Thank you for this video! I'm sending it to my husband to watch. My fave has always been the edge panel, using the Tasks or Smart select for my screenshots.
👍🏻 Nice job! I'm heavily dependent on my Note 8 stylus, so my first choices are Smart Select and Screen Write. But happily, i seem to have a few bonus features, from what i see in your video: 🔹 My Screen Write offers to scroll the screen to extend the screenshot (great for web pages etc). 🔹 And my Smart Select offers to convert to text what it sees in the screenshot. ℹ️ Here is a workaround if you don't have the text-scraping option .. you can take your screenshot, and immediately share it to Google Lens which will help you select text to copy, plus a few more bells and whistles for free.
wow... super handy dandy tips. most of them I knew already, I'm currently using the double or something back-tap for taking screenshot, but I'll try the nav bar extra button
This was a great video. I found out I could use One Hand Operation + and long swipe and get a quick tools UI that had a bunch of shortcuts, including screen capture.
I used to use double tap on the back. But I have my phone in a car holster. And sometimes it accidentally takes a screenshot just by the rattling of the car. So I just use the volume down and side key as my go-to.
Edge panel take screenshot is my preferred no 1 option on my samsung S9, and also pin to screen in edge super handy and useful, it's not available on any other phone I guess iphones and pixel sure not
I wonder if their is a way to program power plus volume down to program it to anything we want or allow it to act as an old bixby button that could be programmed
But where is the setting that makes pressing volume and power simultaneously actually be an option that works? Because my s23 doesn't have that, and I'm losing my fkn mind with the awful palm swipe or drag down from top menu options that are the only ones that my phone gives me right now.
I think #7 will be my new favorite, I always had the side panels turned off, until now. When I would run a speed test, I wanted to include the time of day I did it, this will allow me to do that without feeling like I would need to jump through forty eleven hoops just to take a FULL screen shot. THANK YOU!!! I have been a screen shot button at the bottom for a long time, but now I think #7 will move into that position, again thanks.
I wish their is a way to disable screen Shot when instantly pressing the power + volume down button it would be amazing if I could program that to open Google assistant or something else I want it's kinda redundant to be honest.
I use the side buttons 95% of the time. I've got doing it one handed down to a science so if I'm not holding it then I just use my index and middle fingers. If I'm holding it then it just takes my thumb tip and the knuckle behind it.
I tap the back of the phone 3 times, which I've gotten mixed results from. Sometimes it works right away but sometimes I have to do it 3 times. But it's better then it was when that feature just came out, I would get screenshots whenever I put my phone down which was annoying, but it doesn't do that anymore. I really miss 3 finger swipe down from my OnePlus devices for screenshots. It was such a great feature and I've been hoping Smasung would do the same but so far nope.
I use micro gesture app (motion gestures u move the phone in selected directions and u can use these for navigation back, tasks, homescreen, open notifications, take screenshot, open Quick settings, open volume panel, open an app and more. Its like the one hand operation + app from Samsung but with motions gestures It's a way to use easily your phone with one hand too
