makes it look impossible, what are the alternatives for us?
Yes, totally agree. All these ladies from the pictures look amazing in anything with their supermodel figures and it would be nice to see some styles for curvy ladies.
Definitely agree I’m a curvy girl with DD chest & my calves are pretty huge due to bone structure on top of my size 10 feet. I’d love to hear tips for the curvier girls in the boot area. I find the over knee boots to work for me since they stretch however riding boots especially in leather are hard to find for my wide calves.
Long, flowy skirts that hit you at the exact right point (ex. If you have small ankles, just above ankle length to show then off, if you have ankles you prefer to hide, go with almost floor length), paired with ankle boots - a friend of mine always ROCKS this look in fall!
@@kizzyellis7365 Your options. 1. Buy wide calf knee high boots. If you order online- MEASURE your calf and check the calf width of the boots BEFORE you buy. The description box has that information. 2. Go to a store, try on the boots, before buying. 3. Buy regular width calf boots. Go to a shoe repair shop, have matching elastic inserted into the calf.
Hmm I personally love the pumpkin Spice latte, so I don’t I think I care too much if it’s basic. There are limits to trying to stand out, and I don’t think I would compromise on my beverage preferences in order to feel special. Well that’s my opinion about that, great video, huge fan☺️💞
Love you loads, Anna. You've helped me so much groom myself, and there isn't a day I don't get praised and appreciated for my dressing at work. And also, you deserve a big thank you for letting me know my self worth and not settling for less.
How could any person ever dislike Anna' s video? You don' t even have to agree with her in questions of style if you don' t see elegant clothing as your thing- but come on... Anna is just a lovely, sweet, very kind and charming person, I could listen to her talking about any topic, for hours. Just because I love the way she presents herself and let' s be honest- she definitely knows what she is talking about. Wish I had discovered her channel earlier, it might have saved me lots of money I spent on ridicoulos looking clothes and precious time I wasted on men that treated me like garbage.
Happy teacher's day Anna 🥰 you're the best teacher I've ever found ❤️ you totally changed my whole life. The things you're teaching me is not only important to me because it's going to polish me lifestyle but it's working on who I wanna be, what's my goal, how to reach success with full confidence and elegance 🥰 thank you so much
I would add turtlenecks and mock necks that you can layer under dresses and midi skirts with the heeled boots that always looks elegant as well as the quilted vest/jackets over the turtlenecks that add to the equestrian sort of style. Also felt brim hats and felt newsboy caps that will be trendy this season but are also a very classic elegant look for the fall!
This aligns perfectly with me going to shop tomorrow! Thank you, Anna!!! I'd love to hear you talk more about color palettes and combinations that flatter each other!
Congratulations Ana on 1M subscribers!👏👏👏. I subscribe to you when you were at about 72K and I was surprised you didn't have more at that time. I was like.. "this girl is offering soo many golden nuggets". I am so happy for you! I always thought you can across very genuine and I believe you are a very genuine person. 🌺🌺🌺
To me, looking elegant and put together during the Fall is knowing what outerwear and accessories to pair with very simple looks. Your blazer, cardigan or boots elevates everything. Maybe a nice hat or scar also.
I love your videos cause as a 61 year old woman and one who is able to wear better quality clothes after losing 120 pounds. I was lost for a while but your channel has been great in helping me.
Hey Anna! Thank you for putting in all the hard work. I have a request, could you please do a video for ladies in universities and how they can dress up? and also on how to style the hijab elegantly. Thank you.
@@edennis8578 I still work in academia. I stand out from the other ladies because I invest time into my appearance. I am sometimes startled at how women in the university world dress, especially when they are presenting.
You keep blossoming yourself. And it inspires me. Your presentation in your videos was always good, and it keeps getting better. You were fantastic in this video. Magnetic, engaging, kind eyes, in control the whole time. Well done, my elegant lady!
Anna, I love that you are including diverse examples of women in your photos. It helps to give an idea of what these colors look like on different skin tones.
*What* you enjoy doesn't make you basic. *Why* and *How* make you basic. Drink your latte, but if you only do it to take photos for social media, then you're basic.
I have a neutral heavy linen (good quality material) loose trench coat from Marks & Spencer that I paid close to $100 USD for and you can tell that even though its now wrinkled (I packed it in a super stuffed suitcase to travel back to the US along with another million items I took with me) it can be steamed and straightened out and look amazing. I have a structured trench coat in Navy which is beautiful, to match my structured yet comfortable Navy peacoat. I also have a grey overcoat that is also made of quality material and warming on the side and looks chic. all three of these came from Old Navy and you'd never know in person if I don't tell you. It can be done, it just takes finding the right materials at the right prices!
Hi I am 15 and I really like the elegant sophisticated Style but I feel like it’s mature for this age Could you please do a video on how to look elegant for teenagers? I really love your channel!
I love this video, it’s giving me inspiration for fall. But it can be hard to find elegant clothes on a budget for curvy women/fuller busts. Especially finding tops that don’t look big and frumpy in order to properly cover the cleavage or elegant pants that aren’t too tight in certain areas and loose in others 😩
I don’t miss any of these videos where you give your precious tips on how to be elegant on a budget, I always find new ideas or new ways to wear what I have in my wardrobe yet.
@@mslisadianemorse for a while I had to go cleaning and babysitting , years back. I always wore some Thomas Sabo perfume , it made me feel dignified. Even though it was a modest price perfume , but it did the trick ! 💕💕sending love
@@edennis8578 I worked with a girl who complained about scents but I told her I NEED it. Scents calm my nerves and calming my nerves is more important to me than her whines. She needed to grow up.
Here in Brazil, we don’t have a very cold winter and not even snow… but I live in the southern part of the country, in São Paulo, where the temperature can arrive to less than 15o C in winter, so the ponchos are very useful and not so heavy… happy I have and use all these pieces you mentioned… so much love from Brazil, my dear elegant Anna 😘🌹❤️
If you aren't sure how the different sizes of scarf should be tied, almost all the scarves for sale on the Hermes website have a step by step graphic showing one way to wear it. There are a lot of traditional options demonstrated, but they share some really novel ways of styling scarves as well. Be blessed, ladies. Enjoy scarf season!
Hi Anna, thank you so much for this video and the tips. I would've loved to see how you style the items you mentioned, think it would be more interesting and useful than seeing images from the internet x
Thank you Anna! Your videos have been so helpful on my femininity journey. Could we see a video on the different style personality types with outfit examples?
Dear Ana, please do a series for body size specific elegant styles, I am 5 feet tall and the rider 👢 are definitely a No for me. Likewise, for other ladies might have a different issue, maybe they are to tall and can’t wear much of a heel. I think it would be well received.
Absolutely love your advice....as a Mommy of 5. Have very little budget to spent on myself! I also want my kids to dress classy and stylish. Very challenging with our income.....also trying to pay off all debt. Maybe one day......
Ladies, if you like pumpkin spice and it's making you feel cozy and warm and brings joy into your life, please do it. Let's not judge each other by their coffee order
Recently I bought a lilac trench coat. Managed to find a store selling petite as most trench coats are far too long as I’m quite a short person. But I invested in a lilac one and I wore it to an interview today and my work coach though I looked very smart.
Pumpkin spice has gotten a bad reputation for being common but why not indulge every now and then? And of course don’t rattle on about pumpkin spice lattes 24/7 which is not fun for anyone around you ☺️
@@mirandam5746 we have StarBucks but theres very limited stores and in locations people don’t really go… also most expensive coffee in comparison to other coffee shops in Australia.. conversely, they’ve apparently had to close down before due to strong Coffee culture in Australia that wasn’t met by Starbucks but are slowly trying to make a comeback
Hi Anna, I wore culottes with boots when I was seven years old (and I am now 50) and I've loved it ever since! It also makes your waist look small. Win win! Thanks for including it in your list. Best wishes, Kim
I see what she means about neutral colors being timeless and endlessly coordinatable but personally.... I not only look horrible in all neutral colors but I quite frankly find them very boring and I hate wearing them. What I would love to see is a fashion tip video on colorful clothes! I know I can't be the only one that loves bright flamboyant color.
