The items difference on SR and Arena mode just show us that riot import the items directly in the mode, not from a "items database". It's truly 200+ years of development in such a small and indie company.
@arobaz808 i think they just dont care about arena even tho everyone else loves it. The cameo title cars come back up and stays on screen whole round if u get revived in a cameo round. And ww passive just does not work at all, 0 healing from it. These are just 2 of the many bugs they coulda fixed but didnt. Been in since first pbe patch for arena
@@arobaz808 they definetely don't have to do it that way. Reusing the same code for the active/passive components, importing the stats from the same set, it's all basic structuring of a program, and it's easy to override the values/code for each game mode. But it's very clear they just copy/pasted the code into arena, and now, for every change they make, they'll have to manually mirror it on the other mode as well. It screams amateurism. Edit: by amateurism, I don't mean the dev team is clueless. After 10 years working on tech companies, I know well enough that this situation is common, and it's always the higher ups telling us not to "waste time" on good, well thought code, because working on low-profile quality features doesn't line the company's pockets.
@@retanoab I think it's fundamentally flawed from the beginning (10 years ago), and now it's too big of a spaghetti that they just can't do the simple reusing, so the current team has to do a special if else every single time (like the case of Wukong) instead
5:12 with the jack of all trades thing, same goes for terminus but i guess that one makes sense because otherwise the item would give 6 different stats...
Jinx is very unfit for Yun tal sadly. Her AS is reduced by fishbone; The DoT dmg is the same, doesn't work with increased dmg from fishbone; And the splash dmg doesn't proc on-hit at all.
There is a bug in Arena currently with the augment Stackasaurus Rex, where Nasus benefits from enemy teams getting the augment and gets the extra stacks himself too.
the new crit item specifically says crit damage, and the bonus dealt, so yeah it counts on minions and monsters, which is why it reads so high because through the course of the game you hit things a lot.
I think there actually is a bug with legend haste, on Swain in particular for some reason. His E seems to benefit additionally from it for some reason, maybe it's due to something else, but I think it's most likely legend haste. I had a game where Swain literally had a 5 second cooldown on his E with one item, I counted.
Bel'veth doesn't execute minions with support item it brings them to 1hp. You have to deal killing blow for it to share gold not an execute. Should put that in a video (I've been playing belveth support recently and this has been annoying)
Ye pretty sure yun tal is also bugged on aram at least with Nilah. It said it did like 800 damage in 3-4 autos on one person when it said each proc only does like 100 damage so I think it was counting minion damaging.
Ornn items should be procedural instead of actual items that exist. Like, just have a bunch of primary stats like (health, mana, ad, ap, as, cdr, armor and mr) and have each item assigned as primarily being related to only one of those stats, and increase it by a flat amount when upgraded.
How does Riot still make their own tooltips without pulling the info off the code themselves? Its such a lazy, ineffective, and buggy method. I dont want to have to do in depth testing to find out that the tool tip is just a lie.
Yo, so this is an old one, still ongoing. Duskblade passive doesn't affect Yorick ghouls. This WAS a bug when it was on summoner's rift in that version, the first time around, and was fixed a couple patches in. When they brought it into Arena, they were still using the old code, I guess - and never updated it. His options for prismatics are pretty awful. That WOULD be the best one - if it actually functioned.
Wait, what do you mean not affect yorick's ghouls. Does that mean: - Ghouls don't trigger the passive so they would just deal normal dmg? - Ghouls ignore the fact that someone's ''untargetable'' due to Duskblade or something else?
Good video as always, though, I still get double runes in champions that have a lower player base, such as aphelios and corki, its been an every day thing to be honest, feels bad lol
@@dominik452221 Mana on manaless champions also gives a stack. I think the difference is that Pyke's health is converted, while the others are just not used.
My Yun Tal arrows said it dealt 10k damage in a game that I only deal like 40k damage to champions, really make me question whether this item is that strong or the stats it show are sus af lol
Sivir's W is special cased to not proc anything besides their damage and crit, and are the only AOE that isn't capable of making ability effects proc because she would be broken otherwise (Black cleaver abuse with lethality mostly). RN i think they only proc the Black cleaver and nothing else, as they deal physical damage. And Runaan's has to be special cased with the champion in order to have special effects, such as Ashe's passive, Aphelios' current gun passive (The only one that doesn't interact with runaan is the shuriken weapon), otherwise runaan will fire it's default bolts without any bonus effects.
Does Saundered Sky do crit every first attack vs. dummies? Cuz mine didn't crit like 75% of the time when I tested it. Also, any chance PTA isn't doing the bonus damage it's supposed to?
*Small indie company only cares about selling skins as usual...* Just like EVERY OTHER big business. Only caring about grand gestures but NEVER tiny, important details...
They should had tried to reinvest like a PBE II which will soon become League 2, instead of randomly investing in random games like that ziggs, nunu and sylas games. And the engine would either be Unity or UE or Godot. They're really good at 2 things, making skins and making stuff no one asked.
200 years and they still can't fix bugs found in pbe before they roll it out live. You know, the reason they introduced it in the first place completely ignored. They buffed champs that are in a terribly op place already as well. 200 years of incompetent programming experience.
Also yun tal wildarrows don't seam to work for skills that can crit. I test on samira and for some reason even though her Q and R can crit, the passive from the item never proc. Only on her auto attacks.
@@mercadoroberto1414 Yeah, I was really hoping it would work on magic crits like Karthus isolated Q. Or Kai'sa could build it with Shadowflame to apply burn on W. Sadly not.
Yun tal's tooltip is missing one key information: it's an on-hit effect. So it procs only on AAs or abilities that specifically can crit AND apply on-hits(which none of Samira's skills can do). For example, GP's Q can proc it normally. MF's Q can proc it on both targets if both hits crit. Pantheon's W can apply it 3 times if all hits crit. But Kayle's passive fire waves or Sivir's ricochets can't, since they might crit, but don't apply on-hit effects. And even so there are inconsistencies. Rengar's Q is a guaranteed crit, so it procs every time. But Shaco's Q + backstab is also a guaranteed crit (a mini-crit, but tooltip specifically says "critically strike"), but it doesn't proc.
@@mechanicalsnail4703 that's more of an interface error from riot's part. Those are "cosmetical critical hits", only using the crit icon to symbolize an amplified damage that's specific to each ability and triggered on specific conditions. "Real" crits are triggered at random, being affected by crit chance and crit damage. I believe they should have distinct icons not to confuse people with their distinct meanings.
Yes but is that the intended behavior? And is that the best choice ? I think most of the player base is way more interested in the damages dealt to players
But all the other items with the same tooltip (eg. BOTRK) only show damage dealt to enemy champions... Plus, it's showing the pre-mitigation value, which is useless in itself, and I guess not the intended feature
It’s actually kinda sad isn’t it I’ve felt like this game went on life support in S10, after the 10th anniversary announcement And it kinda shows no? Every year after the game got progressively more and more broken S12-13 had the MOST game breaking bugs go to live. The most pauses and chronobreaks in pro It’s insane how this game has gotten bigger and bigger but gets worse with each patch
I have to test but I am pretty sure Ashe's passive is bugged, the amplified damage seems to be right on the first auto after the slow is applied, but it diminishes every auto after that till certain point
at 5:23 that becus bruteliser for some reson still givcs the lithality u have 4 stacks and loses one when combining it aka loses as the reson u state in vid so it logical
