This tutorial was the best I have seen. She had her plan laid out. She was informative and sharing her finds and costs will be helpful to the audience. Lastly, she didn't hem & haw, was precise and didn't waste time suddenly looking for her notes. Her examples shown were beautiful and enhanced the room as well as cost effective; her DIYs were very affordable but look very expensive. Love the paint and the trim on a focal wall. How do you decide what type trim to use on the focal wall. Thanks for a wonderful tutorial.

Very SMART building your own little bench. The prices these days for wood (and even fake wood) furniture is absolutely ridiculous and I refuse to pay them. I make due with what I have and understand - this is why thrifting is really big these days. You can find great quality furniture for great prices - solid wood and if you don't like the finish you can paint it or refinish it or hire somebody to do it for you and you'll be saving a lot of money. Your tips are spot on, good video.

Just found this channel. Really like these ideas! I got into a new house about a year ago and have been planning to decorate and even build some stuff. I am able to work with all kinds of tools, hence these ideas are just up to my alley. I see far too many DIY channels having some interesting looking idea in the initial add to the site. But they often have just 1 idea worth of trying, the rest are vases and baskets from dollar stores spray painted and some ridiculous cheap bow added to it. These ideas look professional and not hard to create. Thanks.

These are all excellent ideas. I love those framed TVs, but I can’t even figure out how to properly hang mine. Being skilled with a saw is a greatly underrated skill. I also had no idea faux fireplaces were so inexpensive!

Oh Ashley, I love the frame TV and you are absolutely correct I don’t care how much I like my Samsung TVs. I never paid that much for them and I’m not going to pay that much for the help. Lol so thank you for helping me turn my old Samsung cheap TVs into reality with everybody else.❤️❤️❤️ WOW! WOW! Love your channel; I just discovered it 2 nite, and it helps that u have a sweet & genuine presence! I'll be tuning in. Just a little tip, instead of buying inserts for throw pillows, I take pillows, I already have and put covers over them, so I can really reimagine & repurpose a pillow, and I go back to the original when I feel like it, and it spares me from having to find a place to store a myriad of pillows! 💜🥰

BEST and most helpful information. I can't say it enough. I've watched home design shows forever, I stage homes I 'refreshed' and sold homes. I had a business 25 years ago embroidered and hand sewn custom items and could NOT find the information you provided on case size vs insert size. I admit I haven't looked for the info for years and the internet has so much more info out there, but I was surprised when you showed it. Subscribed immediately on a never before seen channel. You showed the bed pillow set up, I thought I hope she has info on the case size and then you did!.. What can I say about THE BENCH? WOW

Our primary bedroom is small- 12 by 12. We have a king bed which pretty much consumes the room. I wish we could have a fireplace but that’s not realistic for us. And a bench at the end our bed I would love but we don’t have the right space to safely walk around the bed without stubbing our toe. Would love to see a video on how to make small spaces look expensive
