@@hemanth6951 I also can’t understand why they still suggest going freelance as only few developers can earn enough this way. Freelance was good in early 2000x. Now anybody can hire a “developer” from India or Pakistan ten times cheaper.

@@chuckycheeser I need to clarify. I wasn't a programmer, I was tired of getting rejected from jobs and start considering to become a programmer instead. But this video actually tells me that it's normal to get rejected from jobs. Therefore there's no need to start learning something new from scratch.

@@fitrianhidayat It's normal to get rejected because most people are potatoes and not worth hiring. If you are passionate about computers then I still recommend learning and building a project you are passionate about.

@Kingdom Cre8tive It all depends where you are from actually. I am from Pakistan, network market is saturate here. I think I can do well in web development I don't care If I have to start from zero there is growth in it. I will be freelancing actually not looking for a job. I want to create stuff. Thats what I wanted always.

Sometimes as a developer I feel “too employable” which makes it hard to choose where to go with it (analysis paralysis). Not many other professions have this much flexibility! Awesome video-really enjoyed these insights from someone who has actually done a lot of these

Definitely make a small software on the side and sell it. I have made quite a bit with this route. I still have a job but it was a great decision to make something on the side. One thing you can do is if you have a job and you write your own utility to solve a problem at your job, turn that into a product. If you find a need and fill it with your software it has a good opportunity for growth.

I recently started a path through developing Digital Products (plugins and extensions), specifically chrome extensions and fortunately I am getting a few customers (paid ones) out of it. But since I'm a beginner, I wonder if there are more in-depth content about this path in order to improve.
