The one that I thought was the prettiest has already sold! Other than that, I agree with you about the K1 Select -- why pay extra, that's gorgeous! However, if I were in the market, I'd go for the soprano.
Such a treat ❤️ The K1 Tenor with - the striking Sapwood , and - the sturdier headstock angle/construction is wonderful and there's no perceptible difference in tone quality from the ones with tighter grain . The headstock is "stronger" too !
While all awesome, that soprano is especially booming! And the Manu Hū Baritone made me have a physical reaction to the first tones that jumped out at me. I was all like 😮😮

Ever since when did the company change to wooden pins? My K1 came w\ plastic ones. I changed 'em albeit there is this theory that wooden pins might shrink or deform ever so slightly over time or under certain circumstances …
