I definitely want to see Rouge to be more accurate in the MCU like she is in the comics, like her southern accent, and her romantic relationship with a Gambit.

I would love to see Rogue. We already have Carol Danvers so she could be introduced by taking her powers and being the overpowered version she is supposed to be. Iceman would be great too because of his adaptive powers.

Nightcrawler is my all time favorite xmen character and would love to see him in the mcu

A villains list would be great. I'm actually interested more in the villains the MCU could introduce. But as far as the 10 X-Men I would like to see...Wolverine, Jean Grey, Gambit, Cyclops, Iceman, Cable, Storm, Colossus, Emma Frost, Forge. The X-Men mythos needs fresh blood while introducing it's past as a foundation to build from moving forward.

My top is Storm. I just want to see her in the MCU and hopefully done correctly

I honestly think X-Men would work better as a live action show than a movie because there are so many great characters and story arcs that movies alone cant do justice. A show and movies would be best. I wanna see Psylocke, Gambit, nightcrawler, bishop, etc.

I really hope the MCU shows us why Cyclops is the leader of the X-men and not just there/overlooked like Fox did

I think Rogue, Storm and Jean Grey is a must for the team. Cyclops, Wolverine and Gambit is also a must as well. We build from that with Colossus, Beast & Nightcrawler. Bishop can come later.

This is secretly a “Top Ten X-Men That Fox Did Dirty” list. Some of them on this list were done well but most weren’t.

I think when we first see gambit he should be wearing a brown bomber jacket, once him and Rogue begin their relationship she should steal his bomber( because what healthy relationship doesn’t involve your girlfriend stealing your bomber) than Gambit goes to his Jim Lee coat

Just in terms of on screen presence and the way they command the screen with calm and collected demeanor, there are few actors out there who have the same Professor X potential as Giancarlo Esposito. It'd also be nice to see him play a protagonist for once

I personally want Toad in the MCU because I'm a huge Toad fan and he doesn't get enough love in the comics. It's kinda like the writers agreed that he's not allowed to be happy.

MY LIST: In addition to some surprises I also considered what the special effects would look like based on the character's powers. I'll do 15 characters because having too many X MEN on screen isn't a thing... Forge Shadowcat (AND Lockheed) Havoc Warlock (HIS powers would potentially be some of the BEST special effects ever conceived as far as X MEN are concerned, I think) Cypher Krakoa Darwin Thunderbird Dazzler (because she was totally created by Marvel and the now defunct yet legendary disco-laden Casablanca Records label, and it'd be cool to see what Disney can do with this character based on this historical tid-bit alone) Xorn Magma Psylock (in relation to the next character I bring up) Phantomex (AND E.V.A.) Northstar and Aurora (they count as one because they're twins, and are a link to X MEN via Wolverine, potentially introducing Alpa Flight and maybe a set-up for another Wolverine-type solo movie) and... Laura/X-23

This may be a hot take but… I never really did like the love triangle between Jean, Scott, and Logan🤷🏻‍♂️ I always thought the whole thing was unnecessary(yes I know there’s a bunch of storylines that involve the love triangle), but like I don’t like the idea of it. Plus I always felt that Jean and Logan just don’t like good together😅

Warpath, X-23, Archangel, Psylocke, Elizabeth Braddock, Forge, CGI Beast and Havok are essentials!!!

I really appreciate that nightcrawler was your number one. He never gets enough love, he's an amazing character with great history to use in stand alone movies or as a team up movie

Wolverine Deadpool Gambit Magneto Nightcrawler and Beast are the X-Men I want to see in the MCU

In all honesty, I feel that for the MCU X-Men, they should introduce the original 5 X-Men FIRST, -Cyclops -Beast -Jean Grey -Angel -Iceman. This should happen in my opinion because, it’ll give them a chance to build a foundation within the team, just like how they had only 6 avengers on the team in the beginning, but added more heroes over time. Having a 10+ member X-men team in the beginning will feel cluttered. And some members might not get enough screen time. Also, the original 5 members should all be a little bit older than the mutants that joined the team later on, because they should be like seasoned veterans, not too old, but “well established.” On top of that, this is a good opportunity to showcase Cyclops the right way, as him being the leader/commander/general of the team, and having the respect of everybody around him, because cyclops has had the worst treatment from FOX. The sequels can introduce the new recuits -Storm -Wolverine -Colossus -Nightcrawler -Rouge -Gambit -Warpath -Bishop -Thunderbird -Forge -Morph -Banshee -Sunfire -Kitty -Jubilee -Pixie -Havok and so on and so fourth.

My pitch for an X-Men MCU franchise. Film 1: X-Men Mutants numbers are growing from hundreds to thousands after the blip activated the dormant X gene in many. A psycho named Arcade has captured 30 random mutants (a collection of cameos and future team members) and forced them to fight to the death in his own special death game. The world leaders are not sure what to do, as there is controversy over whether mutants are human or not, a growing movement led by William Stryker (who might have something to do with this). The X-Men (Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel, Beast and Iceman) are trying to convince the world mutants deserve to be saved, with the Brotherhood, (Magneto, Avalanche, Mystique, Sabretooth, Toad, Blob) attempt to stop Arcade themselves by any means necessary, including killing several humans. The X-Men need to find the mutants quickly, and to stop the Brotherhood from spreading fear. Film 2: X-Men: second generation The first team has been lured into a trap by a mysterious scientist called Nathaniel Essex, who is experimenting on them, planning a clone army for world takeover (partially succeeds, creating Madeline Pryor). Professor X brings together a new team (Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird, Colossus, Sunfire). They are sent to save the team, as Sinister things happen. At the same time, the Brotherhood discover Stryker has big plans for a sentinel program, and is being manipulated by the Hellfire Club, with the aim of convincing mutants to side with them and allowing the Club to reign supreme, forcing the Brotherhood to fight back. Not every member of any team will make it out alive or uninjured (Thunderbird dies, Angel loses his wings, some Brotherhood are axed). Film 3: X-Men: Age of Apocalypse Essex was a herald for a bigger plan. Apocalypse has risen and, with his new Horsemen (Angel, Madeline Pryor, Wolverine, Psylocke), plans the destruction of our world. All this has taken a toll on the X-Men, and the Brotherhood, and the Hellfire Club, who must team up to stop him. Jean takes this the worst, leaving halfway through the film. Many die as Apocalypse rages throughout mutant kind. Film 4: X-Men: Phoenix Jean has returned, under the control of Ex-Hellfire Mastermind, and possessed by a mysterious creature. Jean, now calling herself Phoenix, attacks all those who wronged her, and eventually, even her friends. Now, all mutants aren't safe, as everyones bad decisions are coming back to haunt them. Finally, the mutants use Krakoa to create a mutant only society, separate from anyone else, to be used only for crossovers.

Thank you for including Nightcrawler -and if they do, don't do something stupid like the scars thing, or say he's covered in fur like X-Men Evolution. Movies always like to do things their own way if only a little (hah), Nightcrawler with sword vs Wolverine with claws would be an awesome, tropey, introduction fight, and then everybody becomes friends after.

Giancarlo esposito would easily dominate the role for professor x.

While some of these are great and I would love to see them. I also want some of the members we have never seen before like Gambit or other members who were not fully fleshed out like Iceman or Nightcrawler. Other ones I would like to see are Colossus, Darwin, Magik. I would also love to see a villans version of this.

Top 10 should try to merge the first two teams, Professor X, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, Angel, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler and Storm. Havok, Polaris, Banshee, Sunfire and Thunderbird from the original and Uncanny teams, Kate Pryde, Dazzler, Gambit, Rogue and Bishop should be the next 10.

Honestly, I can't bring myself to watch any MCU product, but let's say they manage to come up with a great show (which they won't). I agree that Professor X needs to be there, but I don't consider him a member of the X-Man team, but rather their manager. So, here's my top 10: 01. Cyclops 02. Marvel Girl 03. Beast 04. Ice Man 05. Angel 06. Wolverine 07. Gambit 08. Storm 09. Nightcrawler 10. Cable Making this a top 20, which I think this should be: 11. Havok 12. Shadowcat 13. Polaris 14. Mirage 15. Prestige 16. Colossus 17. Rogue 18. Jubilee 19. Vulcan 20. X-Man Also, it would be even better to have other teams properly portrayed as well. Mainly, I'm thinking about X-Force, Excalibur and X-Factor. Yeah it was good to see those Fox versions of the X-Men on screen. But so many of them were not done right. Storm, Cyclops, Rogue, Bishop, and Gambit all deserved better than how there were written in those movies.

Cyclops was never a “jerk”. He always cared about humans too however he just called out the Avengers on their hypocrisy on never carting about mutants and letting mutants die

Not a bad list. Here’s some ideas from me. 1) Since Khamala is a mutant from the jump, perhaps a character like Monet or Dust could team up with her. Monet could be a rival and Dust could be the girl she’s awkward around until she realises Dust just wants to be her friend. 2) because of all the messed up stuff that’s happened to her for the sake of Charles Xavier, Sage. Sage is one of those characters who really needs some more love. 3) Emma Frost. Just saying. Have her be a villain at first and then join their side as the cool one. 4) Rogue. I mean, let’s have fun with her. Let’s also have her so we can have Mystique and Destiny on board. They’re straight up savages and are the definition of “be gay, do crimes.” 5) If we do anything regarding the outback, someone like Gateway. Seriously, this aboriginal elder is kind of a silent badass who helps the children out a lot. 6) longshot. If Mojoworld is touched, this guy needs to be there. 7) Forge. The Technopath that doesn’t want to be a mystic. He’s fun. For villains, I’d put Mystique’s brotherhood, Cameron Hodge, the Reavers if we do the Morlocks, Fenris if we want to show how gross Hydra is, Mojo if we want to do social commentary… and the big one. Selene! If we need human allies, Candy Southern is a must for Angel.

I really like them to introduce Gambit. Hopefully they also introduce Wolverine in his class Wolverine suit. The MCU better do a much better job with the X-men timeline. I mean, I like the X-men in the Fox universe, but their timeline are so freaking confusing. There’s really a lot of interesting X-men characters that I love to see in a live action MCU movie. Hopefully the MCU know what to do with them.

I grew up with Hugh Jackman as the wolverine, and I thought he fit the role very well. But if they bring another actor to play the role, he has allot of work to do.

While I really like that Carlos dude there’s one big gigantic glaring problem with him playing Professor X. Charles Xavier is a white man while Carlos is a black man. Therefore that would make about as much sense as wiping before you poop🤷‍♂️

Matt Nix needs to build the X-Men universe with the MCU. He did a great job on The Gifted tv show. New Mutants was a good movie too. New Mutants had Collosus's sister on it, Magik. And The Gifted had Magneto's daughter, Polaris on it.

I think professor x showing up in his yellow wheel chair was more than enough of a teaser.
