Started using seal and shine new formula in 2021 and definitely is the best shine and beading I've ever experienced in my 40 years of wax products. If your car is never garaged, it loses it's protection and shine in 6 to 8 weeks just as the other waxes do. The key to keeping a great protection and shine is to wax your car every 2 months ( 6 times) throughout the whole year if your car is never garaged. Seal & shine is amazing and the price of about $12.00 a bottle is fantastic!!
I honestly don't mind maintaining and re-applying wax ever 2 months, in fact that sounds relaxing to do, I just bought a spray wax today and I do look forward to the process :)
To me, TW hybrid Solutions ceramic spray coating+TW ceramic wax & wash have done excellent job on my cars with great protection and crispy, deep shine.
Hybrid ceramic is my go to. Especially the one made for black cars. Since I have black and white cars I use both. I put two layers and the protection is AMAZEBALLS. The gloss is second best to the ceramic graphene wax from turtle wax. I like the hybrid ceramic as a topper so much I normally buy three bottles at a time to make sure I don't run out.
ive used the ceramic wet wax and the flex graphene. i really cant tell the difference, then again every month or so i use one of them as a drying agent and applied to a still wet car. For the price, ease of application and look i've stopped buying the high priced (overpriced) alternatives. my next new vehicle...no messing with ceramic or whatever is the "coating of the day", i'm just using the turtle products. you can pay a lot more for minimal return on shine and durability (and a lot of those are less durable). thanks for the update.
HCW just about still there, the others are pretty much expired to my eye! Thanks for keeping the test going. I'd move to the next test at this point... Is it time to refresh those headlights buddy?! Stay cool! Tfs
The headlights definitely need a once over. I cleared them up when I was tested the Mothers Head Light Kit and they surprisingly stayed clear for 3 months with no sealant on top
Awesome! please continue!. Simple test and to the point, I wonder at that level of performance from spray products why anybody would use past waxes not to mention the solvent odors some of them have !!
Well I noticed you did 4 passes with mitt over the SnS and FlexWax without flipping your mitt and only did 2 passes over the Hybrid Ceramic, flipping the mitt after the first pass, essentially scrubbing it half as much as the other 2. ;) I haven't seen the other washes but if they were done the same, IDK...might explain some of results. I've seen TW SnS last longer on other tests that included these and 303 graphene and the TW SnS and 303 were pretty much tied for the longest lasting so who knows....
I usually edit out some of the wash process so there may have been more passes over the ceramic spray. Turtle Wax says that the longevity of Hybrid Ceramic Spray should be longer than the other two and so far these results show that. Also I should mention that I’ve gotten similar results on other daily drivers that I’ve applied these on
I can’t believe these results from a spray on product. I feel like my liquid sealants and paste waxes start to fail after 2-3 months and my 2 hours+ spent begins to feel like a waste. If I can get this type of performance on something I can do in an initial 30-45 minutes, coupled with super easy top-offs on my subsequent washes, then this is the way to go.
Please continue with the current test. I have all three products and would love to see how they do out to six months or longer if they’re still working.
Excellent testing! I've used the Seal N Shine and use the TW ICE spray wax as a topper. Perhaps Seal N Shine may be more durable with the ICE spray wax topper. I don't think you need to continue with another test, but up to you. Thanks and great video.
I think I’ll continue the test because it seems more people want to see how long each will go before completely dead; I might start doing monthly update videos instead
See no need to continue this test. There’s a clear winner although I know the Seal n Shine folks don’t wanna admit it. Soft99 Fusso Coat is on my cars now and I may never change!!
I like Seal N Shine for how cheap I can get it now. I’ve seen at Walmart on sale for 10 bucks a few times and that’s in Canadian dollars to boot. You’re right though, there is a clear winner and people don’t like to see that sns isn’t some miracle product; chemical resistance may be great but a lot of products and better gloss and hydrophobics
@@TheCarDetailingChannel both the old formula S&S and new formula S&S are both great products but let’s be honest, if someone can’t afford $8 more for a better product then they probably don’t need to be detailing to begin with😂. Here in Alabama S&S new is 8.97 and TW Ceramic Spray is 16.97 so it’s not like Ceramic Spray is gonna break the bank😂!. Heck I use Black Ice from The Last Coat and it’s $50 for bottle that’s half the size. However I’ll get a years real world protection out of it.
The main reason I say move on to another test is there are new products out now. These 3 TW products have been reviewed over and over by everyone. So put one of these up against the newer products like NuFinish Ceramic. Just a suggestion.
Did anyone else notice that when the water sheets off the Flex Wax portion had nearly zero water on it? I don't care if it doesn't have the tightest beads, if the panel has no water left on it, you won't get water spots.
You read my mind Gabe! I recently picked up the Nu Finish and it’s made a good first impression on me so far. Once this test is put to bed, I think I’ll be doing TW Ceramic Spray Vs Nu Finish Vs Mother’s CMX
@@TheCarDetailingChannel Nice!! I picked up some last weekend and did my mom's 2019 Lexus ES and it cane out awesome! Lighter colored cars won't have issues but dark cars streak with this product. It's very oily feeling and smells AWFUL but it works really well and seems to be durable from tests I've seen online. My money is on the nu finish. TW Ceramic spray coating is much more pleasant to use and feels way more slick after applying. Either way both are good, I just happen to think nufinish will win the durability contest.
Flex wax has to be properly maintained and mainly used as a topper for the liquid max wax and it needs to be maintained with ceramic car wash and occasionally used as a drying aid between washes to reinvigorate the shine and beading and u will get 12 months protection. Its not really meant to be used as a stand alone product, u can but dont expect more than two or three months protection
I don't like Flex wax . It works well after a lot of work trying to level It out. It's so streaky even if you barely apply it. My test cars which I have used 3 are always clean have something on them all the time. the ICE line is Turtle waxes claim to fame. There is no need to make anything else. I think Flex wax needs to go back to formula and fix the streaking issue. Seal N shine will streak if you use to much but nothing like Flex wax. They say you can use it as a drying aid, what a joke there. It sucks as a drying aid. I'm throwing out my 3/4 bottle of this crap and sticking with Seal N shine + Ice spray wax as a topper. Nothing wrong with that combo and it lasts a long time. Sorry Turtle wax, I had high hopes for this product. I rushed right out and got it when it hit the market but since that day I can't get it work work well on any car. I have tried 4 different cars now and all of them it's an issue. Maybe I got a bad bottle? Another thing it jams the trigger up. I always give it a good shake before use like anything else to make sure it's mixed properly but after a few sprays the triggers clogs up and then shoots out a mess of product.
Your bottle of product may have gotten frozen at some point. It makes the "solids" in the solution become clumpy in a way that they won't dissolve back into suspension. Many products with solids in solution behave like this. Can you take it back to point-of-purchase ? Many places like Canadian Tire and Walmart take things back without question, especially if the product is failing in some fashion. Also, it never hurts to fire off an e-mail to the manufacturer. Sometimes they will comp you a replacement, and possibly a few goodies as well.
Looks like test is over with. Hybrid solutions still hanging in there but starting to fail a little. It's been great test of durability for all three. Haven't had a chance to use flex wax but have used both seal and shine and Hybrid solutions
I think SNS and Graphene will stay on the surface for a bit longer. The Hybrid Ceramic is still going strong. The rest of the car has one coat of Graphene Flex and it’s now starting to fail in several spots.
I started with the ice spray, then seal and shine. Loved the seal and shine. This is after playing with many sealants and carnuba combos. Over 3 months ago I did truck in the hybrid solutions and it's never been so glossy. I've driven to Wyoming in the snow and to Colorado in the 100 degree heat and it still looks glossy. Typically I'll pressure wash it for a quickie as I do alot of dirt roads and then use the ceramic soap and its amazing. I was just thinking of trying the graphene but this video makes me happy with the hybrid ceramic. Only down side is I love detains my rigs and once this is applied its a basic wash and your done lol
I put the Hybrid solutions on my wifes car 4 weeks ago and it's been great! I actually let it cure 12 hours in the garage, then applied a second coat, and let that cure for 24.
@@TheCarDetailingChannel Very easy! I had a little streaking but that was user error lol. I applied too much on the hood so it streaked, but easy to correct.
The flex wax has been holding up great on my work van that gets driven on the east coast . I drive to NYC once a week so it passes the road grime test. All three of these are great but the flex is my favorite for chemical protection.
I get that the driver's side has the hydrophobic properties. But which ombe has the better over all slickness at this point? I want to know which one is the most slippery at this point. Thanks
Be honestly, this kind of test wasn't really give a ture idea about whether it can last that as described or not. As mentioned it's a daily car and when your engine bay get hot and those three sections were getting heated in different temperatures, and this cuz the acceleration of those products getting wipe off not evenly. So, I assume that the test results can't be really fair enough.
This .....this was the test I was looking for for AGES. Pantheorganizer, apex and others, none did this 3 way test and others don't do the 2 coats of the ceramic and the curing period. Definitely do the chemical torture test!!!! It will be the governing factor for me to go from the hybrid cermaric go the graphene if the test shows a huge difference.
i guess Pantheorganizer mostly do the sponsored videos. And mostly he applies things on absolutely brand new cars which already has lot of shine. But this video seems so real. I really mean so real & great. I am going to buy Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions as it definitely has strong characteristics as tested in this video.
