These are such fun ideas! I also love Wallace's cameo near the end, and the fact that when you pushed his feet back he just stayed there like, "Meh, whatever. She paid attention to me." Cats...*smh* lol!
Oh my gosh!! Wallace kicking the planner. Best thing ever!! I miss my cat so much. We lost him to mouth cancer before we moved to Tennessee. Please more cats in the planner area please!! Love it. I wish you could do more patreon spreads, I love those, I love an hour of you just planning away. But I know life gets in the way. And you have a lot on your plate. this was so fantastic this will add a whole new world to my planner as I've been a scrapbooker fan for 15 years so I have paper! have a great week I'm so happy and proud of you for sharing you are getting mental help with someone. We just lost a friend to suicide this week

I use scrapbook paper in my journals all the time. In my planner, I primarily use it to make special pages but never thought to incorporate it in the weekly, monthly or dashboards. I loved all the ideas for using it in boxes, sides and corners. I'm gonna try it more in my planner. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing! I didn’t know that HP made a box punch. I’m going to get one so I can use some of my pretty scrapbooking paper like that, and the other ways you showed. This would also be a great way to use small pieces of leftover Christmas wrapping paper. Thank you!
Thank you for this reminder and all the new tips for using scrap book paper in planner layouts! I used to use a lot scrap book paper in my first Happy Planner, because it was kind of difficult and expensive to find nice box stickers (There were not many resellers in my country, and I also wasn’t aware of all the etsy shops). I had bought the classic size box punch on my trip to USA and I also had (and still have) a lot of scrap book paper.

Love, love, love ALL of your spreads!! I remember when I first started using mixed media in my planner, I would do the exact same thing! Ok, you’re making want to go back into my paper stash. Wallace is adorable. That foot said it all, ‘Mom, I want some attention, your planner can kick rocks’, lol. I love cats though so they can get away with a few things with me. Hug Bumble for me.

So far the only ways I have used scrapbook paper in spreads has been punching out boxes, tearing and placing in random spots on spreads. I love the idea to out a strip in the center or across a whole row and in the median next to discs. You are so creative Mary Ellen.

I absolutely love when you do the scrapbook paper! So pretty!!! Love I need to make a folder of all of your ideas... Lol It's been baby steps for me!!! I started doing the monthly's! I have more stickers to work with now, so after the move I'll be working on doing it more if my neck and back allows me to!!! 🙃
At my local Michael they had the scrapbook papers for like $5 for a humongous book. Super excited to use it. I bought it because I have a problem LOL but now I have a different ways to use it.
Loved this video! I currently do some of the things you mentioned because I have watched your videos showing the use of scrapbooking paper in planners so this was a great refresh on using scrapbooking paper. I use a planner…I make cards…and do scrapbooking so I always have paper scraps leftover and some of the paper scraps are just too pretty to throw away. Thanks for this video…it will kick start me to use up more of my paper scraps in my planner.

I love using scrapbook paper in my planner, but I don't do it often enough! (I also started out as a scrapbooker, then card maker, and now a planner!) Thanks for jogging my memory! I have used it ripped in opposite corners, layered, cut boxes, and even cut out images to use around my pages. I think I will challenge myself to use scrapbook paper in my planner next week.
Great ideas! Since I don’t use the monthly in my planner i decorate by cutting monthly boxes in coordinating colors with my Cameo and cover the days. Makes it cute but still functional if I need to use it.
Love your ideas. I have some of the same paper. I just did a spread for “Pride Day”. Yes…June. I have to do the ideas when I think about it. I did each colored paper vertically with all different designs for the spread. It turned out great! You should try it.
Thank you for the idea! I have lots of primary color scrapbook paper and maybe I’ll try to do this on one side and on the backside I’ll put a lot of the pride stickers I got a year or so back when the This is Us Stickers pride were on clearance at Michael’s.
Love your ideas. It was nice seeing spreads that I remember you creating. I have used some of the ideas you mentioned. I just did a destash a week ago and kept some monthly dividers to use in my spreads. The first thing I planned is to punch boxes. TFS🌷🌞

OMG! I lost it when Wallace got up on the table and was walking around on everything and then started pushing the planner out of the way...LOL. I miss having a cat so much sometimes...maybe there is a cat in my future (just don't tell my hubby) :-) This was an awesome video and gave me lots more ideas on how to use scrapbook paper in my planner. Right now, I basically just use the Big Box Punch, which is great, but even then it doesn't completely fill up the box once it is punched out :-( Thanks so much for all of the ideas and I loved seeing your sweet kitty too ♥
I love the Dashboard layout, I've tried the other layouts and i just feel like they don't work for me, but I'm running out of fresh new ideas on how to decorate it, i feel like ive hit a rut! I need Dashboard Layout ideas....I love your style and watch your videos all the time, but i just cant seem to put ideas i get from you to work for dashboard.
I bought my first couple of Happy Planners in March on clearance and I didn't realize that they had the solid strip in the middle. My planners are called Wild something and they have a khaki green, mauve and a peach color in the middle strip. I don't have a punch yet so it's been a bit challenging.
