Although you did not mention Chris Benoit (for reasons that need not be explained), that means that all four members of The Radicalz won gold over all three promotions.
The Radicalz were at one time believed to be the complete future of the business, but Malenko retired. Saturn had a drug issue. Eddie had a drug issue and passed away. Then there’s one of my childhood heroes, Chris Benoit who suffered brain damage from taking some nasty chair shots and bumps throughout his 22 year career.
@@venomizedcarnage6532 its a shame. Malenko still had a lot to give, saturn was a solid hand for any company and then eddie/chris were both taken from us too soon. Eddie was in his prime and chris was just seriously fucked up after eddie died and his in ring style/drug and alcohol problems caught up with him.

There are 11 wrestlers to do this 1.Shane Douglas 2.Chris Jericho 3.Chris Benoit 4.Chris Candido 5.Eddie Guerrero 6.Dean malenko 7.Perry Saturn 8.Raven 9.Lance Storm 10.Terry Funk 11.Mick Foley
I got a question. Since we mentioned Eddie Guerrero's Championship success. I wonder if we could have a convo on who was World and/Or Secondary Specialists. A couple of names that come to mind. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine,Ric Flair, Lex Luger,Sting,Eddie Guerrero,Y2J and more recently Shinsuke Nakamura
Chris candido was was one of the nicest guys I have ever met in the wrestling business when I met him at SummerSlam 95 event thank you for making this video I needed something to enjoy today
Counting title reigns in WWE, this list is surprisingly longer: Big Show Bubba Ray Dudley D-Von Dudley Kane Matt Hardy Chavo Guerrero (Jr.) Rhyno Tajiri
I saw the title and quickly made a list with Big Show, Dudleyz and Rhino on it with asterisk next to them because of their WWE taint haha. Cant believe I didn’t get Candido! I was so annoyed at myself!
I would love to see a vid of which wrestler has won the most belts, not just world championships. But only titles in NWA, WWF/E, WCW, ECW, Impact and AEW. This might be a tough one to get right but I'd be glad to do the research for this, with a small fee of course.
Strange to think that had Steve Austin could’ve been on here because Paul Heyman wanted to put the ECW world title on him but Austin wanted to be the hunter and not the hunted
Chris Jericho is also the only one of two men to hold every title for the old grand slam criteria as well as the new version. The other man is Jeff Hardy who has also held every title he's been eligible in for, sans the WWECW championship and the 24/7 title. He did hold the light heavyweight title but never the cruiser weight which i guess he was too heavy for by the time it came about?
Slightly off topic, but I miss the days when the midcard belts were the showcase for the workhorses and the CW/LHW belt typically had the most exciting match of the night. It can be argued that that still holds today, but only somewhat. Midcard belts are treated like a joke and when was the last time we even saw anything happen with the CW belt? I genuinely wish someone would bring in a television belt and have it defended on television EVERY WEEK. No more "promo, contract signing, or brawl in the main event spot" crap. If the world, #2, or tag belts aren't up that week, the TV title should be the main event. Period. And even if its not the main, it should be defended on the show every time it airs. Thats my take.
What about Chris Benoit? ECW: 1x ECW Tag Team Champion WCW: 1x WCW World Heavyweight Champion 2x WCW United States Champion 3x WCW World Television Champion 2x WCW Tag Team Champion WWE: 1x World Heavyweight Champion 3x WWE US Champion 4x WWE Intercontinental Champion 3x World Tag Team Champion 1x WWE Tag Team Champion
I am just a little upset that our internet/90s age allows us to forget that AWA was more of a player in the grand scheme of things than ECW was. Longer history and showcased bigger money drawing, and making, stars. And as an 80s baby who is native of a southern state and who did not have ESPN in when AWA was at the Showboat, I did not get a chance to watch AWA. However, I did read about it in PWI and other magazines and knew of its legacy at a young age.
Is it even possible anyone other than Jericho could hold golf from all those promotions? You'd need a title holder from ECW and WCW who's still an active wrestler just for a start. How many of those even are there? (Terry, please sit down.)
@@shine11223 It was good but he wasn't a big star yet. Remember Austin came into WWF as The Ringmaster... it wasn't until 1997 when Stone Cold became a huge star.
@@rickytpb2164 yes but ECW proved to be his breaking ground for his anti establishment gimmick. He mocked wrestlers like hulk Hogan etc in ECW, even Paul Heyman wanted to crown him as ECW champion 🏆
I know that Chris Benoit is a sensitive subject, no doubt. However, since these lists are supposed to be objective, you should've have included Benoit in this list, likely even in the top spot. All because he did something that none of this list's entries did. Winning a world title in two of those companies.
Had he shown up to the ppv he would've won the ECW world title making him one of the only wrestlers to have won the world title in wcw, wwe, and ecw/wwecw solidifying him as one of the all time greats if he wasn't already at that time.
well done love the video, great to recognise Eddie as a great champ. I even got 3 videos my channel as a new tribute to Eddie you should check it it out. lets keep his legacy alive and well! :)
Not including Benoit on this list is a damn shame, as he was the ONLY man that could have been on this list to have won world titles in 2 of the promotions on the list...
I've heard rumors of this Crispen Wah guy that won titles in all three orgs back then. Including major titles in WCW and WWF/E. But he doesn't seem to exist in the history books...
So Eddie got fired for a DUI, but the Usos had tons and get belts non stop damn now days you can do anything and WWE won't fire you..... Unless for a dumb reason
I enjoy GOOD WRESTLING...WWE has given me very little in the past several years...I can count the good matches under WWE's banner on one hand from 2020. Roman vs. Jay Uso at HIAC War Games, and ...uh, yeah WWE has been AWFUL for a while. I can watch Impact, and enjoy the show, NWA is great as well, ROH could be great but it is hared to catch, NJPW always knocks it out of the park, and AEW seldom disapoint...WWE has just been AWFUL for so long, I do not see them digging out anytime soon...Especially when you think about the QUALITY of their numerous competitors. This is shameful when you consider this is the most talented, and star packed roster they have ever had outside of the Invasion era.
