I like the layout with vertical boxes and a timeline. I use a similar layout every week. But I put the title and tasks and tracker at the top, and I always straddle Thursday across the middle of the book so I have the same size box for every day. When I don’t have much going on I can even make the boxes taller and fit two weeks into one. The room across the top of the spread allows space for notes and next week too if I keep the title small. I love that my layout stays consistent every week so don’t get lost looking for my info. Thanks for sharing these practical layouts!
I have watched this multiple times! I am making a journal for my cousin. Trying to get what I want to do that will work for her weekly spreads. Love this
Thank you so much for this video. It is exactly what I needed to find today. I've gotten into a rut with my weekly spreads, and of all the videos I've gone through, you give the best explanation and rationale for each. I really like the single-page weekly spread paired with just rolling daily spreads as you finished up with. That's how I started back in 2017, but I've gotten into rigid layouts that just haven't been working. I really look forward to trying these out.
You must be so excited for the birth of your baby. Best wishes to you and your husband. Your baby will surely be creative. I bet you’ll have lots of fun together!
Your lettering skills still amaze me! I always come back for inspiration when my needs change. I'm trying weekly instead of daily boxes so I'm thinking some horizontal boxes will work since my writing is kind of large. So glad this popped up on my home feed ❤
Well done! I don't usually use weekly spreads now that I've retired, but I will use some of your ideas for my "overbooked" weeks. Thank you for keeping it simple and easy to replicate. Again - very well done! 10 out of 10!
My eyes go wide at the first one! It really looks so good and just like you said, uses the space really effectively. Thank you for sharing it and creating this video 🙏
I'm trying the timeline spread for this week (13:30) :) Looking forward to seeing how I like it! I added tracker boxes in each day for weather and emotions on top of my daily tasks.
Oooh I love the last 2. I've been considering just writing out the days as I go along, like you've been doing. I love how you have the big chunks of the day set up also!
Hi Rylee, I will definitely put your video in my favorite ones, as it is SO useful. I think I will use the first weekly theme you presented as it seems easy for my own purposes, but I will try the other ones too! Thank you very much.
Ok have not watched the video yet but... WE ARE SOOOOO CLOSE TO 40K!!!!!🥳🥳 Edit: Just watched the video, gotta say the first spread was soooo cool and i will definitely be using it this month. Loved the road trip theme, might use it for the next month... Hope you're doing well!
@@irisnaomi3 Oh definitely!!! No question in that!!! I would share her channel with everyone i know but unfortunately none of my friends or family are into bullet journalling... 😫
Hello Rylee! I love how you spell your name! That's I spell my daughter's middle name. I was wondering: how often to you do custom journal orders? I am interested in a custom journal for next year 2025. I love the different weekly set ups!
My weekly spreads typically don't have each day of the week. I focus on tasks for specific days and events, weekly tasks, and a habit tracker. I really liked the first spread, though!
First comment?!!! 😃😃😃 I love this channel btw - the designs seem actually achievable for people like me who are very novice at all this. Would LOVE to be able to write brush lettering like you do! Thank you so much for all the ideas 😁
I love your spreads and the calm demeanor in which you present them. I would love to have your talent. Can you tell me if there is a difference between the Crayola Supertips and the Crayola Supertips Pointes that you have? I’m not sure which to purchase. Thank you so much! All my good wishes to you and your little one.
I looked at your box on the screen as you held it up and you have the one that says “pointes” on it. It also has the red circle on the bottom instead of the blue. They are a little more expensive than the regular ones. I’d send a picture but don’t know how to do that:) They sell both on Amazon. I’ll probably get the more expensive ones since they’re the ones you have. I don’t know if they are really different, or if it’s just the packaging. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer. I really appreciate it. I hope you’re feeling well!
Hi Rylee:) I just found your video where I saw the Crayola super tips pointes that I mentioned. It was from September 15, 2020, and was about swatching your markers. At the end of the video you held up the box. I bet there’s no difference, but they do cost more. I love the way your journals look, so I want to buy the markers you have. I guess I think buying those will make my journals look as beautiful as yours do…ha ha, fat chance! Thanks again.
Oooooh I see! I’m from Canada, so all of our packaging has both English and French so the “pointes” is just French for “tips” 😊 I doubt there’s any difference, but I’ve never bought the non-French box so I’m really not sure
Thank you for so many ideas and tips! I journal in my daily spreads rather than tasks and appointments and I like to see my habit and health trends on a monthly chart so I can notice trends. Your doodles are lovely and make me think I might try something simple some time. I’ve been sticking to washi tape and stickers to jazz up my bujo. Congratulations on busting outta bed rest!!!
Thank you for all the great ideas! I think the last is my favorite. It simplifies things in my head so much. No need for all the extra calendars, future logs, etc. Simple is better for me, or I won't use it.
Dear Rylee! I like the second one but also the last one. Sometimes I use weekly spreads which need one page only, sometimes two. The reason is that sometimes there are more things to fill in than other days. But the real reason is that I also use my bujo as a kind of diary. So I also write my thoughts in it and leave space between the weekly spreads. I don‘t want to start an extra „ diary journal“( I have an extra reading journal and one for special events like concerts, special gatherings…) But thanks for your wonderful ideas how to organize weekly spreads!❤️👍
Again, LOVE! I love the travel theme in the custom journal! The colors are so great together! My favorite is the day boxes, I like them because there is plenty of room to write. I also like your favorite layout.
Hi Rylee ☺️ What a fantastic idea for a video and we even got 10 ideas, that's heaps of inspiration for just one video! I am actually using the 7th weekly (second one pager) you showed us. Lately I've been enjoying the more artistic side of bullet journalling and just keeping track of events, appointments and memories. Most of my to do's are on my work laptop anyway... Maybe I'll try the first one pager too, just to change things up a bit. Keep up the great work and good luck with the little one soon! 👶🏻 Sending love from the Netherlands
thank you for all the different ideas! just a little tip (no hate at all), try to take more breathing breaks, as it sounds like you're out of breath sometimes
Thank you so much for making this video! I've been wanting to try this for a long time, but I've been using a simple spread for each month that has worked for me. Now that I'm getting more events each week, I'm needing to add weekly spreads so I don't forget any appointments or clients. My weekends actually get really busy, so I like the last 2 spreads you did. I think I'll start with the folding page one so I can have a whole week done at once, then I might transition to writing out only a few days at a time.
Hi Rylee, love the spreads, so many ideas and beautifully presented. I flipped at the fold over, that’s just awesome. I’m going to have to try that one. The one that would suit me the most would be number 10, I like that you can set up as much or as little in your dailies, and still have the over view. Love the billboards, and the beautiful lettering xx
Rylee! I hope you will take it easy! we can hear you laboring your breath so I hope everything will be ok! Thank you for such a great video, I was looking for a new weekly spread so this came really handy
The first layout works more for me the two way page long column with space for notes or tasks. Love the creativity and versatility you create and how there’s something for everyone.
