The world of pro-wrestling is very much a family affair. There are many generational Superstars like Randy Orton and The Rock that got their start because of relatives in the business. The idea of family resonates so strongly with viewers that many of these storylines have been crafted around all types of family drama. What the wrestling universe doesn’t realize is that a lot of the families presented on WWE programming and beyond is actually fabricated. Fake family members are introduced as a part of a storyline and people quickly assume that it is real.
Take a stroll back in time to witness some of the fictional wrestling families that have fooled WWE fans for many years. Well the difference between the wyatts and the brothers of destruction is that if you actually watch raw somewhat you would know that the wyatt in kayfabe are like the manson cult and the "Family" part of it is metaphorical while in kayfabe Kane and Undertaker are brothers.

The Dudley Family...Well, in our time it isn't completely unheard of for some families to be based on a married couple adopting a lot of orphaned children, giving them a new home, a family and a new chance at a good life. In the case of the WWE Dudleys most fans weren't fooled, had they really been relatives they'd all have been introduced much earlier, maybe not as wrestlers, but definitely as family members and potential future wrestlers seeings as they all just happened to have the physique, training, skills and talents that are such an intricate necessity for any wrestler in order to make it in the industry. But of course, there are also people who believe the fights are completely real through and through, from start to finish and with no attempts to limit the damage that the participating wrestlers give and take during the fights.

Jimmy Hart.... then manager of the Hart Foundation, was initially introduced as a cousin to the Hart family. Though he is not related in any way to the Hart's. People found this out quickly.
