No matter how the second half of this Mania goes I'll bet you that it can't be nearly as bad as WrestleMania 32! The blight on wrestling that hit Dallas in 2016!
Honestly feel mania 31 is worse and the cashin at the end does not save how dogshit the build to that show was and how little fucks I had to give and nothing on that show could knock me out that mindset.
It's nice watching this list knowing how good night one was, right? I needn't be so apprehensive that this year's mania might be a contender for this list, because night one at least was absolutely great
The only match that was bad was Pat vs Miz. Theory vs Cena was at least alright despite John giving the finish away right before the five knuckle shuffle
Accurate. And Cena vs Theory was as good as it was always gonna be. Cena is currently filming a big movie. He was never gonna do anything crazy in that match. Can't risk injury.
Adam could not have been more wrong with his prediction. Night one was actually really good with a majority of matches ending in very satisfying ways having the proper people go over.
Night 2 was also really good, including most of the main event (until the interference finish). Overall I would say 39 was one of the best Manias ever.
As someone who not only went to WrestleMania 27, but lives in Atlanta, I want them to give us another shot... We have a nice new stadium to put it in too
Only match I could see being a little eh is the women’s tag showcase match. Brock vs Omos should be stupid sports entertainment fun especially if Hurt Business gets involved
I'm biased because it's my first WrestleMania, but i'd have to agree just from people discussing other WMs, however that's if night 2 lives up to night 1 despite Pat McAfee's best efforts to ruin the show
WWE’s had a serious hot streak of PPVs since the disaster of the 2022 Rumble. Night 1 continued it. Night 2 feels set to take take the crown. Can’t wait for tonight.
WM4 holds a special place for me personally. It was the first Mania I got to watch live. Not all cable companies carried the PPVs and ours didn’t for a long period. The first 3 we had to wait for highlights shown on Superstars, All American Wrestling, and Prime Time. Local cable still wasn’t offering WM4 but there was a closed circuit live screening of it at the Louisville Gardens and we watched it there. For that reason alone, I can never call that Mania bad.
I was blessed to attend 10x btwn 2004-2016 and admittedly some were stinkers... 29 was so predictable, 25 is somehow forgetful except for one match, and 32 had few full time stars due to injury; was definitely missing something. My personal favs during this time are definitely 23, 26, & 20.
39 Night 1 had a slow start but got better and better as it went on, if Night 2 can build and improve on that it could well be a top 10 Wrestlemania. Edit: Clearly I need to clarify; I literally meant the opening match was slow and lackluster (hence 'slow start'), the next match was good and things kept getting better from there.
I wouldn't call it too slow of a start, just Cena vs. Theory, really. Besides that, every other match on the card either was really good or served its purpose well (Miz vs. McAffee).
Well guys you what time it is time for Adam suffering through the worst Wrestlemanias for our enjoyment cheers everyone for a great Wrestlemania tonight 💙
Honestly, we all know that 36 is gonna be on here just because it's had a grand total of 0 people in the audience. Edit: I need to stop predicting entries in lists.
Adam. You have convinced me to try and watch Wrestlemania 4 in 1 sitting. I'll let you know how far in I get before I need to stop/ start looking at my phone in sheer boredom.
11 will always be the worst for me. It doesn’t even look or feel like a Wrestlemania; it feels like a bad house show with technical difficulties all around
What Vince did to Bart Gunn is so terrible just cause Dr Death didn't win the God Awful Brawl For All they set him up to get killed by Butterbean. On the plus side seeing JBL get knocked out by a jobber(Gunn) was hillourius
Worst, Gunn told them he had no problem jobbing to a way past his prime Steve Williams and they still thought he was in his 20’s and would Take care of Gunn and boy did Williams get exposed as being washed up… the Attitde Era had a lot of crap that we tend to forget about due to Austin and the Rock shining, but the brawl for all is just another reason Vince Russo sucks
Aside from the disappointing opener and the fairly naff women’s tag match, night 1 of Mania 39 has been possibly their best night 1 since they started doing 2 night WrestleManias. If night 2 can deliver (which I’m somewhat sceptical about), then we could be looking at a potential top 3 Mania
Guesses before watching the video: 1. Wrestlemania 9 2. Wrestlemania 2 3. Wrestlemania 27 4. Wrestlemania 32 5. Wrestlemania 7 6. Wrestlemania 2000 7. Wrestlemania 11 8. Wrestlemania 12 9. Wrestlemania 29 10. Wrestlemania 34 Honourable mention for Mania 36, which was good but during COVID and with no fans. Edit: Having watched the video, I did quite well. I got 7/10 from my predictions on the list, having missed Manias 34, 12 and 7 for 13, 15 and 4. Should’ve realised Adam would hate Mania 4. It’s basically the anti-Deadly Games, and given Adam’s love for tournaments, and especially of Deadly Games, he obviously would hate poorly booked ones (like Mania 4’s nightlong tournament.)
12 was decent 1.The Iron Man Match-I loved it but for others it was a Mixed bag 2.The Hollywood Backlot Brawl-Ridiculous,Weird yet Good 3.Diesel vs Taker-Good 4.Savio vs Austin-Decent Minus Austin vs Hart WM 13 was bad
Adam has mentioned that he thinks WWE should hold off until Summerslam in his How WWE should dethrone Roman Reigns video, and I agree, despite being dissapointed initially, I can get behind 'the climb back to the top'. Heros rise and fall, that's what makes them likable, that's what made his father likable, so if Cody is getting built up, I can get behind it. A fans love for someone is 9 times out of 10 at its strongest before they have reached the top, Daniel Bryan say hi. Kofi Kingston say hi. Becky lynch say hi. Just wanted to get my feelings towards it out there. Definitely not enough for WrestleMania to be bad, it was solid. Not liking it because of one result is fair but kind of petty. I mean I wanted Finn to beat Edge but I get why he didn't and it was still a good match.
Ngl I truely thought Wrestlemania 36 was gonna be there. I know the Cinematic matches delivered and they really were screwed because of the pandemic but I really cant watch any normal match, how good they are, because of the extremely akward silence.
It's funny, I was expecting 32 to top the list, but it only made #5 (thanks to modern workrate standards). I rarely hear people mention 4, but I guess that's because nobody remembers it (or has purged it from their memories with cheap booze and bleach). But just remember, whenever people complain about AEW cards having too many matches- _16 matches_ on the card of WrestleMania IV! And at least most of the matches on an AEW card are going to be very good to excellent, not pointless, meaningless, throwaway crap!
'Adam, I am an emotionally well adjusted person. You can tell by the fact that I'm leaving a RU-vid comment.' Never have I felt so specifically attacked and never have I laughed so hard because of it.
Disclaimer: Pokemon 2000 and Fantasia 2000 are actually pretty good. Also, if you ask any wrestler that knew Yokozuna, they'd say he was a great worker and even better person
@@rosemarygonzalez6010 LOL Cody since his return has faced Seth, Miz, Solo and Roman. There is an entire roster he could be defending the title against!
makes you appreciate the good ones that much more. Night one of 39 was fantastic and I cannot wait for night 2 tonight. The triple threat IC title match is gonna be a BANGER. The raw women's championship match should be great (hopefully Asuka wins), and of course the main event. Shaping up to be an all time show
Okay I hit 4:10 and I gotta say, as a avid Pokémon fan, ironic coming from the guy who runs a board game channel, love you Adam x EDIT: just hit 5:08 and I accept you apology too x
Looks Like Adam has another one to add after tonight main event "comedy" result. If not, then insert Pete reaction as one of the main reason why it should in the list
@@MrSjc1220 29 and 13 were here, so I think it deserves a honorable mention. Brock vs Omos was usual Brock boringness, Balor vs Edge was disappointing because of Balor getting his head cut open, Cody vs Roman had a great match but a horrible ending (you mean to tell me a Helluva Kick, Stunner, Bionic Elbow, and a Cross Rhodes doesn't kill Roman, but a Samoan Drop and Spear does????)
I resent calling Fantasia 2000 bad. It's got Rhapsody in Blue, Carnival of the Animals, and Firebird. The original may be better in some ways, especially because of Night on Bald Mountain being amazing, but it doesn't deserve to be in that list of bad things with 2000 in it.
