I guess Jinda Mahal is the only person on this list who never recovered from the horrible booking of his reign as WWE Champion😔

From 2009 to 2014, John Cena was constantly booked as "overcoming the odds." The ironic thing was, Cena *was* the odds.

I was not happy with Goldberg taking the universal title off of The Fiend. They should have had The Fiend hold onto the belt until at WrestleMania and have him lose it to a full time active wrestler.

The fact that Mahal had a longer run than ANY of EDGE's runs, is just purely INSULTING to the WWE fanbase

Big show is a guaranteed legend but they don’t treat him like one

OMG, I still remember wrestle mania three. That was the Night Andre The Giant was slammed by the Yokozuna in the Hell in a Cell match. It was so awesome to see that slam when they were at the top of the cell. Then, when they put aside their difference and did Swanton Bombs in tandem off the cell landing on The British Bulldogs.

How the heck is Charlotte not on this list? It sucks because she is incredibly talented, yet has been shoved down our throats so much that EVERYONE, including myself, is sick of her.

Big Show's heel run from 2014-2015 was piss-poor and utterly forgettable.

Bro Corbin really doesn't deserve the hate. When I watched WWE for the first time in years, I saw Happy Corbin and fell in love with how he carried himself and how clean his in ring work was.

Ronda Rousey is so boring she makes Lance Storm look good by comparison and Goldberg winning the universal title in 2017 absolutely sucked but that Reign gave us Brock Lesnar Vs Goldberg @ Wrestlemania 33 which was a lot better than their Match @ Wrestlemania 20 and John Cena Burying the Nexus in 2010 sucked and John Cena's US title Reign in 2015 was great.

I honestly wish we had gotten a heel turn from John Cena at some point. We got that on at least one occasion in the games, and I remember it was pretty good. He also kinda slid into a heel role during his match at the ECW One Night Stand Pay-per-view, and managed to sell it really well, so the fact that an aggressively ruthless John Cena never really became a thing feels like a real missed opportunity.

Call me crazy but Ronda isn’t hated because she had bad booking…. She’s hated because her name value has worn off and it’s incredibly obvious she hasn’t put any effort into becoming a credible wrestler. Is she booked bad? Kinda she should never have been resigned in the first place.

Yes Roman was presented poorly as a baby face but nothing about how he was booked is in any way bad. Also his Mania matches against Lesnar at WM31 and 34 and against HHH weren’t bad matches the crowd just mad it seem worse than it was

To be honest, Cena should have been 6th, Goldberg to stay where he was and maybe even stick Shawn Michaels in here somewhere. Oh and CM Punk.

I don't think it was the booking that made people hate Ronda, it's that she's one of the most genuinely unlikable people on the roster. Plus it's always felt like she's gotten preferential treatment because of her name status, rather than because of her having earned it.

The only one on this list that I like is Corbin. Other than his character that was a sad sack after losing his money, his characters have allowed him to play very creative angles.

Strongly disagree on Ronda, no amount of good booking is going to make her appear more interested in being there. Ronda fell victim to her own hype with the fans and she's not liked nor do ppl enjoy disliking her like Dom & Rhea 🤣 for example. Like just a week ago I was at the icons of wrestling ECW reunion in Philly convention I spoke to Heath Slater and I even said to him that Cena absolutely no right to actually bury & change the finish Nexus they should’ve went over at summer slam and even though Jericho and edge I called him out for it at least Cena acknowledge that he was wrong he didn’t see it that way.

Well, it wasn't just terrible booking with Roman. Dude is just awful. The only thing that's making him good now is the fact he has Paul Heyman as his mouthpiece and writing his promos. Dude is just basically this generation's Goldberg. Not talented but his gimmick is what's popular.

Think apart of the character development problems are mainly because some athletes are over played with little or no change take reigns for instance he would be liked even as a heel if they changed his move set as you can literally see or call what he’s going to do before he does it which pretty much squashes the believability of the finished product it’s the same for a lot of athletes and believe if they are going from heel to baby face or vice versa they should change everything about their character such a attitude, entrance, music and moves list and even their mannerisms to truly sell the change

I'll say some of these I'm glad worked out. Kane for me is a staple in the WWE you can't just remove him. The corporate crap didn't work and he went back to the big red machine we love. Baron Corbin I could never really get behind but he is a very safe and competent wrestler. For me John Cena still has awesome chemistry and engages the audience along with being very safe. He puts in the work and gives it his all. However both himself and triple H put down other talent and that I am never okay with. Same with hulk hogan. Mostly for me the big show, I loved watching him perform. He was awesome and getting to meet him he's a big teddy bear. Then watching his emotion through the years crying for Eddie Guerrero you can't buy that. The WWE did him wrong, I wish he had a better time and he's a great part of history

Cena just can't wrestle and nothing has changed with that, just that as usual the best wrestlers had to job for him and let him look credible. Whoever "lost" to him has my greatest respekt. This terrible gimmick alone made me stop watching wrestling. Take a huge guy and put him into trunks five numbers too big isn't that simple. It yells if you like this you are either way younger than ten ot suffer from grave dementia, which is no wonder with McMahon in charge. It is even possible to pinpoint when McMahon went insane. It is been quite a while, after whinning the war against the WCW, he first did absolutely everything to ruin almost everything connected to this promotion. After completely erradicating the WCW, it seemed to me he loved the role as the destroyer of wrestling and tried real hard to chase away every real wrestling fan. Just take AEW, in general its nothing, but trying to to do everything not Vince style, including most of the roster being victims of the grandmasters insanity. So McMahons greatest achievement is inventing AEW.
